My favorite part of this quest is if you try interacting with the moomba multiple times that's guarding the elders house before being given permission to visit, he'll call two other moombas and roar instead of the cute little squeak they usually do.

If You Want An EXTRA ITEM Then Finish Up The Shumi Village Sidequest! For Fully Completing It You Can Get A "Status Guard" Item. But Only If You Do The Entire Sidequest. To Continue It, Simply Just Exit Shumi Village Completely And Re-Enter. And As For The Water Stone, You Actually DO NOT Have To Get The One By The Pond First. You Can Just Go Right To Where The Real One Is, Which Is Where Artisan Is.

You do have to talk to the artisans before going to FH. I left when you confirmed you didn’t have to talk to them and this cutscene didn’t activate. Went back and talked and it triggered.
There's actually extra dialog from the sculptor if you talk to him after giving him the last stone again before heading straight to the elder. It's actually kinda cool because it will line up with the storyline if you have squall "explain what it all meant" are leaving the elders house.

At first something similar happened to me as well. I honestly have no idea how I eventually got it to work. I guess all I can say is to talk to the two guys by the statue, Artisan and the elder a few times before talking to Grease monkey.
Go back to shumi village and talk to the guy again (where the magazine is) Then when you go back and talk to monkey, he'll give you the toy moomba. (That's what i needed to do anyway)
I grabbed the magazine. Then looked up why not - it’s so I can get 300 meteor later with ward eh? I think I’ll be ok don’t wanna reload and grab those stones again. I just looked up the video to see why quest wasn’t continuing after Phoenix pinion. Looks like I need to re enter village thanks o/
Is the amount you can draw based on how many steps you've taken? I'm fairly certain you need to take a certain number of steps to have the draw point no longer be empty, but the amount you get from it is RNG based, hence how you can reload a save and get a different amount, otherwise you'd be taking the same amount of steps so you'd get the same amount no matter what

No, but the items originally available in Chocobo World have been included with the Remaster and are now instead available using an ability called Angelo Search.
Theres also the "island closest to heaven" and the "island closest to hell" theyre only accessable once you get access to ragnarok, but they have the toughest enemies in the game and are covered in hidden high magic draw points.
Their Final Fantasy IX guide sucked back in the day As it required Internet access to the 1st versions of playonline.com at the time, before it became part of Final Fantasy XI, to get the full secret n tips revealed. Though wAs able to find the old playonline data and download the info. I actually had to buy a game magazine and order to get info for defeating Ultemicia since the FFVIII guide doesn't list how to defeat her that is her forms and all.

They made 13 a clone of 7's plot because their boss wouldn't let them make FF7 Remake for PS3 and Xbox 360. Then FF7 Remake comes out and it's too much like 13! At least there is movement in battles, which I imagine was done because it was too much like 13 before. The original FF7 has more depth than either 13 or Remake, sad to say. Even with those glitches like how Magic Defense on armor doesn't actually make a difference so Wizard Bracelet does not do anything more than just have 8 slots, 4 pairs of linked slots. I still like 7 more than 13. 13 looks and sounds good, though. I think people just saw through the scheme. There were interviews at the time where they openly admit that they made enough content for 2 more games but cut it out. Then XIII-2 and Lightning Returns comes out for full price in a 3 year span, with microtransactions and preorder bonuses but it's just the same thing, no world map, no originality, no soul, No Buo (Uematsu, since he left with Sakaguchi). 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 were all huge changes but 13 was just Cloud as a girl named Lightning (more weather names), white Barret with a beanie is a leader of a rebellious group against a steampunk military organization that isn't Shinra. I hope you can see my point about this. I won't deny that 13 looks and sounds amazing. It's gorgeous. I just think they wanted to make it 7, officially, because they felt bad about teasing a remake for the 2nd time and took their boss' stance too literally ("we won't remake 7 until we make a game as successful as 7 again" leads to them making Final Fantasy 7 but the words are a little different like copied homework).
If only 13 was a 3 disc Blu-ray game from the start instead of 60 dollars + 60 dollars + 60 more dollars. Make it 20-50% more expensive if you really have to but just release the full game! I feel like this was the beginning of the end for Square's quality releases. I'm also a little upset about having to buy a PS5 to play FF7 Rebirth aka Remake part 2. It's the same damn thing that happened with 13 but at least 13-2 and Lightning Returns was on PS3 as well! There! I admit another good thing that 13 has over 7R! I will get around to playing 13 if my PS3 isn't broken by a Sony update again. I actually still feel betrayed by Sony because I can't play my PS3 games on the new systems after they invented backwards compatibility in the first place. I'm just in the wrong because I supported them when they were struggling. Some of that might contribute to my opinions about 13, too, and I admit that isn't fair. We should direct this to Sony, not Square. It's them who are splitting 7 Remake up and timing the release conveniently after each new 600 dollar system or upgrade comes out (watch the PS5 Pro drop ever so conveniently before Rebirth comes out and the base PS5 gets performance issues running the game with its uncompressed files and textures)! Sony has really lost their overall quality lately. Their other products are completely neglected and they've fired so many people making good stuff for them. It isn't a good sign when Sony lays off 50% of everything just when they struggle a little bit with their game consoles. Plus, Emoji Movie.. Nuff said.

I have played through many times and didn't even notice the Timber Maniacs Magazine even affects anything. I thought they were just collectables...
Make sure not to talk to the artisan until your supposed to shown in the video it glitches the quest leaving it unfinished.

depends of the color in the draw point , sometimes the color its stronger it means you will reaciv around 15 , if its lower you may receive 3
