Yes, please! I worked as a photojournalist for many, many years and only ever used the light that was available to me. I've recently given myself a toy photography project and lighting is one of the largest struggles I've had. Please continue this tutorial series on lighting. Thank you for this video and, hopefully, the others in this series. Thanks again and cheers!
The Wolf Pack Toy Review right on. thought the first episode would be good basics. love me a good "kicker" ... more soon, i swear! #wearethealliance !!! ❤️
Short, clear, and concise! I love it. I also appreciate the style, the editing, and the different angles to drive the examples home. Can’t wait for more episode to be made
This was awesome I have been looking for something like this! Great video! I have been trying my luck with toy photography "Action Figure" photography and I seem to be having the most trouble with getting the lighting right and composition sometimes too. I think by far this is the best video I have found lighting toys. So yes please more videos! I would love to see a step by step kind of BTS video from start to final picture of a 1/12 scale scene indoor in a dark room environment with a low shutter speed and then another one with normal room light or daytime light using lights for the scene.Hope that made since. Thanks 👍
Love this channel! Thank you for this rad tutorial. I’m an amateur photographer and need these lights but gotta wait after spending so much lonely on toys
Apologies in advance for the length of this reply: Hey, this is Sorry. So I've been shooting with slrs and dslrs most of my life but when I started to do miniature/toyphotography I tried to actually limit myself to my phone (phones are so advanced nowadays and there are so many readily available accessories that can be attached to them that they've basically become higher end cameras). The advantages of using the phone is immediately being able to examine and discard your results and learn more from experimenting within the limits of what the phone has to offer. (I mean, movies are being shot on the iphone nowadays haha). But if you're not comfortable with the phone and really wanna take that next step up, there are several cameras that are at the base cost for enthusiasts and prosumers. The Canona Rebel series is a popular beginner camera and amazon sells large bundles that include everything you need to start like memory cards and tripods. But all the major manufacturers (nikon, sony, olympus) all make base-level models that are intended to be cost friendly to people curious or interested in starting out. Jared Middleton aka Sirdork has a 22min video that kinda breaks down some essential tools for beginning miniature/toy photography that can be useful. ua-cam.com/video/XIojmR6MSOQ/v-deo.html&ab_channel=JaredMiddletonJaredMiddleton We'll probably do one eventually if that's of interest to you. If you have more questions feel free to email me at tr4kalliance@gmail.com , i'm here to help.
@@TR4KALLIANCE oh dang thanks, I have my phone but its camera is not really good so I have to use a siblings, and since all my money went to toys I cant really buy a new phone but I do have some extra money left over for a camera, this really helped a lot I am thankful, you are really helping this community out!!!
We use a bunch of different backdrops actually. For toys, we just buy large construction paper. For 1:1 we have a backdrop frame and backdrop rolls sometimes but we also painted our studio a neutral gray and tend to just shoot against our wall the most.
😍
You're... You're the Baroness!

Yes, I literally was about to research lighting for my toy reviews and saw this in my feed! What backdrop are you using?

@@TR4KALLIANCE Thanks, I believe that the large construction paper is what I saw in the beginning of this video!
