2 nights hammock camping with my dog Tyson one night at the flood zone camp and one night at the river bank camp a new stone camp building 4 walls a fire pit and a seat loads of fire wood on this island to lots of nice food and chill time loads of work don thanks for watching

John you've created a lovely campsite. I would be tempted to turn that bench into a cot, throw up a tarp and sleep in that cozy square with a roaring fire. Very calming and relaxing video. 🐕💗

There's one happy firewood thievin' knucklehead! Gets to go out camping with his people, and find treasure balls too. Even a dip in the creek to get clean. Finish the day sprawled out on the bench to soak up all the warmth of a good fire. What more could a dog want? He's a GOOD boy, that Tyson !

Absolutely loved this trip back home with you, being from Carlisle, Denton Holme then moved to Moorhouse, where I took up my camp building and woodland camping back in the 80's.
Your videos bring a bit of home and great memories.

Hi John and Tyson. WOW you didn’t mess around on the second night. That new camp looks great. Double wall looks good too. I wonder if you’re going to make some sort of a small roof to put in front of your bench or hammock, either with a tarp or maybe a few branches. Just enough to be under cover and sit by the fire, in case it rains. Or should I say when it rains. Lol! Thanks for making this a longer one and for those beautiful flowers at the end. Enjoyed seeing Tyson having such so much fun. Be safe and well til the next one.

There are similar albeit drier habitats in the southwestern United States: the coyote willow takes up the same landscape position and physiognomy. There is a certain universality. I am reminded of "The Willows" by Blackwood.

This is a horrible idea. There are way too many unwanted Staffies euthanized yearly. Best to get him snipped for his own good.
