Caring for a One-legged Chicken

Poor Pogo is missing a leg due to an injury. Thankfully, I was able to save her and let her convalesce until her nubbin healed over. She's still figuring things out, but I think she's doing great! For now, I transport her to the water and food when I can, and make sure I deliver scratch to her, while the rest of the flock searches for their own!

Woke up yesterday morning to my 4 week old chick missing its leg. I made the decision to not put it down since it keeps up with the others and our hen all fine and still eats and drinks, he just takes more breaks than the others. It devastated me so this gives me so much hope.
