its amazing how the Drs can literally work a miracle and then joke around and act like children the next minute!! hahaha i love that! great episode and great work.

I had no idea that having a kidney removed could cause something like that. I hear all the time about donating ones kidney, but no after effects like that. I learned something new.
I live where he lives!!! Now to intentionally get pulled over until I get him specifically and say, "OMG! You were on Botched and your transformation was amazing!"
I love how it’s referred to as *”the pooch.”* Even after a week post-op it looked sooo much better. You can tell how much *Dr. Terry* is proud of his work 🤙🏼
This by far was one of the BEST and FUNNIEST Botched I've ever watched over the years! You could clearly see the Dr.'s, well moreso Dr Dubrow secretly wanted to be a Police Officer in another life, lol! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I find this upsetting this is considered cosmetic surgery. This is a complication from kidney surgery! It is to repair the abdominal wall first and foremost.
When i was growing up we had a pair of family docs like this. They were really good at their jobs, worked together in the same office and lived next door to each other. Its a 1 in a million time for these 2 to meet and get to work together...must be so enjoyable
OMG that was one hell of an op. That's what you two need to concentrate on: people with real need and not these ridiculous plastic addicted folks. You've given that cop his life back and made it safer, too. Soooo fantastic.
I’ve had my kidney removed because of an extremely rare and agressieve kidney cancer when I was 5 and my torso is the opposite of his. Instead of a bulge/pouch, my side is extremely concave. It’s sunken in about 7.5-10 cm /3-4 inch making my hipbone touch my ribs when I sit. Standing up I can place about 2 fists in the space that is there as a result of not having my kidney filling the space anymore. And my right hip sits about 10 cm/4 inches higher than my left, resulting in lower back pain.
I feel he was the most deserving patient on this show…not there because of vanity, a community servant and first responder who can now do his job to the fullest. Love it.
They are too funny and what a job fixing that tricky stomach area. That cannot be easy and I don't think they were convinced that it wouldn't be a perfect fix. I just hope they have worked out the issues with those mesh things. Happy for the cop to have his life back.
My late husband has an identical problem. When he was 15 years old (1966), he was in a car accident that took off the top of his hand. The surgeons created a flap in his side and sewed his hand in it to keep it alive. After several months they removed his hand with the flap grown into it and covered the open area on his side with a skin graft from his leg. They then took a set of tendons and a ligament out of his foot to make his hand function. Several years later, a plastic surgeon fixed his side and reduced the size of the graft on the top of his hand.
I’ve got the same phenomenon bilaterally from a radiation treatment on my vertebrae. However it’s not necessarily compromised my core strength. I did consult with a plastic surgeon and his plan seemed to involve too much for me to risk having the surgery since it was a more cosmetic issue for me rather than an impairment.
I found this so very interesting Although the doctor mention it was unique to the removal of a kidney ( if I got that right ). I have the identical bulge which is the result of A triple A surgery . I am waiting to C a surgeon for a consult on this matter. I am saving this video to show Him/Her/Them just what it is incase they feel it might B something else. Great video. So happy it was posted on You Tube. otherwise I would not have any idea what it was I was told I would have a lump after my triple A surgery but I was not expecting it to B this big. I call him lurch ( grin )
Dr Dubrow is happier than the patient 😂
I noticed that too. He's giddy!
He was so proud of himself. Too cute!!
They didn't record all the moments of his happiness
He created a new procedure. I'd be proud too.
@@veeva1965 Absolutely!! He changed that man’s life and perhaps others to come!

I know! I love them two together 😂❤
A good reminder that you can be silly fun and no less competent than a very serious personality.
@@emilygoogle6520 agreed!!
It's like highly educated people are humans.
They're like a pair of bad little boys roasting each other.
The Docs did an amazing fix on the police officer. He looked so confident at the end. I love how they both banter back n forth in the show.
These two have the best friendship! Imagine working with your best friend! Love them!
I'm so happy Paul got married!!! He deserves a queen
Theyve been married for awhile now. His wife is prego with their second baby.
Wesley is flabby.

Wesley seems like a sweet guy!! so glad he's doing better :) love the man crush the docs had on him too haha
“Sweet guy” with blue line half sleeve… riiiiiight…
I love how the drs explain the problem and what they are going to do.
This was like my favorite episode. What a great couple. I love that the wife supports and trains her sweet cop hubby.
Terry is a different type of funny omg 😂😂😂
Imagine the confusion of passers-by during that last bit! 😂
Finally a cop that actually trains and doesn’t look like a meatball
Having had kidney cancer and surgery I am very glad the docs were able to help this man. Well done!
I ❤️ how Dr. Nassif had on handcuffs and a bullet proof vest

That's going to be a very expensive meeting if you keep getting a "different" Officer, lol!

From a brother in blue in Sydney, Australia.
Congrats Dr. Nassif!
This is the BEST episode yet!!!
You too are hilariously nuts!! Excellent job.
two :)
Love how these men help others.
Great episode! I had a kidney transplant and wanted my old ones removed because of the pain they cause, now I know why they wouldn't do it!
I always wondered why they left the defective kidneys in. And now I know one of the reasons. 😊
I have the exact same problem 😢 wish I could afford this surgery 🥺… He did an amazing job 🤩🤩👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏼🙌🏼
Maybe reach out to be on the show? Wishing you the best!

Heavily Unarmed took me out LMAO
Look at those guns! Forget about the swollen side, he’s looking jacked!
He looked so in love at his wedding.
wow didn't think it could be done but terry did it and it looks great as well as being functional too.
Dr. Dubrow has gotta stop f’ing w/ his face! Omg, he was so handsome. wtf is up with his cheeks?😱
Paul's perp walk to the car 😂😂😂
Poor guy. How awesome to get that fixed. These docs are just purely miracle workers.

Crazy. I just had a case like that just today at the hospital 😮😮
He's a good looking cop, I'm so happy for him. I hope the pooch won't come back again, he's been through a lot since childhood. 😊
I love that comment from the wife about pigs, and this comes from a family whose sister is in law enforcement haha
He's a great man married to a great woman
TFF, too frickin’ funny. Glad he recovered so well!
THIS outcome was fantastic! Terry is so mean to Paul!
A "Love Handle" they won't miss!
