Animal onesies for everyone!! I took the advice from some past videos to add more details on the pieces to cut out, hope it helps! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 4 days until Christmas!!
+withwendy Yes, it really helps. I understand it better now. Lot of thanks! I like this onesie verry much. this one goes on my list, with all the things a really want to make someday :)
Amazing tut love it😍 I just seen these at the mall for $95.00 each!!! Rt away I was like no way that's not even $95.00 worth of material!!! Now I know I can make it for way less$$$ Thank u Wendy 💋
Love all your videos and I can't wait for you to start your basic sewing videos. I had my sewing machine for a year. All your videos inspire me to make more challenging things. But I have to learn more so definitely can't wait!!
o.m.g. u have saved my life! I have been looking for onesies to wear on Halloween and order but wasn't very lucky to find what i wanted... but i thought "maybe i can just make one?" AND SO I FOUND THIS AMAZING VIDEO!!!
Gahhhhh! +withwendy this is a great tutorial. The intro made me so happy! It's morning right now, and when I saw you sliding down the stairs I laughed so loud my husband gave me one of those looks haha! This was really well done. Thank you for showing your 'detours' and for instructing your viewers how to avoid those same detours! Keep up your awesome work :)
If you have a complex design with a lot of colors, and you know how, I reccomend using sections of fleece instead of layering as that can look a bit odd and cost you more! You do you, just a suggestion from someone who's never made a kigu (I do have sewing experience though!)
For the arm length, you could measure the length of your arm and add 3 or 4 inches aside from seam allowance, so when you bend your arm it doesn't show half your forearm lol,,also I want to try to add hand paws to the one I make that fit like a lil hand pocket or loose mittens! Totally up to personal preference tho
awesome video! small note: it would be easier to attach the white part of the ears if you sew them on before attaching the two pink pieces. then you don't get a hand cramp from trying not to sew the other side.
I had a dream recently where I was wearing this cute jester onesie, and so I want to make it in real life, and this video helped me lots!! thank you so much !!
I love watching your videos! I would love to see a video from you featuring people on UA-cam you enjoy watching who also do crafty things, because I am trying to find more!
Thanks for the information on how to make a onesie im a young sewer so it might not come out as it looks but im trying it and if it goes well im going to be wearing it for hollowen bc its going to be a ring tailed lemur!
Kippy Wolf i made this last year for halloween as well. It was my first actual project and it turned out nice. I even decided to make the character Rayn (from Kakao) for my sister for halloween last minute. They're very roomy and comfy as well! I hope yours turns out to your liking! Good luck!
Watching this in 2022 trying to find a ones ie pattern with a drop seat/bum flap/toilet flap. And this is really helpful because I can see how all the pieces look flat before being put together and where I need to adjust.
i was worried about what i was gonna do for comicon this year because i'm really short on cash and i need to make a costume, so now i think i'm gonna make a kigu or two and use that as my cosplay this year!
that looks AMAZING really, you are really tallented whit sewing things up i wish i had a sewing machine so i could do a unicorn or some other random animar onesie
Question as im new to your tutorials XD... on the image where you shown all your cut peices... on the top it looks like there are four pieces for the body? are is any of that folded pieces or just 4 pieces cut that shape? and then on the belly part, do i have to cut two more pink pieces? or are you just showing refernece of the white belly on the pink? XD ty
I've followed this video for the past four years on all my Halloween costumes and it still works great! This year for Halloween I'm gonna go as Feathertail from Warrior Cats and this style of costume would work well for that. I came back because I was going to sew a hood to add to the costume, but it looks like your website expired. Do you have the measurements archived anywhere?
I feel onesies in general are not ideal for hot places :( but if you can find a lightweight fleece, or light knit fabric, it may help (just wont turn out as fuzzy and cuddly)
man I wish I could sew like that. I would make a black one with a blue eyes and red mouth my problem is 1.)No sewing machine 2.)IDK no idea where to find fabric 3.)IDK howto use a sewing machine but YOU make it look easy I am only thirteen and you have inspired me Wendy thank-you sooo much your my new hero and PS can't you just go to Walmart to buy the fabrics like that?
I am so used to my onesie without feet that the feets look wierd to me hahah but it kinda gave me an idea to make panda feet for my onesie so its even more comfy :)
I just started to watch your videos and I love them. For this onesie can I use other type of fabric? I have special need daughter but her skin reacts to fleece. Thanks
Totally! The original has buttons, zipper just tends to be easier to ensure it all lays flat. For buttons, instead of sewing the two front pieces right side together in the middle, you would hem the straight edges and sew them one on top of the other, overlapping enough for buttons and buttonholes that you can add.
okay, so i am willing to make a onesie using your references, and i was wondering if the body part needed lining? or is it enough if i use 1 layer of fleece only? thank youuuuuuuuuuu :)
+Alicia Bernadette 1 layer should be enough! Trust me this thing is SO warm when you wear it you will not want a lining. I can't wear it for extended hours in any well-heated space hahaha
+withwendy thank you so much wendy! this video is very very very helpful! i'll make sure to tag you once i finish my onesie! good afternoon from Indonesia!
Animal onesies for everyone!! I took the advice from some past videos to add more details on the pieces to cut out, hope it helps! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 4 days until Christmas!!
Wish there was a "loved" button :)
+withwendy Yes, it really helps. I understand it better now. Lot of thanks! I like this onesie verry much. this one goes on my list, with all the things a really want to make someday :)
Do you have to put the feet on it? It's summer right now and I get really hot
No, you don't have to. You can make it how you like it
***** okie ☺

you could fill it with stuffing ?
jumbo bear !!!
imma do this... but GODsPEED
oooooo
you make zipper installation look like butter
zipper seem to be a grr to me
This is the best and easiest tutorial for a onesie I've seen so far! Great job, Wendy!
So kawaii. Gotta love a good onesie. Thank you for the detailed hood Tutorial as well x
Amazing tut love it😍 I just seen these at the mall for $95.00 each!!! Rt away I was like no way that's not even $95.00 worth of material!!! Now I know I can make it for way less$$$ Thank u Wendy 💋

What fabric would you recommend for a super hot climate? I'm at 36°c right now. This is adorable.
I feel onesies in general are not ideal for hot places :( but if you can find a lightweight fleece, or light knit fabric, it may help (just wont turn out as fuzzy and cuddly)
Alas. I shall wait till I'm holidaying to wear it then. Thanks!

Thank you I need to make a blue lion one and I used this for the base I really happy
Could you do it with buttons instead of a zip? And if so how? Also this is so cute! x
Totally! The original has buttons, zipper just tends to be easier to ensure it all lays flat. For buttons, instead of sewing the two front pieces right side together in the middle, you would hem the straight edges and sew them one on top of the other, overlapping enough for buttons and buttonholes that you can add.
Thanks!! 😊x
You are a genius
I'm planning on making an all might onesie >:3
Is there anywhere I can find a more in depth tutorial on the hood? Like the base of it not just the face:)
I would soo make one...but I don't have a sewing machine. Do you know if you could use hot glue?
I think I'm going to make a reptar one!
you should make a tutorial for a matching outfit for you and your build a bear... I wanna make them
okay, so i am willing to make a onesie using your references, and i was wondering if the body part needed lining? or is it enough if i use 1 layer of fleece only? thank youuuuuuuuuuu :)

This is perfect
The belly was sewed with the double needle?? What needle was used in this video?
I love how you did a little drake dance in the intro. 😂
What kind of fleece do you use specifically
How long did this take you to make?
Where did you buy ur fabric and what kind of sewing machine do you have?
Plan to make a kumamon one
i loved it!❤
The intro made me laugh i almost fell off the couch.
I just came across this video, perfect timing for Halloween. I'm making a BT21 Chimmy kigurumi!
Can this work with hit glue? And how long did it take you to make it?
Thank you.
Beko Gonzales well it wouldn't be as comfortable with hot glue...
Beko Gonzales no it wouldn't work with hot glue
You could probably try adhesive glue
New sub! Love your channel! So kawaiii
