I'm looking at all of your videos bro I believe that your plan is a good plan I live in Arkansas and want to run Texas because I believe there are alot of loads in the state also some Louisiana Arkansas every now and then never really Oklahoma
@@cookinginthehammerlane I believe that. They go in expecting to be rich the first few weeks and don't understand to run a business there's going to be a season of being broke before that money comes in. Gotta stick it out, adapt and work on new solutions that work.
Damn, a lot of haters on this feed lol. It sounds like everybody comes to Super Ego with a Company Driver mentality and don’t know their lanes that their running and have no business sense and wonder why they failing lol 😂
Hey man i am tim i recently got hired on at super ego i seen your 1 year review i fly in to Chicago Tuesday night just want to know if I could get any pointers about the company I have wanted to be a owner operator for a while. And I’m trying to find good ideas and ways to earn my own company for the first time.
Negative, driver. If a driver is having cash flow issues, they need to start saving. Do NOT fuel for the load. Plan your trips. When you find cheap fuel, FILL everything. Fill the tanks to the neck, fill you bucket, fill your pockets…. Okay, not that far, but fill the tanks. The week cutoff does NOT matter. You will still use that fuel. Top off before going into expensive areas. Keep up the videos. Just have to get people past the payday to payday mentality. In addition, get fuel cards and compare them all while planning.
That sounds like something a Company Driver would do. However, when you’re an Owner Operator you can’t fuel like a Company Driver would. If I only need 50 gallons to get to my destination why am I putting in 150 gallons, especially if I’m at the end of the pay period (right before the cut-off period)?
@@JuneBugginTrucking If the pay period factors into your decisions to buy fuel, then you haven’t got enough saved up. Think about it, you will use that diesel either this week or next. If you buy it cheap, it’s yours. Saving money is the goal, not having the highest paycheck for a single week. Get past living paycheck to paycheck. Then buy your fuel to save money, not worrying about cut-off period. What are you using to get discounted fuel prices? You aren’t relying upon the company card, are you?

Aye I know they have some company driver spots too, that's what they're offering me. 65cpm at least 3000 miles a week, and flexible logs 😄. Do you know anything about their company drivers?
@B-Smoove REACTIONS I appreciate that,I'll definitely keep that 1099 info, that's helpful. Unfortunately mgl and a lot of the other Chicago companies require 2 years experience and to be 23+, but I'll double check. I'll be a company driver at Ego,I know better than to do a lease with them.

I've always had good fuel mileage in a international but can you get good loads coming from Laredo TX
Class action against super ego for altering rate cons
How do you know the details? Are you a lawyer? Or just speculating?
@@cookinginthehammerlaneSounds like speculation to me.

Do you use discount cards like tcs card to save on fuel? Advertised average savings of . 68 cents per gallon.
I love you content ❤❤❤❤❤
Why you go with an International?
What truck is giving you better mpg the international or the kenworth you had?
The Kenworth, I just like Cummins!

What should truck tires pressure be
I would look on the sidewalls of the tires and see what the recommended Hot and cold tire pressure should be.
Do they let you stay in a specific region or you have to go OTR?
