I bought one of my property a year back in Milnerton and today it has increased to R50 000 more in market value so investing in Cape Town is not that bad. I'm in Cape Town the trick here is having good knowledge of the suburbs in Cape Town individually as certain claster of people live in certain suburbs and a certain popularly work in certain suburbs.

Ek kan sien hoe mens jou wealth “groei” deur n slegte property te koop, werk te doen en dan te Refinance vir heelwat meer as wat die Renovations gekos het, maar in my ervaring kan mens nie rerig daai geld uitvat omdat die huurinkomste nie so hoog is oor die algemeen. I buy, renovate and sell property and have been doing this in my own name. If a property is in a trust and I sell it, is the process exactly the same? By this I mean, does it take the same time frame to register in the new owners name? are there additional costs? When purchasing , what documents is required etc?
No need to be anxious, you’ve done very well for yourself! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Also, the costs of setting up and administering these structures sometimes outweigh the benefits. I have done the calculations and for me it made no sense to use these other structures. If however you want to move your properties into a company/trust structure you can always do it at a later stage, at an additional cost obviously…

The process is exactly the same as for the transfer cost. Just keep in mind the capital gains factor, it is different with trusts and company.
