Thanks, Chris. I just got my C1 yesterday from Bobby (I got a whale thank you note too). I have Diamine Bilberry and LOVE that ink. I have it in my Kaigelu 316. I received the purple section C1 as well and decided to put my Noodler's North African Violet in the pen as it is a bit more purple than Bilberry. My Moonman C1 fine nib was just as smooth and wonderful as yours. However, I asked Bobby to add a medium nib to my order and after doing some writing with the fine nib, I swapped it for the medium as I don't do well with the fine. Although I miss the half moon breather hole and the cool mountain shape design of the Moonman nib, the medium nib did the trick for me. The nib was relatively easy to remove. The nib assembly unscrews and the nib is a simple friction fit. I agree with your rating 100%. The quality of manufacture is obvious. The acrylic is clear and substantial and the machining is excellent. The flatted side is a really nice feature. I like this better than my two Moonman M2's. I am waiting for an M6 and a M600S (teal) which should both be here in a few days.
I 've had some challenges with the Chinese M nibs, some are soft & wet, others skip, need the right feed. Glad to hear works in the C1.. My M600S will be here in a few weeks. Has a Moonman nib. Nib looks like the two-tone in the M6. I'm excited about it as the M600 is a great pen. Material is Acetate, will look different than original checkerboard, which I love.
I too just received my Moonman C1. The first nib, expensive or more affordable that I have not had to adjust in any way. To me the nib is everything, but I also love the pen itself; very attractive, fits my hand and a pleasure to look at. Thanks Moonman!
Dean Martin - your comment is hysterical! I hear you regarding buying and buying pens! It's an addiction. It's hard to resist them because so many of them are absolutely gorgeous. This one being one of them.
Lead us not into temptation.... I just ordered the wood Moonman pen, now I want the C1 as well. I can see a day when your rating system might have to go as high as 11 or 12. At this rate we are getting very near hitting the 10 out of 10 score. I like that ink as well. Those little Diamine 30ml bottles are great value, especially here in the UK.
As soon as I saw this video I had to get one. (I was too late to the party for getting a Lecai n now cant find em anywhere). I inked it up with Noodlers Blue and the nib it came with is great-consistent and very smooth. I was pretty surprised. I think it would be awesome for most people. But I like my broads so I eventually swapped it out for a Goulet Black Nib. And after I did a little tuning, now its a Smexy glassy smooth firehose...but I love it even more now. >shhhhhh!< dont tell my TWSBI Vac Mini that I have a new best pen! So, thank you very much for your video. (really all of your videos) b/c I have been waiting awhile for a pen just like this.
Keep coming back to your videos as they are very informative, thank you for that. Where can one purchase replacement O rings of different sizes for fountain pens? Thanks in advance Mr. C.R.
I just ordered mine on AliExpress, I'm stoked! It's my first eyedropper and my second pen from Moonman/Majohn, the first being the S3 in the gorgeous pink/light turquoise/sky blue marble (?) design. Sadly, the EF nib that came with it is rather scratchy and needs work. Hopefully, I'll be more lucky with my C1. Thank you for all the wonderful reviews!
really love this pen - reminds me so much of the Shinobi by Sean Newton - a lovely pen indeed but out of my price unfortunately. There are differences, but minor. It's a real tribute to Sean's professionalism and the quality of his design and craftsmanship, but I wonder how I would feel in Sean's shoes. I hope he can see it as a tribute. I also hope that his market won't be hit by the issue of this pen. I've ordered one - mainly because when I ordered my M1, I missed the initial version which had flat ends! The news that the C1 has the Sean-Newton flat side to stop it rolling off the ledge is a bonus for me. And standing up on its toe! .. I died and ended up the place I don't deserve to be! I might have to get a small army of these and perform manoeuvres! Thanks for a great review - and, yes, I like the colour of your section too 😍
I felt exactly the same way you did! I loved the pens shape simply because it reminded me of Sean's Shinobi. While this pen may be a similar design for a lower price, and it may or may not detract from the sales. I don't think the Moonman C1 can truly capture the premium and careful handmade design of Sean's custom work.
Your detailed review of the C1 and the Mr. Draws review are true and real reviews on it and I'm very recognised of both performs, previous to my purchase.
Thanks for the review. Don't know if you saw that Moonman recommends not filling absolutely full, but to leave 5-10mm space at the top. I guess to prevent burps. For me, this design also strongly resembles the PenBBS 471 when it's set up for writing. Love that you can stand the pen on end. Re: the tagline, the Chinese is about the "warmth" of the writing experience but somehow it got turned into temperature.
Thanks for clarifying. In my experience burping happens from air expansion in the ink chamber, like when ED almost empty. No air, no burping. My guess is that if you overfill chamber, ink could squirt out when screwing on the section.
Great pen. I was between this and the M6, but I will probably go with this, due to the huge ink capacity, as I write a lot. My only concern is the cap, as on my M2 it cracked after 7 months of use. Porbably tightening it a bit more than what is generally suggested was the cause.
Very nice pen. A soft plastic pipette cut down a bit to fit a short stainless needle is very satisfactory. When you put it in the ink bottle it's completely controllable. None of the ink sticks to the inside of the pipette which is left squeaky (so I don't repeat completely), clean as the ink is squeezed out of it. Any remaining ink can be puffed back Into the bottle. So good that I mostly remove a converter and fill it this way rather than dunk the nib in the ink bottle.
Thank you Chris for your honest reviews. You always review budget pens that creates interest to pick up pen collection as a hobby. I would like to know if the Moonman C1 would take a Jowo #6 nib.
Great review, Chris! Thanks. I have an Opus 88 Coloro demonstrator, which I just love, with s B Steelers #6 nib. How do you think the Moon man C1 compares aside from the much cheaper cost?
I do not have any Opus 88. Maybe never will. Yes, made well & look great. My focus is Fine Writing. Can't have every pen. That being said, I find the be equal to other pens I've used. If you like it, get one.
Great video! I'm looking at one on Amazon. Can you tell me how well the pen stays "ready" to write? I have several pens that have nib-dry after a couple of days of non use, and one that drys overnight. I now avoid using those pens, and op for my ready writers. thanks for any thoughts on that.
Mine writes first time every time, after a week setting nib up. Cap seals well. Just got another on eBay for $18 delivered. Section more red than my first. Enjoy.
Aesthetic design and thoughtful in the inclusion of a converter. From other pens, the eye-dropper is appealing but practical if one does not need to hold the pen pointing down for more than two minutes; longer and the progressive transfer of heat from the hand into the (incrementing) air compartment above the ink inevitably results is dripping. Midway between eye-dropper and standard converter is perhaps a long cartridge (such as Parker's or Waterman's) re-filled with the syringe. Thank you for the demonstration.
@@chrisrap52 Thank you Chris. "Cold hands warm heart" - compliment. You would have tried more pens than I have and I expect the exaggerated temperature gradient is more from my hands - or low ambient.
Hello Chris thank you so much for a very informative review and trust all is well. Is a nib-swap on this pen as simple as unscrewing it or requires some particular attention? I am about to place an order for a C1 and considering a couple of alternate nibs. Always learning from you, thank you and regards.
Awesome review, as always :) Question: does the converter remind you of Monteverde mini converter? Also, are you planning to do a review on the 355 in Amber?
Nice review. This one and the M6 are both among the most interesting releases this year. By the way, did you see the teaser photos for PenBBS's upcoming 352 model? Looks like a flat-top acrylic C/C pen with 380-style clip.
Thank you, Chris. This pen looks fascinating to me. If I want to put a better nib on it, do you have a suggestion? I am “new” (or reintroduced, after many years) to fountain pens.
@@chrisrap52 I have a smallish handwriting, but I want something expressive and good for smallish lettering. This nib may be perfect; maybe I will try it before deciding if I need a finer nib or a stub. :) Thank you.
Generally, a finer nib works better for smallish writing. Would not use a typical 1.1mmm stub. Nemosine made a 0.6 stub that was nice & could work. I suggest a fine italic or architect nib to have some line variation.
Chris, another great review of a splendid new Chinese pen. I’m on the verge of ordering for the C1 with the red section. So, I decided to check if you did something on it before buying it. Alas, I’ll only get the default F nib. But your review here reassured me that I’ll be getting an ace #6 nib. Smooth and wet on a Chinese fine. What more can I ask for? Just one question, though, Chris, is it absolutely necessary to use the silicone grease if I want to eyedrop a fill it (which I will)? How much did it cost you?
No absolutely necessary. Just some insurance. I use it to deal & also lubricate. My last C1 cost $16.50 USD. Check your local hardware or diving stores for pure silicone grease. Should be able to get some for a few dollars. Must only use pure silicone grease.
chrisrap52 ...Thanks, bud for the reply. I haven’t had the SG for a while. I’ll have to get some soon. I only have a few eyesdrop-filled pens. And the C1 is screaming to be filled that way. It would be a minor crime to not eyedrop it full barrel. I have the C2 which is great. But I have a feeling the C1 will be even better. Your review here and by the appearance of things, I can’t wait to try that nib with, say, Diamine Red Dragon. The Caliarts Ego’s nib was such a let-down, despite the pen being very nice all round.
Great review and I love that pen! I've looked on eBay and found that they make three colours of sections although it will not let me choose weather I want a purple, red and purple or red section. Is it just random, was yours chosen or you get what you get? Thanks!
@@failedgrace2891 Yes, random when I bought. If you want different sections email seller and ask if they will give you different colors in one order. They'll have to open the box to see what section is?
Chrisrap52 & Failed grace, thanks for your replies! I'll have to email a seller as I would like the red section. Also this pen looks identical to the Newton shinobi.
Mine has not leaked one drop. Keeping pen full of ink minimizes temperature change impact. At most you'll get ink in the cap. I would put the C1 in a sleeve to avoid scratching finish in pocket.
Thanks for this great video! Not sure about one thing: I'm seeing the nib choices online as Fine and Medium; is the #6 nib you refer to a Fine, a Medium? Thanks again!
The nib in this C1 is marked F for fine but writes more like a medium. I believe the Medium nibs offered are not Moonman nibs. I prefer the Moonman F nib.
Hey Chris I have a question. I have a C1 that I tried eyedroppering it and it just poured ink out of the nib.. I cleaned it out and put the converter back in.. any suggestions..? Thanks. Btw I got the c4 based on your review..Eileen
Dayum, 5 ml? CMIIW, but is there a bigger eyedropper capacity than this C1? Probably the Omar but I still doubt that. To give it the highest rating is such a great compliment for this pen. Will probably need a 1.1 stub / calligraphy nib for this one perhaps!
Very nice copy of the Newton Pens Shinobi, a custom pen that usually costs 10-20 times more. Incedible Also I think that you could show us whether the flat spot on the pen serves its purpose and prevents it from rolling off the table.
I talk about the flat spot. If you place the pen on the flat spot on a relatively flat surface, it will not roll. If the surface has a slope & you bump the pen it will roll. Considering how the design has some anti-roll while looking totally clean is what I like.
I ordered one with a fude nib because I've always wanted to see what they are like. It's very smooth and will like it for creative calligraphy I'm sure but, I'd like to be able to change the nib out. Can anyone tell me what nib units will work? Thx.
Thanks for the video. You sorta sound like another youtuber 'BosnianBill', it's a good thing lol. Unfortunately the etsy shop mentioned didn't have one of these in stock. New to the pen hobby so learning on the fly.
Thanks for watching. I search for a pen on eBay. There are a few C1s listed. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2505460.m570.l1311&_nkw=moonman+c1+fountain+pen&_sacat=0
@@chrisrap52 ordered one on Amazon, close to the same price, and an m2 off etsy plus extra nibs with a 51a jinhao lol. Ink is next. Then something for calligraphy.
I loved this pen at first, per my earlier comment. I thought the anti-roll flat side was brilliant. Now I find it a deal breaker, ruining the minimalist aesthetic. I thank my dumb luck I haven't bought one yet. Thanks for the review I came back to look at again.
i was thinking of getting a pilot metropolitan (i have limited fountain pen experience) but this just looks too good for not that much more. which should i get ?
@@chrisrap52 Thank you. In a way, not the reply I wanted! Since this pen, at its cheapest, is above the UK threshold for attracting VAT, and is therefore 60% more expensive because the Royal Mail charges an £8 "handling fee". Ridiculous.
@@chrisrap52 Yep, it's a Moonman branded EF nib but the design is slightly different. No breather hole either. Unlike Charles' nib, mine is excellent. I went for the EF because in your review and a couple of answers here you wrote that the F wrote more like a F/M and I like my nibs on the fine side of F. The EF writes like a Western Fine and it's surprisingly smooth for this fine a nib. It's not a gusher but it's plenty wet. I like it a lot.
@@chrisrap52 And you and your loved ones, Chris. Thanks for all the awesome videos you make. Every time I'm interested in a pen, I know I'll find a review of it on your channel. :)
It is indeed! I now have 3 pens at home and S3 green maarble faceted and C1 on the way. The "Duofold" M600 model does not catch my attention, as I have 2 Parker Duofolds and the 3 Kaigelu models that do the job. There is a M600s you can search for on eBay. It is not checkboard, but the similitude with the Duofold is close to 100%. Nice acrylic, though.
Me gusta.
Chris, I absolutely love your reviews as they are always so carefully thought through and detailed. Is there any way, however, that you could place your microphone a little further away from your throat, as your videos are spoilt for me by hearing you swallow - a problem when the mic is placed a little too high? I hope you don't mind me saying, it's just a little pet peeve that I have. Thanks for all your research
I have moved mic further away. It is a lapel mic, pick up chest sounds. I'd tried stand alone mics & found them to have room echo and lack volume & vocal clarity. Without considerable investment, which would mean less pens, I try to have best video & audio quality possible.
@@chrisrap52 thanks for answering. I saw it marketed on Amazon separately as F and M, so I am wondering what that's about. How about the grip section, is it closer to a Lamy Safari grip section, or is it circular/rounded? Hourglass shape maybe?
@@chrisrap52 so, would that Moonman C1 nib that is replaced (M) be broader than a regular M? I'm sorry if I'm unable to get my question across. I'm not an expert on the subject.

I have this pen and adore it but I just learned today it would appear it is a copycat of a hand done one by artist shawn newton. Which I only just heard then had to dig deep to find more info about. His design was called shinobi and it was nearly identical. His pen was made as early as 2015. This c1 seems to have only come out from moonman in 2019? I'm torn bc I cant support a brand that destroys a private artist. Unless they bought his design from him which I havent found in any info. Has anyone else found any of this?
I do not have a Shinobi. Many have said this is very similar. Some say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. To me it's a pen that I enjoy writing with.
@@chrisrap52 while I have heard that term.....in the world of business and money making I wouldnt agree. This is like nearly identical. I also dont have the original and do have a moonman and this is the first I'm hearing of it but seeing that newton pen....it was unmistakable what happened. And now moonman has made how much money? And newton has not? He is a small business. A single person. Feeding a family. Putting a roof over their heads and also we have to look at this from the standpoint of a robbed artist design. I was an artist once upon a time. I will have to think long and hard. And I may have throw out my moonman pens. Bc I wont be a backstabber to a small artist in order to be cheap and buy a 25 buck pen no matter how much I like it.
Appreciate your comments but I would bet that Newton pens sold more pens because of the C1 than lost sales. The C1 & Newton do not compete in the same market. More people now know about Newton Pens because of the C1. I've heard Shawn was shown this pen & laughed.

I know what you mean. I have more pens than I need. Maybe I can find a dry out clinics for us fountain pen fanciers.
I have watched this review several times and am now eagerly awaiting the arrival of my C1.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
How was your C1? It really is a beauty!
I hope that I enjoy mine as much as you are enjoying your Moonman. I ordered mine from Bobby about a week ago and I can't wait... Great review! 😎👍✒
I am enjoying mine everyday. Wonderful nib, lots of ink, will take months to empty.
A very nice pen. Your review is both very informative and enjoyable. Thanks👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. Excellent. Always great to hear. My C1 has been a very consistent writer. Nib swapping to create the pen you want is perfect.
I have two c1 and two m2, love all of them
Keep coming back to your videos as they are very informative, thank you for that. Where can one purchase replacement O rings of different sizes for fountain pens? Thanks in advance Mr. C.R.
Pen BBS parts kit has a variety. www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805159038038.html
I have changed the original F nib of a Moonman C1 for a Jowo #6 EF. It goes smooth and good. Feeder is different though.
I order medium nibs. So far smooth & wet.
really love this pen - reminds me so much of the Shinobi by Sean Newton - a lovely pen indeed but out of my price unfortunately.
Thanks.
Thanks. I wonder what's the most beautiful demonstrator fountain pen?
You are looking at one. And the M2. Moonman wins the single purpose demonstrator race.
Have not had any of my M2 caps crack. Sorry about yours.
I just ordered one. Can't wait to get it. Hope you are still satisfied with the pen.
Yes, continues to be a steady performer.
Great idea. I hate wasting ink.
Thank you, Chris.
Thank you Chris for your honest reviews. You always review budget pens that creates interest to pick up pen collection as a hobby. I would like to know if the Moonman C1 would take a Jowo #6 nib.
Yes it will. Thanks for watching.
Maliyali ano?
I write with mine a lot and love it more. I had to return to this post to remember the name to order another one. Thank you.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
@@chrisrap52 Writing with mine now. Reflections on the day.
After seeing your rating(as many of) I'm gonna order this pen..it’s a beautiful looking fountain pen.!!
It’s alwz my pleasure to seeing your review.
Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
I've used many ED's for long writing & have not had any unwanted ink issues. Maybe I have cold hands.
Always learning from you,
thank you and regards.
It is a standard No. 6 nib in a Moonman assembly that screws in. Nib pulls out. Should be easy to swap.
Awesome review, as always :) Question: does the converter remind you of Monteverde mini converter? Also, are you planning to do a review on the 355 in Amber?
Converter standard size, don't have a MV mini to compare to. Amber review in post production.
Thanks so much! Does the acrylic scratch? Perhaps it's best to carry it in a pen sleeve in my bag, rather than "loose"...?
It can scratch. It is plastic so in contact with a hard substance, keys, it will will scratch, A pen sleeve is a good idea.
@@chrisrap52 thanks for the tip!
Great review! I need one! Have you tried the Faber Castell Emotion... very nice affordable steel nib!
No, the brand gets great reviews but not on my list. Can't have every pen.
Nice review. This one and the M6 are both among the most interesting releases this year. By the way, did you see the teaser photos for PenBBS's upcoming 352 model? Looks like a flat-top acrylic C/C pen with 380-style clip.
Seen pics, not any for sale.
Thank you, Chris. This pen looks fascinating to me. If I want to put a better nib on it, do you have a suggestion? I am “new” (or reintroduced, after many years) to fountain pens.
The nib is very good, a wet smooth medium. What do you consider better?
@@chrisrap52 I have a smallish handwriting, but I want something expressive and good for smallish lettering. This nib may be perfect; maybe I will try it before deciding if I need a finer nib or a stub. :) Thank you.
Generally, a finer nib works better for smallish writing. Would not use a typical 1.1mmm stub. Nemosine made a 0.6 stub that was nice & could work. I suggest a fine italic or architect nib to have some line variation.
Pretty pen, mine should be here any day. I ordered Bobby's Togi, and architect nib. Curious is yours the Moonman Medium or fine? Thank you Audrey
Listed as a Fine, writes like a F/M.
Great review, but I'm curious to know what Silicone lubricant you used for the moonman C1.
Thanks!
Only use 100% pure silicon grease. I got mine from Amazon. Can be found at dive shops.
@@chrisrap52 Thank you
Clear packing tape over the markings on the syringe will keep them from wearing off.
Excellent, hadn't thought of that. Where's my clear tape.
Very smooth
Great review and I love that pen! I've looked on eBay and found that they make three colours of sections although it will not let me choose weather I want a purple, red and purple or red section. Is it just random, was yours chosen or you get what you get? Thanks!
Everywhere I've looked it has been random. Which is a shame because I'd love to get a couple but worry about getting similar colors.
Also this pen looks identical to the Newton shinobi.
got one also, but a little afraid of doing it the ink dropper way for fear of leakage in my pocket. I have been using he ink cartridge .
@@chrisrap52 thanks!!!
Hey Chris I have a question. I have a C1 that I tried eyedroppering it and it just poured ink out of the nib.. I cleaned it out and put the converter back in.. any suggestions..? Thanks. Btw I got the c4 based on your review..Eileen
Can't explain ink pouring out. For ink to pour out air has to go in. There is an air leak. Did you silicone grease section threads & o-ring?
Dayum, 5 ml? CMIIW, but is there a bigger eyedropper capacity than this C1? Probably the Omar but I still doubt that. To give it the highest rating is such a great compliment for this pen. Will probably need a 1.1 stub / calligraphy nib for this one perhaps!
Indian eyedropper pens have similar capacity. Ranga makes a lot of high quality pens.
Very nice copy of the Newton Pens Shinobi, a custom pen that usually costs 10-20 times more. Incedible
Also I think that you could show us whether the flat spot on the pen serves its purpose and prevents it from rolling off the table.
Thx.
Moonman uses a proprietary nib unit. Nib & feed pressure fix. Should be easy to remove & replace nib with a #6 size of your liking.
Thank you Chris .
Thank you.
I recommend the C1 over the Metropolitan. Start with the converter filler.
chrisrap52 thanks, i think im going to order it soon. Love your videos btw. Keep at it
Thanks. Enjoy the C1.
Chris-would you say that this Moonman nib is better or worse than a standard JoWo medium?
I like it better. More bounce & maybe a little wetter,
@@chrisrap52 Thank you. In a way, not the reply I wanted! Since this pen, at its cheapest, is above the UK threshold for attracting VAT, and is therefore 60% more expensive because the Royal Mail charges an £8 "handling fee". Ridiculous.
Got the C1 in (EF) but it’s dry skips and has problems, wondering if I should swap out the nib or the whole pen. EF nib is horrible!
Is it a Moonman nib? Didn't know they made an EF. Yes, swap the nib. Mine writes nice & wet. Used a Standard #6 size nib.

Hi. I inked my pen and it does not work so I am thinking about flushing it. How long should it take the ink the flow through the feed after flushing?
So you didn't flush before inking? After filling barrel, place pen nib down for a few minutes for ink to fill feed.
@@chrisrap52 No I did not flush before inking. I have flushed it just now using a bulb syringe and it is writing well. Thanks 👍🏾
@chrisrap52 any plans in reviewing the new moonman c3?
Yes, should be up next week. Pen in transit to me.
What was the second pen from the top, lecai full model name?
Pen has been out of production for many years. ua-cam.com/video/YIoj4uGje5Q/v-deo.html
Moonman is really on the up and up I'm having a hard time keeping up
It is indeed!
Too right. I'm just hoping a UK seller starts stocking them properly. They look great and all the crits are great.
How does this or the m2 hold up long term and wheres the best place to buy internationally.
Both hold up well. Not sure what you have access to. eBay, Etsy, AliExpress should work.
@@chrisrap52 cheers Chris for the reply. Are the nuns ready to swap if younger a bad one. Thanks in advance for any reviews to anyone.

What nib is the best? Its the one you enjoy the most.
Exactly.
In terms of nib quality, this or the M600s?
@@chrisrap52 I have a Metropolitan with M nib. Would you say the Fine Moonman nibs are broader or finer? Thanks.

is the color part like bowling ball resin?
Not to me. But been a while since I bowled.
Can you fit in the Moon man m2 nib inside the C1?
Why would you consider? M2 is a #5, C1 is a great #6. No reason to put in a smaller nib.
@@chrisrap52 Oh you're right. I like M2 EF very much
@@PanMeeConnoisseur I agree, the M2 EF is a very good nib. For me, I enjoy the C1 #6 F nib more.
Chris, I absolutely love your reviews as they are always so carefully thought through and detailed.
@@chrisrap52 Fair enough, thanks for your reply

Twsbi aurora
Very impressive- think it would have been better with a clip?
Then it wouldn't be a C1. I enjoy the minimalistic design. Some pens are not meant to have a clip.
What size nib does the pen have? If it is a fine, is that considered a medium elsewhere?
#6 size, labeled F for fine. There are no standards for what is a F or M nib. This nib is a wide F, on the heavy side of F & wet. I like it.
@@chrisrap52 thanks for answering.
I saw it marketed on Amazon separately as F and M, so I am wondering what that's about.
How about the grip section, is it closer to a Lamy Safari grip section, or is it circular/rounded? Hourglass shape maybe?
My video shows large round section. If seller says M nib that probably means they replaced Moonman F nib with a M nib.
@@chrisrap52 so, would that Moonman C1 nib that is replaced (M) be broader than a regular M? I'm sorry if I'm unable to get my question across. I'm not an expert on the subject.

@@chrisrap52 It arrived today, Chris. Looks and feels solid. After a cleaning I will ink it up.

It's labeled F, but to my eyes it writes closer to a medium.
