It's mind-blowing that SJ has 116 levels, nearly all with their own aesthetic, song(s), and mechanical identity, while vanilla Celeste has... 27 levels if you count all A-, B-, and C-sides as separate levels and Farewell as all three with its massive size compared to the rest of the game. Yeah it really is something 😅the scope of this thing is always a pretty interesting topic to discuss, I know it's something we've at least brought up in dev before. It's always a little hard to really compare this to the source material since, y'know, not having to develop a whole physics engine and establish an art direction and do sales marketing and PR is pretty damn nice, but I think looking at this from just the perspective of it being a modding project is still interesting. I was thinking of doing something like that, but the only thing is, the maps are still owned by their creators so they have the freedom to do what they want with them. I think there's a pretty good chance that a lot of the makers would either want to finish them up and release them as standalone maps or just not release them at all, but there might be a few people that'd be willing to contribute their maps to smth like this, might be worth asking around maybe?

Hi! I am using translator so i can make some mistakes. I am a Ps4 "celeste" player and I have been looking at the option of buying it on the computer so I can install the mod. The problem is that I don't know if you can play this mod with a controller, if you can't I'm afraid I won't buy it, I wouldn't be able to get used to it. If anyone knows if I can, please tell me.
You can definitely use a controller, I use a PS4 controller using ryochan7's DS4windows and it works just fine. And I think xbox controllers have native support but I'm not sure. Either way, controller definitely works, but you might have to fiddle with some settings or programs to link your controller to PC
I’m currently on the advanced lobby and each map so far has taken me 1 - 3 hours and 500 - ~1000 deaths and I have to look at this walkthrough for at least one room on almost every map. I’m barely gonna be able to finish it. my goal is to eventually beat grandmaster, but I don’t even think I’ll be able to make it past one expert map. Should I try to keep going?
I made timestamps for all the maps and UA-cam DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THEM INTO CHAPTERS UGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

just in case. I'm not sure yet that I've found all the moments. All the moments with Badeline 54:17, 1:17:37, 1:22:49, 1:29:18, 1:31:44, 1:32:03, 3:39:03, 4:16:32, 4:35:26, 4:37:31, 9:37:24, 9:38:21.
I suddenly need a Dust Filter for my Hoover Max Extract Pressure Pro Model 60
finished the first 2 lobbies, my favorite level I think is Soap from first lobby. After reaching that level where you are tiny and have to do tons of crazy jumps to get the secrets I quit. Game got impossible for me
okay please this is driving me crazy and i'm wondering if you can help- i remember finding a secret(?) in one strawberry jam level where you talk to theo in a replica version of a golden ridge room. he's got a bunch of dialogue options to pick and one of them is something like "madeline i'm in a timeloop, if you can see this, please help" and it's all very random. but i cannot find what level this secret is in for the life of me
i've only played the beginner and intermediate lobbies, plus grandmaster with full assist. i'm fairly certain it's not in beginner, and i didn't see it anywhere after scrubbing through the intermediate and grandmaster sections of this video. please i feel like i'm going insane.
OH YEAH IT'S IN SOLAR EXPRESS!! I didnt find it in my playthrough but I believe it's somewhere in the transition to the first berry and Drill?
@@fonda1515 THANK YOU this has been bothering me so much for the past few days

i did fractured iridescence after beating starlight station, which was a crazy jump but i'm pretty comfy with nyoom tech so yea
anyway what would y'all recommend me to beat now? any fun nyoom maps i should play?
I gonna watch this till' end.
Is it normal for me to beat clockwork before the advanced heartside? Clockwork is just soooo good
wait was it your first expert map?? if so then that's honestly pretty impressive god damn!!!! (also thank you lol)
Same dude, i also beated clockwork pretty much after the intermediate heartside
@@togekiss09 Yeah, clockwork has something special, it's just so satisfying to play (I also just beated psychoinetic, I still haven't finished the advanced heartside and I already finished psychokinetic help me)
@@fonda1515 Yes it was! Thank you!
New question: Is it normal to beat FUCKING PSYCHOKINETIC BEFORE EVEN UNLOCKING THE ADVANCED HS?????!!!!!
WAIT, YOU MADE CLOCKWORK?!?
Perhaps 🤔
Thank you for that, it was one of the most fun levels I have ever played
@@emperortgp2424 OK, thank you🤠
Potential For Anything makes me wanna see a remake of VVVVVV with SNES styled graphics.
holy shit fonda
Ngl i just wanna learn how to ultra dash. If that means i need to get to garandmaster lobby then im getting to grandmaster lobby
Don't push yourself if you're not having fun, just play whatever you're able to IMO
@@fonda1515 I am having fun, I just don’t want to have to take hours on each map when I see others online doing it in half the time
Yes, ive watched the entire thing
