A spring loaded cutter that forms both ends to link like an arrow in a slot is an idea I have rolling around in my head. Sharing here incase someone more "mentally organized" than myself can play off the idea and even pull it off. A simple insert into tool, smash with hand and done method. Cant use heat because it risks hitting the pet crystaline state where it doesn't like to do much work.... Making this recycling FAST from strips is a big deal and we really have to figure this out.
Isn’t just welding/joining the pultruded filament just quicker and easier? When I’m doing 25-30 bottles, I don’t want to spend a lot of time in the joinery.
ua-cam.com/video/iDqzu9zKQ_Y/v-deo.html Couldn't get that method or others to work reliably myself and as you said in your other video too much waste or effort makes it not really worth it. Waiting for a chance on a resin printer to grow the above. Solves the joining problem and a few others in a slick and easy method.
Awesome! I've been trying to join strips myself without success, now I'm going to try your method. Thank you for sharing!
Hello! Can you share if this was successful?
@@thomasisalive8885 I can, it is.
Hmm, will try
Edit:
FANTASTIC. simple and functional. This allow me bigger projects with pet

My joins always brake.. I've tried everything but they always brake trying to pass the pulltruder.
Same here. I've tried a lot of methods, no success.

I tried, but it becomes a weakpoint when you melt them, so they just fail when they reach the nozzle
the best explaining ..thanks
Too much work for nothing, i joint the filament and roll it in a big spool, much easy and pratical, but thanks for your video
