Been waiting a while for this one. It checks all the boxes i want: a good story, soundtrack, and gameplay. I wish the other Tales games get ported over so I can experience all of them.
It made me happy when you said there is a lack of puzzles in the dungeons. Most games just throw them in there just because, and they often annoy me more than satisfy me. So that great there’s a lack of puzzles 👌
I wish there would be a preview clip on all the available artes in the artes menu so it's easier to figure out which artes chain better with other artes..also wish we could toggle the target lock on/off instead of instant auto lock-on when combat initiates..still it's a great game though..it's on par with Final Fantasy 7 Remake for me..
I tried the demo and the only complaint I have was with how the skits were presented (missing the Berseria skits right about now...). Everything else was just what I wanted! Definitely picking this up when it releases!
I wasnt aware it's already out tomorrow! (Europe). Gonna play the hell out of it, it looks gorgeous and well polish. Im glad dungeon doesnt have puzzle in them and are straighforward.
I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed a tales game since Tales of Symphonia. Abyss was good but I tried Berseria, Vesperia, legendia, graces F, xillia… Symphonia was the only one that gripped me. The rest have been lacking. Idk if it’s the graphics or the boring character tropes or whatever but I just about given up on the series. Hell, Symphonia still has the fastest and best battle system in my opinion. I’m going to give this one a try. I’m hoping it clicks with me. Great review man
So since you beat the game you can answer the question did they really censor this game or is there like the hot springs and supposedly you know risque outfits and all that
Grandiose is pronounced without the "e" as in gran-dee-os. Not to sound like your english teacher but may help you in future videos, cheers. Like the review though keep up the good work!

After the shitfest that was Zestiria and the utter disappointment that was Berseria, I'm freaking glad that Arise freaking delivered! Classic Tales reborn! Plus, Alphen x Shionne is such a cute couple ...And strong MCs!!! ...I do wish they kept the victory poses/scenes tho...
I came for the review and left for the massive spoiler drops within two minutes. I mean damn, you don't need to spoil the first few hours of a game to review it as a whole.
