    Ingredients:
    For the crepes:
    1 cup (125g) All-purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon Salt
    2 Eggs
    1 tablespoon Sugar
    1¼ cups (300ml) Milk
    2 tablespoon (30g) Butter
    Oil for cooking
    1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)
    For serving (optional):
    Nutella
    Cream cheese
    Banana
    Strawberries
    Directions:
    1. In a large bowl sift flour, add salt, sugar and stir.
    2. In a separate bowl whisk eggs, vanilla extract and milk, until combined.
    3. Gradually add the milk mixture into flour mixture and stir until incorporated and smooth. Pour in melted butter and whisk until combined. Let stand at room temperature for 15-30 minutes (or in the fridge).
    4. Heat a small non-stick pan over medium heat. Add butter or oil to coat.
    5. Pour about 1/-3-1/4 cup of the crepe batter, swirling it to evenly coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes, flip and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter. Remember to grease the pan between ease crepe.
    6. Serving suggestion: spread 1-2 tablespoons of Nutella, top with banana slices, fold and serve.
    7. Serving suggestion 2: spread 1-2 tablespoons cream cheese/sour cream, top with strawberries, fold and serve.

I looked for a crepe recipe and yours looked the best. I like your ideas for serving it as well. I had it once about 40 years ago at a restaurant and they mixed a thick creamy whip cream with ( homemade) cranberry sauce. I’ve never forgotten how good that was. I’m trying it tonight. Ty for your easy recipe.

Other flavourings that you can add (from a French and cooking enthusiast):
    - orange blossom extract, very popular in Southern France/the Mediterranean countries
    - cinnamon
    - coffee extract
    - almond or hazelnut milk instead of regular milk
    - cocoa powder for a chocolatey taste and a darker crepe

    the mistakes to avoid :
    - putting fruits in that sht, just eat the fruits separately.
    - putting anything on the top, the thing with crepes is that you can eat it with ur hands so if u guys put some sugar or maple syrop on that btch it won't work.. just make it simple and good it is my french tip

Question, I really prefer to use whole wheat flour to cool (although I don't bake much) and wonder if you know of a way to use WH instead of white and still make things lighter and fluffy? Edit: I was just told by a nutritionist that another healthy alternative is almond flour, I'm told it tastes a little different than white flour but is much healthier and much less gluten than whole wheat.

I even did one batch with no butter, almond milk, (aquafaba instead of eggs) and it came out great! They looked and tasted identical. Nothing less than amazing! I only got ten crepes out of a single batch of this recipe. I have a huge family so I tripled the recipe and it made 32 crepes using an 11" skillet. My family and friends loved them!
