been using adobe suite for a few years and blender for a few years and been trying to learn AR recently. Just started using Aero today and honestly this video was the most useful thing i could stumble upon right now at this point. Thank you for making it so thorough and easy to understand, such a helpful watch!
Wonderful tutorial ! Thank you for sharing it with us! But I have a question... What is the process I have to follow to show my visual to other phone users or other devices. What do users need to do to see it and what do I need to prepare to direct them. I mean, AERO gives a QRcode which I haven't figured out exactly what it does. I know that I use it to go into the app and place the visual in the space, but how does the user see it? Can you help me please? I hope I have given you an understanding of what I mean... !Greetings from sunny Athens, Greece! 😎
Is it possible, using the same workflow and apps thats you used on this tutorial, but simulate or view the result on desktop? PC or Mac? How I make that?
Hey - Just following along with your tutorial and I noticed when I set my info box to move after the artwork is tapped it does BUT if I tap the artwork again it moves again and so on. Can this be set to move once only to the reveal position? Thanks :)
Hi Kim, fantastic tutorial! Could you please share how did you record your iPad screen and any suggestions on how to present such project in the UX portfolio?
Hi Masha! You can record from ios devices if you add it to your quick menu or here from adobe aero - helpx.adobe.com/lt/aero/using/share-ar-creations.html One of the thing s you can consider doing for a UX portfolio is using gifs to show the animation, a recording of your walkthrough - these are some ways to show the interactions occur!
@@KimAlban thank you, Kim! Btw I followed your tutorial and found that Aero struggles to recognize vertical surfaces. It takes a very long time and then it suggests the mesh in some odd place. With horizontal, it seemed not to have this problem. Did you experience that too?
Figma is fine to use to replace adobe xd - i just used adobe xd in case i needed to make updates to the design they would then get updated in aero also immediately
Great tutorial! Is there a way to tap the art piece so the info card appears/disappears in a specified location vs having to hide it behind the art piece? Your method is perfect for an object against a wall, but if the object is three dimensional, a user could walk around it and see the hidden info card. Any tips to create the same effect you showed, but with a 3D object?
great question! I'd say choose a floor anchor, drop your 3d asset and if your goal is to have the card appear upon touching the 3d object then you can just repeat the steps here but move the card elsewhere or make it "grow." none the less --your idea is doable and i'd try it out with some of the assets in adobe aero!
Amazing tutorial thanks, I was wondering if it would also be possible to use it in other apps or we would need to see the AR exclusively on Adobe aero ?
@@KimAlban how can we provide the link from the desktop adobe aero? so it means currently we can't just scan the image from the camera? have to use the apps to scan?
@@KimAlban please make an adobe aero interface tutorial cuz there is a lack of tutorials that explains adobe aero interface and each thing u can do with aero
Thank you for sharing these great tutorials and helping many people. Please make more videos like this.

hello, thank you for a great tutorial. one question tho, IF I use Figma instead of Adobe, will it work? 🤔

this was great!!! this answered so many questions!!
Yay glad to have helped!!

Through Figma 🙌🏼

currently you can provide anyone a link from your desktop adobe aero file for people to view your ar concept!
that is the current drawback of adobe aero --- BUT not a drawback for webAR!

@@imteafunny yes the other user will need the aero app essentially
