I think the reason they are not remaking these legendary battle theme is probably because they come from their own generation? I personally think it's unique and good idea.
People complain when the remixes "aren't as good as the originals". People complain when they don't remix them. Sometimes ya just can't win. But hey, these songs are still freakin' awesome.

they already remixed it once for smash bros, which was awesome, but i do hope if they ever remake dppt that it'll be even better than that.
My favourite region is Hoenn and if D/P remakes come they are Time Diamond and Space Pearl Kappa

Love this theme. The whole song is awesome but the beginning from 0:00 to 0:07 is what sells me. Just such a catchy intro.
