    Very nice and interesting video…
Love the Picton Castle …I did toured her once at time she was visiting Saginaw (MI) some years ago..
The new main sail seems to have a nice cut and will give quite some push with the new genoa.
First time I see this solar tubular cooking device..How genius and energy free…
    Thanks for sharing…

A fine, elegant vessel. Bristol fashion. I like how she cuts the water.
Ive been wondering of the mast steps. How are they afixed? I mean the screw size and such details.

The main mast step is an 8inch square timber which rests across three floor Timbers. The floor Timbers at the forward and after end of the mast step are extra high and the mast step is mortised into these floor Timbers. The floor Timbers are in turn bolted with 1/4” bronze bolts to the hull frames. These floor Timbers extend from the keel upwards about 24” or so.

@@eleutheros That is some great information. Much appreciated.
But I meant the steps for climbing up the masts.

Were you referring to the mast-climbing "steps?"

@@Richard-rz8gt Right, the mast climbing steps. They are attached with #12 bronze screws.
