The best thing about this isn't the battle itself, but the fact that Palkia, Dialga and Mewtwo are just crushing the stage with pressure, meanwhile Kyogre is like: "I bless the rains down in Africa🎶"

One of the many great features of this game: you could customize your character's phrases.
THey either need to port this game to the Switch, or remake this and/or Pokemon Stadium for the Switch. Or even make a new one, including all pokemon up to gen 9. Like, seriously. These games were easily some of the -best- pokemon games out there. And with the literal narrator from the anime as the announcer and commentator in battles... It was perfection.

They could totally make like a legacy pack, Gale of Darkness, Coloseum, and this one all in one, id pay 60 bucks for that

Ong I thought the game came out in 2007 and not so close to launch to the Wii because Jesus, this game aged amazingly, some models didn’t but the gameplay is great it reminds me of what a arcade Pokémon fighting sim could be but in this age, idk if people would pay for a battle sim when it’s all that it is

Why can’t we see them fighting on an ACTUAL tower super high in the sky like on this game, made well over a decade ago ? With waterfalls, or stars, or wherever the setting is.

Honestly, this game was alright. They took away a lot of the fun mini-games and side events you could do. It looked amazing, however.

I still remember when I realized that you could easily exploit this boss by bringing a Blissey, simply because his Pokemon only possess special moves, lol. Teach it toxic and get the party started.
that Blissey needs a LOT of special defense investment though, because that Kyogre hurts a lot, even for Blissey.
@@IschmarVI Of course you would EV train it, but I honestly had no problems with Blissey whatsoever, it almost single handedly managed to beat every single of his Pokémon.

I know I recently commented on another video of yours, but watching your gameplays of Pokémon Battle Revolution is entertaining. Man I wish Genius Sonority made Pokémon games instead of Gamefreak.

I remember I beat the entire game in 3 hours only using two Pokémon. Salemance and Tyranitar. Using Salemance’s Rock Slide and Tyranitar’s earthquake🤣
Better graphics than a switch Pokémon game. Better scaling than sword and shield. The Pokémon are actually the correct size.
Fun fact: as far as I know, PBR is, up to this day, the ONLY game where Wailord has the correct scale in-battle.

I wish we had an updated version of this game. Especially now that they changed the camera angles for Scarlet/Violet and Legends. I miss the dymanic camera angles and the choice to pick from any pokemon on the previous generations.

no, you don't "need" a legendary team, but using strong legendaries definitely helps. I mean, there *is* a reason, why legendaries (or more precise: "restricted" pokemon) are allowed in this cup :D

I really thought a Switch Pokémon would look lile this at WORST before Sword Shield were announced. I was dumbfounded when the first gameplay was shown. Scarlet/Violet were utter garbage as well but for some reason ppl are dumb enough to still biy these games

There really isn't much of a story. Just win in each area and then beat the final trainer that uses a team of legends

I just beat it with the next team:
Weavile Choise Band (MPV)
Garchomp Choise Scarf
Palkia Lutrous Orb
Ludicolo Life Orb
Fisrt i started with Weavile and Ludicolo and he started with Manaphy and Kyogre, i take advantage from the rain, so Ludicolo used giga drain to Kyogre and chance Weavile to Palkia (so Palkia can resist the water spout) and básically i ignore Manaphy and i try to leave Kyogre in red numbers, and the strategy was very usefull because he changed Kyogre with Latios, (Latios recive damage from my Palkia), i leave Palkia so he can die and i can used my Weavile to kill Latios, then i decide to change to my Garchomp because he take out Palkia and Garchomp with the Choise Scarf can beat Palika, and with Ludicolo and Garchomp i beat Palkia, finally i decide to kill Garchomp so Weavile can enter and with two Night Slashes i beat it.
Was to wonderfull and epic
you would have gained a turn if you had used surf instead of thunder, killing both kyogre and mewtwo, since Dialga had already gone

Because the Switch is just too weak for open world Pokemon (looong diatribe but there are reasons as to why open world Pokemon is so much more intensive than regular open world games). Granted Gamefreak could have just waited till Switch 2

Battle Revolution was focused on battles and not in exploration and things like that, also they only had the pokemon up to gen 4.
They had more time and less pokemon, two things that SV didnt have (yes I know that dexit is still on SV but I think that they were already working on more pokemon and just wanted to get money for them)

The Pokemon looked lively, there was a dedicated announcer instead of having just text boxes, and the battles were quick yet action packed. There isn't much more you can ask for. If this game had more of a campaign outside of just battle after battle, similar to how Colosseum and XD:GoD did it, it'd probably be perfect. The series would be much better off in the hands of Genius Sonority.
That would've required Gamefreak to put actual effort.

The fuckin MUSIC, the ANIMATION, THE CAMERA ANGLES, the accurate sizes in Pokemon man I miss this game. The thing is this game sold so bad, that all this effort Genius Sonority yes the same people who made colosseum and XD made them do small projects. Meanwhile Game freak hasn't gotten wailord's size correct.

Mewtwo is faster than both pallia and dialga so it was gonna get a kill either way.
lowering Kyogres HP is important as it does by far the most damage and is also scarfed and as such extremely fast. Normally, it is a viable strategy to hit Kyogre into red bar and then ignore it as it fires off pityful water spouts, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible here because of double pressure

This battle is easy if you use trained pokemon (ds card game) but is really a challenge if you tackle this battle only with rental licenses pokémon and the pokémon Mysterial uses are different.
I was surprisingly able to use the rental Pokémon to win

@Moses Kuria the rental pokemon are 2nd evolutions with terrible items and movesets. It's impossible against uber tier. I'd pay you $500 if you could prove to me otherwise.
@@TheVeryBestBaby yeah first rentals are terrible, but after the first half the trade battle opens that way you can get a pretty decent team, in tier 7 and 8 you can get all third evolutions but also gets harder to win, but the reward and satisfaction for doing it its awesome like beating pokémon stadium with only rental pokémon not impossible but not easy

I totally agree, I don't think GF could ever grasp the 3D Pokemon capabilities that Genius Sonority and Bandai Namco could. They've both been in charge of AMAZING games featuring 3D pokemon in beautiful and stunning environments, and to see those games compared to mainline games like SwSh and Legends, it's a slap in the face that GF just keeps dropping the quality of pokemon games.

@@erikperez4829 we're comparing a 16 year old spin off Pokemon game to its graphically less impressive descendant, the current state of Pokemon. I just think it's odd that in all that time, the Pokemon Company itself has generated billions of dollars, and the products Gamefreak has been putting out in recent years are visually inferior in a lot of ways to older spin off games developed by other companies, despite the opportunity to expand the budget, the time they can work on a game, and the experience that they've collected by this point in time. That's all really.
