Bhairav is a reincarnation of Lord Shiva according to Hindu Mythology. He is said to be very fierce and violent in nature. Dhun is a Hindi word which means rhythm.
Dhun, in Indian Classical Music, means a light version of the a raaga played in a lighter mood. The rhythm is usually Dadra(6 beats), though it's not compulsory. There are certain raagas which are very suitable for light mood renditions. Piloo, Kafi, Khamaj and Bhairavi are in those category. Bhairavi is an Indian raaga usually played in the early morning, although it is said to be "sada-suhagan"(loved at all times). It signifies departure from glory, respect and mourning for that in popular renditions. But it might have other shades as well.
