    --------
In this clip, Melle Mel talked about the rise of the "beef era" in hip-hop during the mid 1990s well into the present. 1:00-1:31 Me myself truly and really hard to say that NY open the doors up for the West Coast. The lockers were on Soul Train in 1975, real live footage. Before the Zulu Nation,Cholly Rock who was a Black Spade & Original Zulu King can tell that was one of the first B Boys and they wasn’t using cardboard, linoleum. They was on concrete but they have no footage of it in those days of early and mid 70’s..... Later late 70’s yu would see footage but early 80’s the first Hip Hop Movie was Wildstyle when journalists ask them can they film them,of yes to them cause it was like being outside to them and then Breakin with Adolfo Shabba Doo Quinones.. So on that note cyaan say they open the doors up for the West Coast cause now the Bloods and Crips are heavy in NY and they know they forefathers is the West Coast.. Gang Culture,S/O to the Dogg Pound and TBS(The Black Spades ♠️) 1968-1975...

NY birthed Hip Hop but they still going thru the discrepancy of who started what when and where first without no proof of footage or flyers from back then. But it’s too much to explain on that, also in the west coast they created dances and appeared on Soul Train and they did a lot of floor moves that they do and Hip Hop in NY did the same but no footage. So this is why I say but anyway just to clear it a little more. People in Jersey say Hip Hop started in Jersey cause of the label Sugarhill Records and Sugarhill Gang were from Jersey. But Sylvia Robinson was from Harlem and signed Grandmaster Flash Melly Mel,Funky Four plus 1 I mean everybody and they were from the Bronx. Pay attention but Ima leave the Gang Culture alone cause it were many Black Gangs in L.A. before the Black Spades ♠️(It a big discrepancy between East Bronx Mario and the West Bronx Kool Herc)…… I hope yu understand a little now
