Thanks for joining us for this little peek into the other side of our full-time RV lives! We always appreciate you watching and look forward to your comments. See you Wednesday!
After watching all of your videos, I can truthfully say that you 2 are one heck of a match! Seems both of you are always on the same page when presenting information, describing your Vlogs, and making suggestions. Both of you are extremely blessed to be together! One heckava RV team! Hope to meet yall at an RV park one day soon!
Our first night of full-timing, we spent the night in the Cummins Parking Lot in Jacksonville, FL. We've affectionately call it Camp Cummins. We met 2 other couples in the parking lot that night, and we're still friends to date. I was also equally impressed with Cummings Jacksonville. But I still have a lump in my throat after our $1400 annual service. I agree, they are awesome, but expensive, but wotrth it in the end.
We agree. It is a little expensive compared to work we’ve had done at dealerships, but we feel good about the work Cummins does. We’re confident in their service, so it’s worth it to us.
Oh I remember going to the Houston Zoo as a kid. We would have picnics in Herman Park. As a young adult enjoyed watching the Houston Symphony and movies at the pavilion there. Haven't been in years. I knew one of the mayors of Tomball and that is only 10 miles from where I live. There is a place there that has the best quiche around. I truly enjoyed this video. Thanks but most of all safe travels. See ya Wednesday.
Glad you got to show "the other side" People don't understand that even though you live a "romantic life" you still have to grocery shop, do laundry, cleaning and all the mundane things in life. Glad you got to have some fun too. Happy travels.
Looks like you guys had a great time ! And got lots of things done ! That's the way to do it.. Enjoy yourselves and safe travels forever...... don Trying to catch up with your videos, I am a little behind, but I will get there.
Thanks for bringing us along. You guys got a lot done in this video. Whew! Good job! That's great that Cummins shop lets you bring your fur baby. Very nice. That's also really cool that you can stay the night if needed. I'm sure your happy though that you didn't have to. LOL! I know I've said it before, but your rig is beautiful. We hope to do full body paint on our future upgrade. (if we can afford it that is). What a cool Zoo! Thank you sharing your visit with the animals. Will definitely have to check it out. Fun times at the German Festival. Looks like a great day of food and friends. Peace & Love! Have a Glamtastic Day! 👍😀🌈🤪🌈😎🌈😍
Hey guys! Thank you so much. We really got lucky finding this rig! The guys at the Cummins shop in Houston are always top notch. We feel good about the service we get there. Y’all would love the Houston Zoo & the German Festival. Both very fun. Have a great week!
Thank you for showing the less-glamorous side of full-time RVing. We've loved seeing the changes to the Houston Zoo - it's almost a completely different zoo from what it was in the 70s and 80s!
Amazing video! Lots of fun! Thanks for taking us. It's been years since I have been to the zoo, time to take the grandbabies. Need to go visit Shasta! LOL Have a great week and I can't wait to Wing it with y'all Wednesday!!
Great video! Thank you for taking us along with you on your day of errands and events. Glad that I didn't have to do the Houston driving. Lol. Have a great day!
Talk about a German Festival, I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. Me and my brother immigrated to the U.S. in the late 50's. Finally ending up in Texas City, Texas. I moved out of my adopted parents house after college in 1975/6 and moved to Houston.
Great video. Our journey parallels in many ways. Our travels are based on family and friends most of all so far. When we were weekend warriors our trips were 80% activities and 20% real life, and now it seems to be flipped - 50-50 at best. Many channels never seem to address this. It is not all butterflies and rainbows, lol. Safe travels!
Hi you two, Yours was an engine recall? I'd be real interested to hear more about the recall and the general engine maintenance issues you stay on top of if you wouldn't mind doing a video around it. Great video. Keep up the good work
Hi Tim. This was a recall on the air compressor/air brake system that is attached to the engine. Thanks for the suggestion on the maintenance video. We’ll try to work on that in the future.
You always share such interesting information about the places you visit. My father’s family immigrated to the U.S. from Germany through Texas, so I loved Germanfest. 😊👍🏻 And watching this episode has convinced me that having a toad is a must. I was torn but I like the idea of being able to run about on errands, etc. without the motorhome. I am turning in my retirement letter Monday and retiring August 1, 2020. Hope to see you on the road! 😀
Really enjoyed the video guys! Houston traffic, what can you say. Interesting about the Houston Zoo, I’ve never been but the Dallas Zoo also went from city-owner to NFP and since that it’s really great. Safe travels, looking forward to more videos!
RV Texas Y'all I cant believe in the 20000 times I’ve been to Houston I’ve never been. I love Houston, all of Texas really but I think because I adore going to NASA and my cousin lives in Galveston so we are always down there or in Brookshire where my other cousin lives.
Just thought I would let you know that I'll be in Houston in May 2020. If your in the area let me know, I would love to meet you both. I'll give you some tips on Australia (I've lived here for (by 2020) 15 years. Of course I lived in Houston area for over 40 years. I left Houston in 2005 to marry my beautiful wife Lourdes in Melbourne Australia.
@@rvamericayall thank you, I always used a Mobile Lube guy that Services the Heavy Duty Construction Equipment in our city. For me to have everything done for a 400hp Cummins and Generator as well as all fluids and grease would cost around $450. I love the Idea they would come to me . Thanks again, love ya all
Thank you!!! My in-laws live near Highway 6. We are from Houston but currently living in Okinawa, Japan. My husband is retired and I work. We are looking to go part time/Full Time in the summer months for the time being. We have teenagers and will probably continue to reside overseas for the next five years. We are looking at purchasing a RV this summer as we are former pop-up owners.

Stacie's cousin was born in Mannheim, Germany.
Me and Lourdes were in Mannheim 2 years ago! It was part of our trip to Heidelberg searching for my birth mother.
Wow! Hope you had success in finding your birth mother.

LOL, I used to live in First Colony in Sugarland.
Small world! Stacie grew up in Sugar Land.
@@rvamericayall I lived there in the 90's. It was crazy then. The growth there now is insane! Thanks for making great entertaining videos.
Great video and looking forward to what is to come. Y’all are ready to leave the big city now. Safe travels and have some fun

Isn't that always the way it goes, David? It's amazing how many things we've never done in Houston and we lived there our entire lives!
Great video, looks like y’all were staying in Katy. Next time y’all out that way hit me up , me & my wife would like to meet up with y’all. Stay safe
Thanks Gary!
OMG, love Starr in the passenger seat (7:50 mark). Adorable! Good stuff. As you know, I always enjoy the "around the Houston area" stuff. :-)
Hey Teresa! Star always cracks us up. She is quite the character. We'll have more to come from Houston. Stay tuned! :)
Hey you two, when you talk to your dog and ask him a question, it would be hilarious if you dubbed in a speaking response from the dog. :)
Lol! Great idea! 😂
You guys are very busy while in Houston.
Yes we were, David. 😁 Hope things are great with you.
houston my hometown.. grew up in Alief

That would be awesome Gregory! We hope to see you next year!
Hi you guys, what was the recall ? Also, How much for the Oil Change for the GEN and The Mtr.? Thanks ?
Hi Doug. The recall was on the air braking system. All of the preventative maintenance on the engine & generator was around $1000.
DougD if it was me I would do it my self and make sure it's done rite and save about 700 hundred bucks
@@rvamericayall thank you, I always used a Mobile Lube guy that Services the Heavy Duty Construction Equipment in our city. That’s awesome Doug! And so convenient!
I am just curious to which Baseball team you love? :).
Hard to tell, isn’t it? 😂 Go Astros! 😁
What RV Park do you all stay in while you are visiting the Houston area?
Hi Temirra! We've stayed in several RV parks around Houston including All Star, Highway 6, Rayford Crossing and Katy Lake.
