I did the same thing and I’m also young with this much grey hair. I ended up going short and edgey with haircut BUT my daughter says I’m too young to quit coloring hair. She may be right. But I no longer have to look in disgust at that white horrible line in my part of hair one week after doing base color with highlights. NO! I refuse! I hate that white line. No matter what color goes next to it , you can still see that new growth coming in. Why bother when you have that much grey? Anyways I get tons of compliments so I do recommend it.
I agree with you, I guess we all worry with some extent on how we will look to others. Once we can achieve the ( I don't give a damn what others think) we would all be much happier in our choices. I learning this path slowly lol.
You're so pretty. I think you should get a hairdresser to cut off all the brown. And have a grey pixie cut and then grow that out. You'll feel like a whole new woman.

Last year at 64 I decided to embrace my natural grey so I shaved my head ( I do not recommend that lol) well just a few days ago I tried to bleach and match but no luck. Wednesday 4th sept 2024 I've decided to start my journey but I'm not as brave as you. I've got dark brown / black long hair after 30 yrs of being bleached blonde, and with the cost of living shooting up a never ending spiral I decided to box dye. 2 1/2 years later I am fed up with dyeing it. So come Wednesday I am having a pixie cut so that the 1inch grey growth I already have can keep growing. This is extremely scary for me as I have very thick wavey hair and I haven't had short hair in about 20 yrs. I have however placed in baskets in many online shops, hats just in case I hate it that much. I just have to remember the reason behind it all. Once all grown out a beautiful silver toner will go on top. I actually think your hair looks good but I'm definitely not as brave as you. Love to see the final outcome.

I'm trying with everything I have not to dye my hair. There is more grey than black anymore. It's getting tedious. But also I'm not even 35 so it feels weird.

Lovely colour coming through, looks so even. I started growing mine out in April, can’t wait to never have to colour my hair again.

The grey is very pretty. You can color your hair once to even it to gray color so yo don’t experience the grow out phase.
I would go to a salon and they can get the rest to be gray that way you can grow it out after that without any maintenance ❤
