Yes you can. And Otti or Akki Roti are the originals. I used a rice bhakri. Now they are similarish but it's basically made with rice flour and water. Rolled out and cooked on a pan.
Request you to please upload a video on spare ribs at Lings pavallion or similar indo-chinese joint. The spare ribs in usa are cut to bite size pieces or r the rack which is a different style. I can't seem to find individual cut long ribs that are fried and then braised in yummy sauces like in India. Really miss those.
Nice video and nice recipe. Death Metal koriander seeds 😂 Kerala? When I hear Kerala I think of fish curry so I'd love to see something like this - or expand my sight and get surprised by something I haven't heard before.
Hey Man! I have been cooking Chili Pork for a long time, trust me it would be great if you dry roast some curry leaves and mustard seeds with everything else. I have stumbled on your channel, and the theme of hard rock and meat across India is fascinating. All the best. Rock on
Personal preference, but I’m not a fan. I never really liked pork and wound up marrying someone who didn’t eat it for religious reasons so I don’t eat it at all anymore either. It tastes fatty in a bad way to me. I much prefer chicken or beef.
To me all are different. It's like asking which fruit is better, banana, apple or orange. They are all 3 fruits but they all taste completely different. I would always say try pork. Best to get pork with less fat the first time you eat it. But it is delicious. If you enjoy both chicken and mutton you will love pork. It's right in the middle of the two.
No sir it is not. Just like your coffee beans are not burnt. You have to really push them to extreme levels of darkness. And I know it's not burnt because it has no acrid taste. It's a fine line but I did not cross it.
Looks delicious !! Bro for you safety, I hope you don't have any Muslims in your neighborhood if so don't let them know that you are making Pork cooking. I had a bitter experience and was threatened for making Pork chops and bacon. Since then i eat pork only in restaurants
Thanks but never had any issues with Muslims when I eat pork. My neighbour is one and they don't care what I eat or do not eat. The only people I've ever had issues with are religious Hindus about my beef eating. So it's safe to say Muslims are no issue. You see they don't care if other people eat pork, they just don't eat it. They make that choice because it's haram, not because they worship it. Hope that makes sense to you.
@@HKKetoRecipes Thanks for sharing ! My experience is completely opposite. I am glad that your neighbors are ok but my recommendation is careful. my experience with Hindus mostly polite and frindly people . They don't eat beef citing these animals have human level consciousness but they are not hostile and non violent towards those eating beef( i see some of them complain in social media but in person they mind their work ). Either way, i feel nourishment is a right and no one should say things haram or holy ...them not eating because they hate or love that animal is OK but don't enforce on others. I love pets but if someone wants to eat dogs, cats, horses ...etc ... i have NO issues.
hahaha yeah so Mexican and Indian food is quite similar. Yes the taco/tortilla is one of the things kind of different. They use a lot of corn. The chilies are quite different. That's where a lot of the variation in flavour comes from. Quite possible the tomatos, coriander and other ingredients themselves have different flavours, albeit not major but minor. But yes very similar.
I'm just loving this series!!
Thank you!
This is the next recipe I'm going to try. Thanks.
This looks amazing! 10/10 🙌🏼🙌🏼🤤🤤
Yummy! Thank you for sharing the recipe :) I love this series!
That looks soooo good!!!
That looks so tasty ! Will put this recipe on my "cooking to do" list.
Yum yum ..
Looks good
Keep saying Pandhee Curry till you start saying Dheemonic Ressurrection 🤣
Kodagu is the original name while Coorg is the British version.
Tasty! You two look adorable, :)
Looks delish! What is the name of that rice flatbread, please? Also, Could you use black vinegar instead?
Yes you can. And Otti or Akki Roti are the originals. I used a rice bhakri. Now they are similarish but it's basically made with rice flour and water. Rolled out and cooked on a pan.
@@HKKetoRecipes I can't eat gluten so this rice flat bread looks heavenly.
The akki Otti from Coorg is normally made from rice and rice flour
@@gangakariappa is it easy to make that homemade? I wonder where I can find a recipe. 🤔
@@gangakariappa I found a recipe! ❤
That pork looks delicious! And Deepti is right..... its Prounounced Pan"dh"i Curry :p 100 Points to Deepti :p

Will do!
Mashallah brother very tasty 😋😉

Kerala is famous for fish, beef, pork, duck, etc. I think Angamali city in Kerala is like that pork capital 😂
Awesome brother!! You guys both rock!!
Bro. We Sindhi’s have a hard time pronouncing the “Da” letter for sure. Looks tempting and yummy. Keep cooking 🤘🏻

That looks delicious 😍
Here in Canada l have only been able to get dried curry leaves. Do l use more when it is dried?
You can use a little more.
I could order Kachumpuli on Amazon but meanwhile there an alternative to Kachumpuli? (Perhaps kodampuli rinds + white vinegar somethin lik that)
Regular vinegar. Whichever one you like the taste of.
I love whenever you say Jibber jabber.
Looks delicious
My favourite 😋
excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video. Better work on those pronunciations or you could get injured!
Does anyone know if Patel Brothers in the US carries that vinegar?
How much of the prepared spice powder did you use for 1 kg pork in the Pandi curry?
Kindly clarify.
TYA
Hey below the video is a link to the written recipe with all the exact measurements.
"Necro level"😅 brilliant description!
you ever make Toddy Chicken? I've seen VahChef make it and it was a bit out of sorts because he got drunk. :)
hahaha I've seen that
you dint add salt ?
I think I added while marinating the pork, that was enough.
I am from Karnataka and my favourite food is beef biryani and Coorg pork curry 😋❤
awesome!
There's a Tusk Boar in your T Shirt 🤤
Yes that's some of my merchandise.
Does pork tests better then Chicken/Mutton?
A lot better.

It just depends on who makes it and how they make it. I love them all. Pork fry with tapioca or beef fry with tapioca is very famous in Kerala
Please no pork at all😮 Love your channel and ideas for meals.
You are welcome to swap out pork with a meat you eat but I will always make whatever meat the dish is originally made with.
F##@ck off man, it is haram for you however it is halal for us
( PUN DHEE)
Sounds similar to Malayalam .. we say panni 🐖
yes my wife is Mallu.
@@HKKetoRecipes oh ok cool. What part of Kerala ?
I am making it now. Paaanndddi not Pandi Curry. :)
I know I know my wife still yells at me and corrects me.
Give it a good mix 😂
haha yes!
that corriander is burnt. shouldnt be roasted that much

Food often looks darker on video than it is in real life.

God this looks SO GOOD, but my poor husband was born with defective genes, and coriander tastes like soap to him. :'(
Dude… really? Lol… so what is the biggest difference between Indian cuisine and Mexican
I like tacos…. Any taco

Better practice those Mallu pronunciations. You will not get away this easily…
actually it's Kannada not Mallu.
Oh I know. Since you are headed to Kerala next, and Dipti being from God’s own country. Hope I have the right.
yes that is true.
