@@heavensz8749sounds like you just couldn’t beat it lmao. I’m a gigantic From Soft fan and I was looking for something to fill the void. The high 80’s ratings it’s got definitely are correct. The games is fucking awesome and so much fun, def the best soulslike I’ve played. That being said I have a decent amount of complaints. Regardless, I have no idea how you could call this game a scam and a waste of money, a lot of love was poured into it and aside from a handful of issues, it was nearly perfect. You also have to remember this is Neowiz’s first game, for first game from a studio, I think they knocked it out of the park. If you got frustrated and gave up though, just go back and keep trying until you learn, that’s the point of Soulsbornes and soulslikes.
This boss was awesome, was on a similar level of difficulty to the hardest FromSoft bosses (Orphan of Kos, Malenia, and Isshin) but never felt unfair. She honestly raised my opinion of the game almost by herself. Parrying the electric balls in phase 2 especially felt so cool.
I have my doubts about it being fair but we will see

My, oh my. This boss is amazing. And her theme song too. Right there with Sister Friede, Lady Maria and Mohg. Beautifully done.
second phase cutscene goes so damn hard
Her and Romeo are definitely my favorites from this game. Simon was very cinematic but ultimately fell short. Narratively speaking he was also introduced far too late in my eyes.
Nameless Puppet was also very cool but the fact that it's missable takes away from the final score.
I agree they were definitely the best ones. I like fighting enemies who actually know how to fight instead of physically large enemies who just blast the entire arena mindlessly

You’re the first person I’ve seen say this but I totally agree that he was introduced way too late for me to be invested in him as the main antagonist
@@jeremytewari3346i understand your point but you get introduced to him upon beating Romeo. The whole time before that you were led to believe he was behind it all as some sort of mastermind. His 2nd phase fight only solidifies that notion with his stunning dexterity fighting style, clearly he's an enemy who knows what he's doing. I think personally my issue with Simon as an antagonist was that the game was too short between beating Romeo and beating Simon. He didn't really get his turn to upstage himself like Romeo did (literally lol). But at the end you discover that your father is the true evil of it all. Simon had a good motive going, saw his actions were of that for greater good (his fight and his character design sucked ass though) while P's father simply had a pathetic, desperate attempt at reviving his son which would fail miserably if it weren't for Sophia reviving us.
@@theone7059 I mean I think we are kinda in agreement lol that Simon comes too late in the game as it stands, since you also think there isn’t enough time where he’s the main villain.
Also in regards to the motives, I’m confused are you saying Simon experimenting on/torturing Sophia so she couldn’t leave him because he’s in love with her is not evil???
If we got Archibald, the inventor of the Tontirus, as a boss fight in Bloodborne.

Will kill you more times than you can count on your first playthrough,

Has an awsome cutscene,
Ect.
The devs knew exactly what they were making, there are too many Similarities and you cant convince me otherwise.

Friede with ice and black flame damage, Maria with bleed and fire damage, Malenia with rot/poison damage and Laxasia with lightning damage...they can cover all the damage types as well XD.
She is tough but mostly fair.

But it is true 9/10 bosses were slow and telegraphed and they barely have any combos . Environment is great also the upgrades but man it wasn’t that hard to play this game
@@kevindogaru4080interesting, on my play through 9/10 bosses are super fast with high poise. It is more difficult than bloodborne for me because bloodborne controls were better.

This boss is without a doubt my fav the moment I faced her phase 2 for one reason…it gave me nameless king vibes from dark souls three, a boss so grand so legendary, no boss since has ever reminded me of the feelings I had when I first faced him…until now, a fun but tough souls feeling fight, hell everything about her felt like a love letter to dark souls bosses of old

Just a tip, she’s weak to acid and of course use some throwables. It’s possible to parry her lighting bolt attacks back at her which can do a good amount of Damage. Staying on her and staggering her worked for me and I got her 2nd try. The cube that heals the spectre as well is useful

@@jdennis867 the armor won't protect against the rot but remember she is "perfected" from disease so we have no clue what kind of powers that would suggest. And she can fly. Which Malenia can't do. If she just keeps her distance I think she'd wipe the floor with her.

I copied the build (what i can see and fill the gaps myself) and finally killed her after 100tries .... thanks :)
I did that too, beat her after less than 20 tries
She is way faster and more aggressive than this in my game. I can get through her first phase easily enough, but her second phase instantly annihilates me. I’ve reached the point of almost giving up.
Idk if this is true but I heard that she gets more aggressive if you break her back shield in the first phase

It's just a matter of persistence and memorizing all her movesets and remembering how to counter them. I came close to beating her by myself but decided to invite the specter because I didn't want to spend more than two days fighting her lol
This fight was very difficult with the debuff and speed when she attacked, but as soon as I discovered that the lightning could be parried to her, it went to We're So back fast

Right? I found out on accident, thinking she was gonna pounce, but I instead deflected a bolt. Once you figure that out, her second phase actually seems more manageable.

Came back to this vid: she literally made me stop playing the game. After 3-4 days of just going after her (no thanks to most CC’s because everyone just relied on auto-perfects passive), I stopped playing and forgot about the game for over 2 months. Then I deleted it.

The first phase of this fight is good but the second phase is broken I have literally no idea what she's doing most the time my camera can't keep up and the lighting makes everything hard to see which means it's hard to figure out what's going on she absolutely melts your health bar in .0001 seconds and gives you zero windows for damage and don't say she's easy if you're using summons that doesn't count as a real win in my eyes
@user-nm7li6lr2x that literally how I won. I kept all my heal potion against the second phase (which is 9), Parry her lightning, try to block and parry her attacks, gamble on my attack hitting her and try to play it slow.
These kind of games will destroy u if u get too greedy.
"Summons aren't a real win waaahhhhh" stfu and go take a shower. Also she isn't much easier with summons anyways this isn't like Elden Ring where the summon is OP
Her second phase is consistently fucking me up, only managed to parry that first red attack once, thanks to this I know the timing better and know more punish windows. Also she's an absolute dommy mommy

Holy shit this boss was hard solo. Second half was a hard ass skill check even for veteran souls like players. I will never in my life play this game again but this gotta be S tier boss battles and boss introductions. They really exceeding my expectations.
This boss is so cool, they did an amazing job with everything when it comes to her. Breakneck speed, shock status, weird bait attack right before stagger opening. Great job she’s also sexy asf

I didnt think this boss was that tough. Took me 8 tries, only 3 in the second phase. No Spector and fully upgraded sword i started off with in the very beginning. This girl has nothing on Sister Friede or Malenia.

Boring combat
She’s really not difficult. She’s cheap. I’ve fought her at times when she never noticed the Spector constantly doing combos on me. Other times when she pierces the Spector with her sword holding him in the air, my attacks go through her. The game has moments where she can’t be hit in the middle of a move. However she can hit your character anytime. It’s cheesy.
You’re not in a position to discuss a boss’s difficulty if you use the specter
@@emile310 Are you crazy? That doesn’t matter against a cheap boss. If my attacks go through her not effecting her, using the specter is fair play. If she can’t be hit in the middle of a move, common sense will tell you I could’ve been her easily if the boss weren’t cheesy.
@@juniorlifter369 ‘cheesy’ is another way of you saying hard. She is admittedly a very challenging boss, there’s no need to downplay her and talk yourself up because you coasted through it with an NPC drawing aggro. If she truly is easy go ahead and beat her legit, 1v1
Complaining about her being invincible while she has an animation on your specter is also crazy, it’s no different from how you’re invincible when you do a fatal attack. If anything you should be glad it’s your friend getting hurt not you lmao

@@Based1889 objectively I have to agree that elden ring overall is a better game than sekiro because theres so much to it. Still the combat system of sekiro, difficulty and bosses are way ahead of elden ring.
@maximevilleneuve3248 combat is definitely better in sekiro, difficulty depends on what build your using, I personally had a lot of trouble on my first playthrough way more than I had with sekiro because I didn't use summons or the op weapons. Boss fights are imo way better in elden ring because boss fights in sekiro didn't have that surprise element or anything with their 2nd phase and all, they either just pull out a glock and a spear or some other generic stuff compared to mohg's transition, morgott transition, malenia...the list goes on and on.
