Acne is prolly one of the hardest things for girls to deal with growing up. If you have it then people bash you, and if you cover it with makeup, people will still bash you for having to cover it up.

湯 茂 林 Maurice I know acne isn't considered beautiful, and I think these videos help a lot of people out tbh, but I was focusing on the fact that she has a great face in the first place and for some people even with makeup can't 'fix' how they look. Without acne, she'd look even better, but so far she's doing great.

I'm Asian and I have acne. Asians really care about their skin whether it be their skin tone or condition, it all matters to them even if you're already pretty. It's ridiculous.

is it camera magic or what? i don’t have bad acne just monthly zits and when I cover them up they just look so obvious cakey bumps.
Every time I break out its not that bad put when I cover it, it looks too caky and lumpy no matter how much I put on
It has to do with what product you're using, how you apply it, how you blend it, how many layers you put on, and the setting spray makes a HUGE difference. Try getting one of the beauty blenders like she has, and use liquid or soft cream concealer and make sure to go slow. Don't be afraid to apply multiple layers, then use a good powder to go over it towards the end to blend in. You can do it!!! ^_^

Who would wear makeup this early??" And she just kept going on like that, even knowing how much I hate going anywhere without makeup because of my acne. So I definitely know how you feel, and as long as you use cleaner makeup brands it definitely won't make breakouts any worse. If wearing makeup makes you feel better about yourself, f*cking go for it

This really helps people like me who break out like its a party. Some people don't understand how acne doesn't completely go away for everyone as easily. What would you say is key to preventing cake face when applying concealer to breakouts?
Absolutely beautiful! But sometimes when ai have pimples, they are all dry and flakey and If I put concealer on them, it makes them stand out even more! What do you do in this case?
Exfoliate! Use an exfoliating scrub or a scrubby face brush to wash your face before applying makeup c: I have the same problem as you and exfoliation helps me a lot.
Dizzy Virgo Angie2Pink No, don't exfoliate! That's basically like scratching off a scab. It will just prolonge the healing process and can even cause scarring. Yes it will remove the flakey bits, but I for one don't think it's worth the risk.
Instead I use the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Pro-recovery on my dry pimples. It has healing properties and silicone, so it's not just good for your skin but also smoothing. It's made for people who've had cosmetic peels but works like a charm on dry skin.
I use aquaphor! Crazy, right? Covering my face in grease! Apply your acne cream, then apply a thin layer of aquaphor before bed and the flaky skin will mostly be gone when you get up. Just make sure you wash your face in the morning. It clears my skin AND keeps the flakes at bay :)

Angie2Pink don't exfoliate like a mad woman, because it will irritate your skin and cause more acne! use a strong non-comedogenic moisturiser like cetaphil, and only exfoliate very gently infrequently. i'm guessing your pimples are dry or flakey because you're using some kind of medication on them, in which case you might want to consider putting a moisturiser over your skin treatment once it has dried.
also baking soda isnt a great idea as its highly basic which disturbs the ph balance of your skin. i've used it before and though it looks like it works it really screws up your skin long-term until it regains its ph balance.

Hi! I just wanna say how great you are in all your videos & I love watching all of your makeup tutorials. I'm from the Philippines & you inspire me alot. You're gorgeous with or without makeup!

If you suffer from severe acne you should not wear makeup cause it will make it worse, however their are some ways of wearing makeup without making the acne worse. Look into body shops tea tree oil line for makeup it prevents and fights breakouts without making it worse. Try proactive makeup line too, or mix a little bit of tea tree oil with your facial moisturiser or concealer. Do not use oil based foundation or concealer, use oil free foundation and moisturiser. Wash your face every single day before and after applying makeup. I recommend clean and clear oil free acne wash by Neutrogena or the charcoal line by biore. I also LOVE pore strips by biore. Really though you should never wear makeup if you have acne but that's some advice if you do. I used to suffer from really bad acne but I don't have breakouts much anymore.

Shalby Hope pore strips are actually not good for you and do not work because we usually don't have "blackheads" their actually sebaceous glands and tea tree oil, 100% depends on each person how well it works. Body shops tea tree oil line is also variable results... It's not pure tea tree oil and has a lot of additives that you should make sure doesn't react negatively to your skin, there are other lines out there where it is pure tea tree oil which you can dilute 50/50 to use as a spot treatment. Not every acne medication (witch hazel, tea tree oil, aloe vera, salicylic acid, Benzyl Peroxide) works for everyone! I also found Proactive can be a bit harsh on some people or cause discolouration if your skin doesn't like BP (like mine, I had hyperpigmentation just from using their products). Also oil based products like oil cleansers, or the oil cleansing method sometimes works for some people with acne, other times does not. It's just experimenting till you find what helps balance your skins pH for acne.

i have acne/acne scars on like 60% of my face and i'm currently using the cellular rejuvenation serum and youth restoring cleanser and it's working on my face! i can see the difference in the first week of using the products.

+Rylee Bers use a good setting spray, and moisturize, moisturize, MOISTURIZE! a good setting spray after makeup and moisturizer before any makeup will help TONS.

Hey i actually googled it for you, checked some websites, and it says to use some primer after moisturizer to help mattify the skin :) also dont overdo the powder because it will make it cakey. a little powder and a little primer can be your live saver, but too much of either can be your worst enemy.

u should naturally avoid trying to get it in ur eyes lml and if it does get in ur eyes it slightly stings but then u just take it off simple and with lipestick honestly i don't fight it xD i just eat then fix it after

All I have is lipstick, mascara, foundation, and a ton of different eyeshadow colors. I don't have all the materials. Wish I could get them though. Anyways, think I can use the eyeshadows as some sort of contour and highlighter? Idk it's powder so I don't know if it would do much.
You can definitely use eyeshadow for contour and highlight! Just make sure it's an eyeshadow that blends out well! I actually use "shima shima" by makeup geek for my highlighter because I'm so pale and because I don't use highlighter much so I don't see the need to go out and buy one. Hope this helps! (:

If you're using an eyeshadow for contour (which you can totally do) make sure it's a matte shadow and highlight you can go as crazy shimmery as you want or you can tone it down its up to you! Have fun playing with it!

Dd singh Bright lighting can make your make-up look bad - mine always looks awful under harsh fluroscent lighting - but it shouldn't if you put it on in the correct light. Applying it in natural daylight creates the best look!
