Great Tipps and info to the Salmonflies & fishing Passion. Thank you James
Quality video James 👍
Really uselful tips James. Could you tell me please what strength and length you use for your leader and tippet in spring and summer time.
Thanks.
Great advice 🙏
River at the moment is very murkier and brown from all the rain. We are in the highlands.
Not one video I've watched over the years has metiond water clarity. Always womdered why my usual colours simply were not working.
Any tips for fast flowing waters.
The Spey has a tendency to flood after a good rain. Have seen it dry and low with middle banks aroumd Aviemore and Grantown on Spey.
Still not managed to catch a salmon myself as yet. Fingers crossed
I Like the way you think!
Tell you one thing though. You’re 100% right on no loop with that leader. Standard knot is the strongest. Been using fluorocarbon for years
Hmm i though my angler life was somewhat deacent with 2500+ salmon landed but i dont have any of those flies and i fish in Norway so droppers are illegal where i am fishing and now i realise that i suck at salmon fishing since i dont have those 2 options:(
Good tips for there i suppose. Here, your frame of mind on fishing for where I’m from wouldn’t work well. Atlantic salmon are different here
Where r u from and have you tried these there
