- "Imagine" is a song by English rock musician John Lennon from his 1971 album of the same name. The best-selling single of his solo career, its lyrics encourage listeners to imagine a world at peace without the barriers of borders or the divisions of religion and nationality and to consider the possibility that the whole of humanity would live unattached to material possessions. Shortly before his death, Lennon said that much of the song's lyric and content came from his wife Yoko Ono, and in 2017 she received co-writing credit.

Wow, that was amazing. The lead singer's chest voice to falsetto transitions were just like John Lennon's - awesome. Everything else was totally spotless. Such control on a contemplative song with many long held notes. I agree with others that this may be the REO Brothers finest - so far!

I am impressed with his excellent repertoire of great taste, his perfect vocal harmony, as well as the perfect instrumental.
If I may suggest three songs, I would like to see you sing "Day After Day" by Badfinger, "Mr Tambourine Man" by The Byrds and especially "Silence is Golden" by The Tremeloes (ua-cam.com/video/O-SlPrlia6c/v-deo.html).
These hits would look magnificent and dazzling in their voices and arrangements.

I'm alone at home and upon seeing and hearing this from my desktop, I still feel not contented and left my room at once and went to the living room, clicked UA-cam on the TV console with Bose Soundbar and surround speakers and Oh! I can't explain the feeling, mesmerized, teary eyed while listening repeatedly. I grew up listening and enjoyed Beatles' Music and each member's solo career specially this John Lennon's monster hit of a song "Imagine". REO brothers musical talents and a young John Lennon like Raymart's flawless voice really stand out, and I finally reckon that the feeling was like it is the first time I hear it when John released it in 1971. I'm nearing retirement now and would be happy that I could still enjoy live music of my generation performed by this young great musicians.

Whenever I want to watch how the Beatles performed in concert during their heyday, I watch the Fab Four and Rain which are both American tribute bands of the Beatles. To me, these two "copycat" tribute bands are the best in the world. Their antics on stage and their looks are reminiscent of the Beatles. Now, when I want to listen to the original studio sound of the Beatles - the very sound - I grew up with, the REO Brothers is the band I watch and listen to. These guys are perfectionists that every song they cover sounds like the original recordings if not better in some. I have watched their covers of the Cascades, Dave Clark Five, Gary Lewis & the Playboys among others on several of their performances on You Tube but I could not appreciate the mediocre audio sounds. Hopefully, they will remaster some of those same songs in their home studio channel as this.

I continue to be so impressed with the vocal and instrumental sophistication of this group of brothers. They simply are getting better and better as they mature. There are two hauntingly beautiful covers where Raymart has the lead: "Imagine" and "A Day in the Life." Just pure gold with all the tonal elements spot on. I stumbled onto the REO Brothers in the early phases of COVID. Have not missed a day without listening. They continue to impress!
Listening at full volume....goosies. I could listen to Raymart's tight, crispy clear voice for hours. Love you REO brothers that was another great rendition. You just made everyone happy.

Raymart hardly ever does lead vocals but this is just phenomenal. They saved this for John's birthday and just made it perfect. Nobody has ever covered this beautiful song better. These fine superbly talented brothers have captured the world's attention and deserve every good thing that happens from it. The amount of work they do to capture these songs perfectly is just unimaginable. They've had quite a journey from extreme poverty thru a typhoon and discovery in Manila. They have gotten better with age and now are capable of doing anything they want. But this song and video are their best work yet. Raymart, you have given us the perfect tribute to the man responsible for your success. Your love of their work shows in every video.
