  • Do you want to make an original gift? Does it have to be quick and easy? And do you want to make this from cheap wood or even scrapwood? Make a wooden pendant for a necklace!
    I show in 10 simple steps how to make a wooden pendant that is convex and concave with an off center opening in it. Because of this shape it is clearly not flat woodwork and that makes this pendant a bit more exclusive.
    It's a great beginner project and you don't need any special tools or jigs. A hot glue gun is necessary.
    let me know in the comments what you think or give me a thumbs up or down.

    Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. Remember, when the wood goes around, the face shield goes down.🙂🙂

      It happens to me more and more that I miss a video. There is also so much fun to watch. It's good that you found this one now that you're making your own pendant. I'm curious.

      Thanks Mike. It is often the simple projects that are so much fun to do. And it doesn't matter if things don't go well, because it doesn't take that much work and time.

    • @TheTinyWorkshop
      @TheTinyWorkshop  Рік тому

      The size is about 5cm. The size oh the necklace is individually.
      I used wax cord. This one was already finished with a lock and comes from a local hobby store.

  • @bassrun101
    @bassrun101 Рік тому

    Garry NOT Linda. A better method to remove the piece from the glue block and remove the hot glue from the disc is to wet the piece down with alcohol. In the US it's denatured alcohol in Europe and other countries it's methylated spirits. Take your time and don't rush it. Use a small brush, wet the joint down, let it sit a few minutes and do it again. It may take up to15 minutes. Keep it moist, you don't have to soak it. Do something else while doing this. Try prying under the glue line with a thin blade every so often until it comes loose. It takes a little time but you won't damage your piece.
