You are very welcome. Outseam is the outer length of your trousers. You take that measurement from the side, from the waist to the length of your trousers.

A female friend told me she cannot sew men's attire because she cannot measure in between the legs well. So I was wondering how the in seam was going to be measured 😄. Nice tutorial
😁, now you know, pls share this video with her. When measuring the inseam for a male client, just give him the tape and tell him to put it in the inseam and you take the measurement, just like I did in this video. Thank you for watching.

You should add allowances to your measurements.
What's outseam?? You mentioned that if you want to take your crotch line you subtract your inseam from outseam right?I know what inseam is but I don't know what outseam is?
Outseam is the outside leg measurement from the top of the trouser waistband to the hem of the trouser. Take this measurement from the side.
