Ok this was the puzzle piece that I was missing and the best teaching I have heard in such a long time. So very grateful that I heard this message with my husband. After the teaching he asked me where the tzittzie were that I had made for him over a year ago, he put them on and I cried. Thank you so much for this video. I have already shared it with my family and friends.

I loved this teaching. I'm Christian, not Jewish & a few years ago, I decided to start dressing with Tzitzits. I've made my own with God's name & a white cape/shawl outfit to attach them to. I knew why I wanted to change how I dress outside the home, but your video gave me the confirmation with scripture that I'm not being inappropriate. TY so much. Much love & blessings now & forever.

No doubt this is a command of Yah after watching this teaching!
    Well done Jakkie
The fact that many will be grabbing our tassels as they know we are of YHVH .....what a place to be in, to guide others to Yah. And they recognise it and want it by what we wear and how we walk dedicated to walking in Torah.......I see many in the end days will be running to these what a sign to wear and to be a light in this dark world for others.

That is a man made theology, show me where it tells us to seperate the Law into Ceremonial, Moral and Civil or keep one of those categories as a Christian?
The Bible tells us, those who are in Christ become the common wealth of Israel as shown in the teaching. Therefore we are to observe the law as the nation of Israel.

    *Zachariah 8-23*
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days *ten men* from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ ”
My sister @chiararealini pointed out the connection of the number *10* relating to the lost 10 tribes. Tzitzit helping to gather the remnant of the 10 tribes of Israel. Great addition 🔥

On the garments of a jew, an observant jew, not a messianic jew. And the explanation of this verse is: In the end of the days, people with different beliefs will ask the jews to teach them about the real God. They won't look after a missionary, after a Christian of after a Muslim or whatever. They will look after a jew, that doesn't believe in Jesus, keeps the Torah the way it was given on Mount Sinai, the Writen Law and the Oral Law.

*Due to unseen circumstances there will be no Torah Portion this week, although we hope you enjoy this new teaching instead!*
"Christians" today represent their faith physically by buying all kinds of items, whether that be crosses, bible t-shirts, scripture etched jewellery etc. However, does the scripture already tell us to wear something that we can represent Yeshua (Jesus) with? In this study we investigate history, prophecy and more... researching the forgotten dress code of Yeshua (Jesus), the tzitzit, and if "Christians" should wear them.

Saying we are stealing culture & I was so so scared. I didn’t want to offend Jewish people at all. They are the bride & so beautiful but I really want to follow this practice & commandment. Thank you for this explanation, full break down. ❤

I do not idolize statues & figures of what Caucasians thing Yeshua looks like, nor do I idolize statues or crosses. I'd you are Messianic & Torah observant it is perfectly acceptable to wear Tzit Tzit.

Also true believers know he wasn't of Caucasian decent but also it does not matter :) his appearance doesn't matter and shouldn't effect anything

Shalom, thanks for watching and praise be to Yah. I took it from a book I read called "Tzitzit" by Toby Janicki. I don't recommend the book but I filtered truths from it. I looked several times for the translation but couldn't find it and I didn't want to reference the book in the teaching as I don't agree with the authors conclusion and didn't want to mislead people. I didn't spend too long trying to find it but if I was to look again it seems to be orthodox "ish" Hebrew to English translation. I couldn't find a reference in the book either. Nonetheless breaking the sentence down in the blue letter bible you could conclude the translation is legit regardless of knowing the translation version 🙏

@@Timeless_Productions_uk The Stone edition of the Tanach starts out the same way and except for a more messiah friendly choice of a few key words it remains the same. I am guessing Tobe or FFOZ writers used it as the foundation and gave their translation of the words that vary from it (like Minyon, and Tzitzit of Mashiach). It’s Just a guess, but an educated guess because I have sat with writers from FFOZ like Aaron Eby, who was chief translator for the Delitzsch Hebrew Matthew. This may be one of his translations.
Here is the Stone edition of the tanach. In the Tanach It is Zechariah 8:23. “ Thus said HASHEM, Master of Legions: In those days it will happen that ten men, of all the [different] languages of the nations, will take hold, they will take hold of the corner of the garment of a Jewish man, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you!”
The Hebrew text in the Stone edition does not have the word tzitzit, but [beit-khaf-nun-phe] So it seems they took some liberty here to change it to tzitzit, unless there are other Hebrew manuscripts that actually use tzitzit.
Also, the Hebrew here does not contain the word Meshiach; but rather “ish yehudi”. Maybe this is an idiom for messiah. I don’t know. They would though. For sure.

Shalom, wow this is truly profound. The almond blossoms, the hair, the covenants. It all ties together perfectly (pun intended lol)
I've always believed it was for men only. Now I'm not sure anymore. Is it sin if I don't as a woman? How do I deal with being respectful to the Jewish community who might see me with them and think its disrespectful? Im a building a seperation wall between me and my Jewish neighbours? Cultural norms? Is it a testimony to my Sunday Christian friends and family or a stumbling block? All these questions come up as I ponder this study.
    Anyone some wisdom for me?
It's not that I personally don't want to wear them, it's all these questions I have mentioned before.
Also my community and elders advice against wearing them.
So all this to say its not always easy.

    • @AlmondHouseFellowship
      @AlmondHouseFellowship  Рік тому +4

Shalom, HalleluYAH and glory to the king!
I understand your view of not wanting to become a stumbling block, although, is it a sin for a woman not to observe the shabbat? Definitely! As mentioned it's the same Hebrew word used for the command of tzitzit so I would say it is.
      Scriptural > Traditional
There's a stark warning in Mark
      *Mark 7:8*
You have disregarded the commandment of God to keep the tradition of men.”
We must not bow to tradition of man like Daniel if it puts us at emnity with Yah.
Bless you for having a heart of a peacemaker, I would say you could wear them modestly, not opting for the most lengthy tassels.
But also consider that there are some Rabbi's that permit women wearing tztizit as they see the view as I demonstrated in the teaching, tzitzit is actually a feminine noun. If you are around Jews it may be worth arming yourself with the names of the Rabbi's to give a reasoning if questioned to appear blameless.

    • @pegtop5455
      @pegtop5455 Рік тому +1

I struggle with these questions also. The more I study and follow the teachings in the Bible, the more isolated I become from people. Is that what “set apart” qodesh means? Did YHVH really mean for me to be alone? I mean, isn’t loving and being loved more important than being set apart? It’s hard, but I am still trying to keep his commandments.
And suddenly the words of Yeshua regarding those who follow his teachings start coming true in my life. I was always popular and never persecuted or hated as He said I would be if I followed Him. That always puzzled me...until I actually started keeping his commandments...all of them I could find...and All he said about family, about being persecuted, about being hated... suddenly came to pass. I lost pretty much everything that meant anything to me. I die daily, as Paul said.
Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
Copy paste: if you have time and desire to read further on this concept, it says everything I would say, but better:
      “I Die Daily
The apostle Paul in his first epistle to the Corinthian Church wrote the famous phrase: “I die daily” (1 Corinthians 15:31). In this passage, Paul was showing his pride in the fruits of his ministry and the hope of the Resurrection that allowed him to endure trials and actually “die daily.” Paul argued, if there is no resurrection from the dead, this daily dying would appear to be foolishness. He did not ascribe credit for his ministry, but credited its success to “Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The life of the apostle to the Gentiles was so full of hardships, persecutions, troubles, and trials that it might have seemed like a living death. In Romans 8:36, he wrote, “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” And he added in 2 Corinthians 4:8-11, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”
      Strength in Weakness
The phrase “I die daily” contains also the secret for Paul’s triumphant life. For the Lord revealed to him “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9,10).
The Lord meets all the needs of His children with His grace. God has never promised to change the circumstances of His children or free them from hardships. Outwardly a believer may be broken, yet inwardly he will have perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3, 4). Thus, defeat can always be transformed into victory. The character of the believer is formed when he doesn’t rely on self but God. The great heroes of the Bible such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Daniel went through similar experiences.
      The Hope of the Resurrection
The apostle Paul understood clearly that the life of the believer must be one of self-denial at every step of the road (Galatians 2:20; Matthew 16:24-26). The believer who struggles in this life and walks through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4), may take courage from the fact that all trials will cease when Jesus Christ comes again, raise the dead, and take the righteous to their eternal home of glory (1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17). This very hope gives him the stamina to die daily.
      In His service,
      BibleAsk Team”

this is amazing, deep, and beautiful. what an honor, to be able to wear the tassels, and to know and understand all they mean and all they stand for. there is so much more to them for us than the reminder to obey. we also get the privilege of looking back to our Savior healing people with His, and we can carry this beautiful symbol of new life, risen from the death and destruction of sin. They can remind us of our salvation, and the promise of new life, eternally enjoyed in the presence of YhWH.

Great teaching. I will have to think about how I could wear them as I work around and inside machinery, and any jewelry or loose clothing is a major hazard as they can get caught in a machine and pulled in. And these machines are unforgiving of mistakes. Also the other consideration is oil and grease. If I wear them at work they will get stained. So maybe just when I'm off work?

Thank you! All glory be to Yah 🙌 The Torah prioritises life in every case so I think it would be viewed as wisdom incase they get caught in machinery.
However the Bible also doesn't state the length of them so you could have very small tassels or even have them tucked in? Although this is suggestion and always prioritise life first!

To understand what the thread of blue is, how and why it was twisted and tied, understanding the Talit is key as a Covering garment, an ancient jacket.
The word Talit is a form of the word Talah, where Talah means Lamb or Sheep. Talah most likely refers to the hair of the sheep which is processed to become the Talit covering blanket.
    How were blankets made?
They were made on a stick loom. Looking at the Navajo looms will provide understanding of the fringes of the Talit. These fringes were cut, then knotted to prevent unraveling. The Two corner threads are required to include a blue thread when knotting.
I learned, Talits were woolen ancient jackets/personal blankets. In blanket weaving, fringe threads are a product of the weaving, being support while the blanket is woven.
