    Definitely need to give the dry wall company a shout out again, couldn't tell what the company name was with the noise in the background. The price they gave this job and with such a short notice with that many guys is really awesome. Honestly at the end of the show Matt should dedicate a part of the video to all the contractors, the quality of work they are putting in for this project is just insane.

    Not sure if I may have missed it, but I would love to see the final update of the water purfication system once that is up and operational. I remember that being one of the big pain points that the tap water has been completely unusable. Would be sick to see what the final product looks like that gives them the clean water, and the water output.

    As a renter I have limited choices for lighting, I recently un-LED’d my space as it used G9 bulbs and the only LED’s I could find were 80,85 CRI, and would constantly fail after 2 years. Went back to halogen for 100 CRI and it’s a game changer.
    Also dimmer on everything is the way to go!

  • @someyoungguy6990

    I would be using that sink box as a tool/consumables box for sure. Nothing says we kick ass and take names to a customer than taking your tool belt out of high-end fitting boxes like it is just a normal day. Always worked well for me!!

    • @someyoungguy6990

      With a bit of time I ended fitting my site box out so it had sliding trays like the sink. One side had my tool belt the other had all my bits, drills, blades and just about anything I needed for the job. Come on Mike you know you need this. Think of it as site flex!!!

    • @CGT80
      @CGT80 7 місяців тому

      I did something similar with the aluminum tool boxes on my truck. It wasn't fancy, but I installed lights and had pins for my paint rollers and brushes to hang on since bent brush bristles are not usable. There were dividers so that caulk tubes could be stacked and other tools went in smaller boxes to get stacked. I did many of the trades and a lot of maintenance along with a lot of paint, so I had to keep tools to do framing, drywall and paint, plumbing, electrical, etc. all at the same time. It made it easy to tell my helper where an item was so they could find it and it was easier to see if any tools were missing.

I'm in the process now of having my 3000 sq ft office space remodeled. Fully gutted, new framing, drywall, etc. Man, the amount of drywall dust was absurd. Even covering our large 42U server/network rack with plastic cloth, and sealing it didn't help. All those accessories are so useless as well. All they would do is get in the way when doing serious cooking. Like a plate to hold a strainer.. seriously? What happens when you need to exceed the capacity of the strainer? Now you can't strain! Just put it in the sink itself lmao. A flat dying rack with no way to stand plate and bowls up... a tiny useless cutting board... so much garbage that will just sit in a cabinet and not get used. I feel bad for Adam spending so much cash on things that Matt wants but can't have.

    Something I wish DMF would do is to split the power transformer from the modules, to make them cheaper to replace in the future.
    Even though they give 10 year warranty or whatever it is, it will eventually fail.
    Having the power transformer seperate, would allow better efficiency in terms of cost, even allow things like having a single transformer feed multiple modules.

    • @ObsessedGarage
      @ObsessedGarage  8 місяців тому

      I think if you are able swing $20K for lighting, buying a new module or two in 10 years isn't a big deal. At least that's the way I look at it.

    • @ralmslb
      @ralmslb 8 місяців тому

      @@ObsessedGarage true, but I'm looking at it from the start, I wouldn't be surprised if instead of each module having their own transformer, having a central one, could also cut the overall cost of instalation.
      One downside of this architecture like I'm suggesting, is a single point of failure, where if the power supply fails, you have no lights in a room.
