Multi-years a collector of antique JD tractors and implements - a '31 GP to a JD 60. got all letters except an H, a few w/ 40 - 42" rubber. I love plowing. Came by 4 JD 202's; two hyd. and 2 mech. It'll take parts from one of each to make its mate operational. Really wrestling about keeping all 4 to eventually get 1 of each type (Hyd & Mech) operational. I have restored a couple of John Deere 4b 2 bottom plows. One has the Syracuse points and the other one has the chisel points. I gave the 2 12 inch bottom one to my brother for his 44 B. The chisel one is a 14 inch 2 bottom, that has been behind my 41 A. I can’t add pictures to comments. Bummer
@@jonelsonster yes. The chisel point are better for harder ground, where the Syracuse point are more like standard type points. For medium ground conditions. Here in Michigan we use both types. The lower portion of the glove would use the Syracuse point. While the upper half of glove used the chisel point as the ground was harder to work with. I live in the southeastern corner of the glove. Near Detroit.
@@MNinNE I didn't think there is a place to find parts. That's why I bought a second plow. Are you looking for parts for a manual lift or a hydraulic lift 202?
@@MNinNE I'll look next time I'm up at the farm. But I would guess they are not the same. The mechanical lift plow axles go directly into a large gearbox. But I'll check.
Nice find and hydraulic lift is a plus.
I am a little nervous about hydraulic. All I've ever used is either the manual trip plow or a 3 point hitch plow... So it will be a change.

When do you use Syracuse points instead chisel points? Is one better for one soil type?
