You already know how to please the Machine Gods at this point so thank you so much. And make your voices heard for which faction you would like to see next!

Everything below is for the omnissiah. But like, you can read it if you want. Just a synopsis of the video you're watching.
In this episode, we cover the Imperial Knights within the Warhammer 40k universe. These towering bipedal engines of war hail from feudal worlds known as Knight Worlds with each Knight being piloted by a Noble on the Throne Mechanicum. With Knights sworn to the Emperor being known as Questor Imperialis and those to the Omnissiah as Questor Mechanicus. Operated from Knight Households or Questoris Familia, these Knights are piloted by Knight Scions.
The history of Imperial Knights dates back to the Dark Age of Technology, with colonization ships reaching their pre-chosen worlds and facing lethal wildlife or hostile conditions. The first Knight suits, created by STC machines, were designed to defend against predators and hostile Xenos. Over time, a feudal system formed, with those protected by the Knights becoming vassals to their masters.
During the Age of Strife, Mars sent expeditions to find remnants of human knowledge, leading to the discovery of Knight Worlds. These worlds, ruled by aristocratic nobles, welcomed the Tech-priests as saviors. The Tech-priests traded with these worlds, providing technical expertise and rebuilding assistance in exchange for manpower and security against enemies like Orks and Eldar Exodites.
Knight Worlds flourished under the wing of Forge Worlds, with the Tech-priests and Knights becoming mutually dependent. Each Forge World became the hub of an empire consisting of the Forge World and its surrounding Knight Worlds. The Knights learned much from the Tech-priests, transforming their societies into technically sophisticated cultures.
Knight Worlds operate under a strict feudal system, typically sworn to either the Adeptus Terra or Adeptus Mechanicus. Each world is led by Knight Houses, made up of Nobles who pilot Knight suits into battle. To become a Knight Pilot, one must undergo the Ritual of Becoming. Knight Houses sworn to the Adeptus Terra are led by a High Monarch, with Barons ruling fiefs of territory. Knight Houses sworn to the Adeptus Mechanicus often accompany the Collegia Titanica or defend key Forge Worlds.
Knight armour comes in various forms, with common types being the Knight Paladin and Knight Errant, both using the same basic body form but fitted with different weapons arrays. All Imperial Knights are protected by thick adamantium armour and Ion Shields. Other types of Knight armour include the Crusader, Castellan, and Lancer, each suited for specific roles in warfare.
The types of Knights include the Questoris Pattern, Cerastus Pattern, Dominus Pattern, Acastus Pattern, and Armiger Pattern, each with unique characteristics and weaponry. Some Knights, known as Freeblade Knights, do not owe allegiance to any House and wander the galaxy independently.
Knight Houses are classified by Household Grade, a rating used to classify the size of a Knight House by the number of operational Knights. The Household Grade ranges from Primus Belicosa, denoting a high number of knights, to Tertius Grade households with fewer knights.
In this video I try to cover all the comprehensive details of the Imperial Knights, including their history, society, types of Knights, Knight armour, and notable Knight Scions. It provides an in-depth look into the world of Imperial Knights, their role in the Warhammer 40k universe, and their significance in the lore and gameplay. While also having a dash of humor whenever possible.

Isyander reached into a dark part of my childhood with the etiquette talk, remember no elbows on the table.
As the UA-cam profile of a napoleonic era Warship with 140 cannons and 4 gundecks, i of course wish to see the imperial mavy in the next episode.
My ship is infested with daemons. Chaos troops are on every deck. The tech priests are overloading the warp engines. We will destroy the ship and take the enemy with us. It is better to die for the Emperor than to live for yourself.
@@jackuellee waste of a perfectly good warship, but i respect the hustle.
Mine is a lizard balancing a pea on its nose but I don't think they're making a vegan lizardmen episode anytime soon
@@nogo6880 they sorta did a while ago, It was a subsection of one of the Tau videos.
Also, this is a Roleplay Account, I am the Neutra Senorá De La Santisima Trinidad, the Largest Warship of the Age of Sail. You are a Lad named No Go who just happens to have a profile picture. We are not the same.
Did, did a UA-cam bot just sas a gecko? Or is this mofo real!?
Watching Isyander go through all five stages of grief while Koda attempts to explain The Santa Clause to him cured my depression
For those who don't wish to upset the nice amount of likes.
@@ericwolf9664 heh heh.....nice
So these knights are like Voltron’s, it comes down from space, kicks bad guys but while theme music is blaring, and the natives are supposed to be grateful

The Imperial Knight novel is called, KingsBlade, by Andy Clark. The young Knight pilot was the main character, Danial Tan Draconis (Prince of House Draconis).
Thanks, I really wana to get this book now
My vote is again with the Imperial Navy!!! Singing shanties while glassing a planet from an emperor class battleship!!!!
Aye fellow 'Rating' for the Emperor!
Ramming ships with a sword class frigate, like a civilized sentient should
Not unless you somehow make it on the bridge...everyone else is press ganged aboard, assigned to a gun/engine crew, never to see your homeworld again, and doomed to die in combat...if you're lucky
I wanna hear about how surely there would be humans on those ships who would be completely unaware that there exists anything beyond the walls of their ship, like they’re probably not enlightened to the fact that they are on a starship or what one even is.
Dark eldar
Isyander: "I haven't seen 'The Santa Clause.'"
Koda: "I know what we're doing later."
My vote is for Drukhari just so we can weird out Koda.
I'm glad to see Koda back after his convalescence.
Navy and the eldar the pretentious ones not the boring ones
that doesn't narrow it down, Imperial Navy ftw btw.
Ye which one?
You know how little that narrows it down?
There are *non* pretentious elves?
@@CasualNormie well there's the exodites but no one ever remembers the exodites
wait, WHAT!? a Emperor aligned demon Knight that is slaughtering Tau? why is this the first i'm hearing of this?
First I’ve heard of it, too.
Wait what.
There is no shortage of channels which talk of Warhammer 40k's lore and I'm so here for it. I love how passionate this community is and how eager everyone is to share what they know. Lord knows it helps a newbie like me. Its thanks to channels such as this that I know anything at all about Warhammer 40k. So thank you, Isyander and Koda! I'm learning so much from listening to your podcast!
To honour the battle-hardened members of Battlefleet Gothic, I cast my vote for the Imperial Navy.
Navy 😂🎉 attached to Ultramarines: "It 's fun to charter an accountant
And sail the wild accountancy
To find, explore, the funds offshore
And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy"
Wanna say Space Elves…but as a naval guy, I gotta vote for my Imperial Navy Gang
You mentioned the drop keeps and those are great, now I want to hear yall do Titans and their drop ships so big, knights walk around them on knight sized defensive battlements!
I really really want drop keeps to become a unit on the tabletop. Slam this thing down, a 1 medium or 3 small knight hop out as a deepstrike option.
Also, let's see an episode for the navy and hopefully it'll also include the aeronautica!
Imperial Navy would be cool to learn about.
I would 100% watch a 2 hour episode, also voting for Navy
I’m just imagining a booming regal song like “Zadock the Priest” playing while a giant gothic castle orbital drops in front of bewildered, horrified barbarians. How could you not immediately pledge undying fealty to the Knights as a peasant after seeing this? 😂
I think that one of you're guys greatest traits is that you stay humble and I genuinely hope you keep that. HOWEVER! you guys should already be over 250k and on your way to 500k! Lets GO! I hope you guys get all the subs, likes, and views you deserve which I hope is in the millions and I genuinely hope that if you guys read this it makes you smile, keep up the great work you guys singlehandedly got me addicted to Warhammer 40k.Thank you 😁
I would love to hear more about the Navy. The Breachers Kill Team is my first fully painted squad!
Knights are awesome. The book assassinorum: kingmaker sheads some really good light on how knights work and the complexity of ruling a knight world.
Have watched you guys from the beginning… was lucky enough to have y’all show up in the recommended/you might like algorithm after your second video. So glad the robot gods did in fact process that action because you guys are my favorite channel, no other comes within a chainsword’s length. Keep up the great content, thanks dudes
It's so good seeing the massive leap in production quality, you guys are the best and keep up the amazing work!
Okay guys am I the only one that loved that edit where Lysander rambles and they had all his words run into each other or is it just me
"If the Adeptus Astartes are the Emperor's wrath, and the Imperial Guard His hammer, then His Holy Navy is His mighty shield." Cardinal Kregory Hestor. Straight from the wiki, hope to see a Navy episode
Arent the grey knights the hammer? I taught the guard was the shield and the inquisition its eyes
I think the Guard are the hammer, there was even an omnibus called "Hammer of the Emperor" that was a collection of Guard novels @@gsst6389
Also as a side note I want to again mention that Quote is in no way mine, its ripped straight from the wiki on the Imperial Navy
@@relaga3 well the wiki is written by random intelectal people so that might be there intrepetation from wherever they heard that saying from
I would love to see y’all cover the tenuous at *best* link between 40k and Dark Future, the GW vehicular combat tabletop that they tried to breathe new life into a few years back.
Amazing stuff as always and can't wait for the next one, and my vote is to the Navy this time.
I'm voting Navy as I've heard the least about them for some reason, but Eldar world be cool to
We are the defenders of humanity. We are the Emperor blazing sword and the imperium crushing fist. Hundreds of billions hands ready to die for our mission in the cold unforgiving space. We are the Imperial Navy
Isyander's hype at 39:45 at how extra the Knights are gives me LIFE.
On the note of the scale of titans, I just wish to remind everyone of the fact that GW declared that if you want a tabletop model for an Imperator titan (largest class), you should just make a cosplay with one of your friends and have them stand on top of the table for you.
I know Eric's Hobby Workshop is working on a Titan at scale and it came out around 7 feet tall, and he's been working on it for over a year I believe.
It's an Imperator-class titan he is making, isn't it? (The largest size)
@@MegaGullas Indeed it is. He figured the scale based off pictures and a description from a book that talks about how big the control chamber is, and how the eyes are used as windows, so he was able to extrapolate from that.
I want to see a knight house somehow have a surviving intact copy of the heroes album of Sabaton and just blaring that over their speakers. Could you just imagine one of these knights charging at you with Bismarck playing?
Now I picture the breaker of chains free blade blasting primo Victoria and the smoking snakes while it does a drop pod in to free a iron warrior controlled world.
I know sabaton is better suited for the grimdark vibes but when I imagine a surviving album I think something like the the sign by ace of base. Just them obliterating hordes of Orks while „I saw the sun, and it opened up my eyes…“ is blaring in the background. They are just like „ahh yes the emperors light will blind this scum like the sun.“ 😂
@@DanielGutierrez-jr5vg that’s old school first edition you’re thinking of. “God was never on your side” and kingdom of the worm” also all work for that
I still want a custodes episode or a Horus Lupercal one
Yes, Custodes would be great.
Horus should be their last video. Literally cover all of warhammer and then talk about the dude who sent the galaxy into a spiral. Would be funny
God, Koda... you bringing up titanfall 2 constantly makes my nerd brain super SUPER happy.
Imperial Navy, Btw as you hear about the size comparison keep in mind those are the ones who have entire city's on there back as Titans, Sly Marbo was to have been able to bring down a imperator Titan, by himself.
Navy has my vote. Sword of the Emperor and crushing fist of the Imperium.
Imperial navy every day baby!!
-Drop keep hits the ground
-free bird guitar solo begins
I found yall by accident, and i have never been happier to hear different two different voices. The contrast is perfect and i can genuinely pay attention
Give me that Imperial Navy! I dont even care if you dont cover the people on the ships, they just look cool, I could spend an hour listening to how they worked!
When you do the Eldar video, I hope you touch on all their gods, because finding good videos about the gods is a pain in my ass
Pancreas No Work is my guy for quality Eldar stuff.
i second that would be amazing to see more quality videos about the Eldar
I would love to see some aeldar appreciation. Kinda feels weird how "THE GUYS" of the galaxy for dozens of millions of years barely get any attention in the story.
That's because GW only gives them frame work attention
As much as I like the idea of a navy episode,I want the Eldar to get an episode.
+1 Regular Eldar vote
Taking valuable time out of my day to stroke the algorithm for you. Keep up the good work. You guys are awesome
*Looks at the eldar falling into the pits, as i hold my precious Abhumans*
the inquisition demands your location. you are being saved do not resist
FOR THE NAVY
In the navy you can sail the seven seas in the navy!
Dark Eldar. Love you guys, and the way you explain 40k.
Thanks for the video. I'm now imagining a knight gliding around to James Brown's "Get up off of that thing"
Imperial Navy!!!! Let's keep those knife ears away from this great podcast!!! Praise the Master of mankind!!! Also does anyone know what the mech saint Celestine is!!!
Let the navy conquer the next episode and sing with pride(and in costume) to the sound of the vilage people
Seeing a Knight take out a Chaos Titan would be a pretty epic legend
Binged all episodes in bout a month now :) love it i wish it were more than 1/week but i understand its alot of work and research
Im gonna cast my vote for the Navy
Rahhhhhh! More Isyander and Koda!!! Idc what wins lmaooo
Incredible work!
I love watching your videos. Learning more about warhammer40k this way is so much fun.
Let's go Imperial Navy!!
Let's gooooo
Thank you guys for doing everything y'all do🙂👍
btw my vote is the imperial navy
We are the defenders of humanity. We are the Emperor blazing sword and the imperium crushing fist. Hundreds of billions hands ready to die for our mission in the cold unforgiving space. We are the Imperial Navy
Oh and THANK YOU for your hard work and time.
I build a duo of Knight Armigers earlier this year and they are a lot of fun to design and modify to what you want. Especially freeblade knights are awesome.
I love the vibe of the tyrannids, I would love any new episodes on them like their fleets or the tyrannic wars, or maybe something else like that. I'm new to 40k (legit seeing your shorts got me into your videos, your videos got me into 40k), don't know any other tyranid keywords.
Let the gates open, the reivers sail and the elder come for us all!
One of the very few channels I’ll sit all the way through an hour video for. Love you guys! Keep on keepin on!
Imperial navy ftw win
So hyped for the march to 250k
I remember subbing when i found you guys on tiktok and the channel was less than 1k subs and you guys have gained more than 100x that in what 9 months its insane
Im sure you guys will hit 250k in no time
Isyander is the only other person who I’ve ever heard of who also got sent to etiquette classes/camp. Tbh it’s fun knowledge to just offhand. Whenever I feel petty but can’t say anything I can express myself even if no one knows it.
In the Navy is where my vote will lie
IMPERIAL NAVY!!!!
My vote is as it was initially presented in the given order: Imperial Navy, Alderi and then the Drukari.
We all know how it's going to be presented by Isyander and the Wait! Wtf!?'s from Koda. The Imperial Navy from Isyander will have some refreshing and new takes that'll be good to take in. I have a feeling Isyander's take on the Aldari will be rooted well in previous codexes as GW has had the Aldari on a gods forsaken back burner for years now lore and tabletopwise.
When you described the knight landing like the emperor's fist, I had a cinematic pop into my head:
A massive detached rocket fist lands in the field as if punching the land; palm towards the town. Instead of an arm, the wrist-back is a rook-like tower. As the smoke clears, the tower begins playing heraldric music and pompous declarations on massive speakers.
Then, the tower opens up; first literally to reveal guns concealed for the drop and then metaphorically.
The raiders that aren't immediately shredded flee in panic. As they run, the knight begins to introduce himself and the fist moves; the index and pinkie fingers shift palm-ward then swing dorsally. The shock absorbers on those fingers' proximal phalanges shift into pauldrons. The distal phalanges split to reveal robotic hands protected by fingernail hand-guards before they plant into the ground.
The whole structure tips forward as the middle and ring fingers reveal themselves to be massive robotic legs; their shock absorbers shift downward to become knee guards.
As the knight rises from the ground, the thumb swings to the side, revealing itself to be a massive cannon. Finally, the dorsal armor of the hand splits down the middle and reveals the knight's cockpit.
The pilot finishes his overlylong title as the knight finishes transforming then fires the big fucking thumb-gun.
I don't know if that's too on the nose for even warhammer, but I thought it was cool.
Yes yes, excellent work as always. Sooooo.... Dark Angels deep dive, yes? Fallen get purged, yes?
Seriously though, I've been super excited for this episode. Thanks for how much depth and work y'all put into these.
For The Lion for The Caliban And fro Emperor Dark Angels Advance
You guys are awesome
Voting again for the Drukharii!! I really wanna see y'all delve into the Copium faction!
😶 *levels heavy flammer* 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved the quality of video for this episode, dont know if they changed anything but it looked crisp to me.
Day Zeta of asking for the Adeptus Costudes. Standing Vigilant for their position
Ciaphas Cain Episode we need it
Agreed
Imperial navy
Imperial Navy!! I haven't seen any videos myself on them and I love the way you guys portray information 😊
Imperial Knight: Freeblade is a Knight game and it's pretty cool actually
These episodes are so fun to watch, thank you so much!
Have you heard landsknecht songs? Knights would be coming out of the keep to the tune of Friderikus Rex. And I vote for the Eldar video
Putting another vote for the dark eldar cause I will continue to wonder how you'll talk about them on UA-cam. Love the content guys!
One of my favorite medias that does the juxtaposition thing is Lies of P.
I love the old 1920's aesthetic combined with amazing scifi robots!
in the navy you can sail the warp in the navy you can set the navigators mind at ease in the navy they want you they want they want you as a new recruit
Glory to the Imperial Navy!
The knights in space comment reminded me of something. Id love Iysander and Koda's opinions on how warframes would do if thrown into the warhammer 40k universe.
Gosh you cant just tease the titans like this. They have to be on the next bloq of voting now!!
Hell yeah. Imperial navy, pls.
Can't tell if it's better lighting or you two got a new camera, but this vid looks way better. Good job, keep at it.
Dropkeep drops; Kickstart my Heart starts playing
What's great is that Knights are also a skill/flexibility check for other armies. They can kill just about anything, but they can only be killed by very specific types of things, and a lot of people that only play meta shit or they only fixate on one type of unit or tactic, so when heavy war machines like that show up, and they've got an army of Space Marines because lets be honest, there's like a 90% chance of that, there's a high chance they don't actually have anything that can kill your knights except for *maybe* a tank, MAYBE they have an Astraeus, but most likely, they don't. As a result, you can have a 2,000 point army with _three_ knights, and just sweep more often than not. Then you become known as the player who brings Knights to every game...and then you bring an Eldar Scorpion tank with Fire Prisms to back it up as an ultra fast hit and fade with ultra long range weapons to the next match and nobody has a fucking clue what to do with all that heavy anti-vehicle shit they brought now that you've effectively gaslit them into thinking they're prepared for your tactical acumen.
Eldar Please!
Firstly, I'm voting for the Navy to learn more about something I'm unfamiliar with in 40k.
Secondly, id like to make an admech set inspired by you guys, and would like to know what colors would fit best.
the titans rushing out with phonk as the soundtrack is a hilarious visual
I love this show and how they break it all down
The Imperial Navy is something I would like to hear about
I still want to see Isyander struggle to dance around the Dark Eldar's schtick for the better part of an hour. If nothing else, having to avoid the obvious demonitization issues, it'll let him focus on some of the more niche elements of them.
Oh shoot! Thr Imperial Navy has a chance!!!
IMPERIAL NAVY!!!
there was just a cyclone where I live, would love to see the imperial navy, I love your vids I've watched most of them multiple times
