Why even pay for a subscription to Spotify when you can stream music for free? I think even Deadmau5 would agree that pirating his music would be better than paying Spotify to F him over. I swear, our own stupidity is why we end up making these monsters rich, you don’t need Spotify. Wanting Spotify only screws the artist you falsely believe you’re supporting.

If you think about, it actually makes sense that the spotify CEO would make more money than any musician ever has from their original music. I whish platforms would pay me more per stream.
That’s why they’re rich. Because they’re NOT paying you more per stream. A billion dollars must just be a word to you. Would take you 30 years just to count to one billion and that’s without stopping or taking any breaks just to put it into perspective.
it's also hard to move away from spotify when you've built up your own personal catelog of music on the platform over the last several years. But things do need to change and I'm curious to see where all of this goes
It could be meant to earn a living but the ceo believes that he deserves a 4 billion dollar salary which eats into everyone else’s hard work creations. There’s absolutely no reason to even be giving them our work just so they can rip us all off. It’s a lost cause since you can’t even take your own music off their platform. This is pure greed and corruption at work.
