These were the fifth and sixth trains I caught today. The fifth train was my favorite catch of the day: a southbound mixed freight with CSX's first AC6000 leading, CSX 600! The trailing engines were an ES40DC, a road slug, and a GP40-2. The sixth train was just an ES40DC running lite across the crossing.
This was my first time hearing an ASC e-bell in person! Not sure if the General Signals e-bell is a Type-1 or a Type-2 as I can barely hear it.
Also, a word of warning, this crossing is apparently in a really bad area.

Superb video David! I love the ASC Electronic bells, the WRRS mechanical bell, and the long horn blow at
Man it is a shame this crossing was closed!

And nice catch of that CSX engine following that train at
It's a shame the crossing got closed.
Great Catch! Nice find with the ASC E-Bells. I wonder why do some have their own sound and some sound like GS type 1s.
Great catches! RIP these signals, quite a diversity of bells (and all the equipment, really) here. Where is the closest ASC e-bell to you now? AFAIK, for me it's the ones in Glen Ellyn, IL, and the ones in the next town over, Wheaton, IL, which are both a good three hours away from me.
Lol the suv almost tried beat the gate lol decided to turn around go different route lmao nice video
the ASC bells sounds like a GS TYPE 2 E-bell
That crossing is long gone.
There is a power move at
LUCKY!!!!
Awesome video. What do you mean by a bad area. Crime or a lot of cops who hate railfans here? Just wondering...
