LOUDNESS is a Japanese metal band from the 80s! I had NO IDEA they existed until today! This was actually pretty refreshing. Like a mixture of MOTLEY CRUE and W.A.S.P !

Loudness were well known among Asian Rock fan during 80's and 90's..Akira Takasaki as guitarist was a lagendary guitarist in Asia..
Wants a tasty guitar solo. Is given a full course guitar solo gourmet meal. Akira Takasaki ALWAYS brings the heat! Maybe the most underrated guitarist on the planet.
Akira Takasaki was the Japanese Eddie Van Halen ...IMMENSE talent
He is Legend 🤘🏼
Akira played tapping same time and era as Eddie the only advantage Eddie had was Media attention in USA. Of course, Eddie is an excellent guitar player, and so is Takasaki
Loudness is amazing I had a similar reaction when I first heard of this band . This band is so iconic was the first japanese metal band to break the barrier that the japanese can rock! Love their early japanese albums by 84 they were getting recognition in Europe by 85-86 got recognition in the United States, this band is so good I always say the Akira takasaki is the japanese version of the late Eddie van Halen. Akira is such an amazing, guitarsist, easily top 20 guitarist in the world. The late drummer munetaka higuchi and Akira were playing in a boy band group called LAZY, in the late 70s, worth checking out ,since you get to see how they tried to go the direction of hard rock/heavy metal . An album worth checking out by LAZY is Spaceship Earth.
It was funny that you mentioned Motley Crue because they did do a tour with them back in the 80's as the opening act. I'm sure that must have been a great show to see. You would be surprised how many great 80's metal bands there were from back then that UA-cam reactors still haven't found out about yet. I'm a musician, songwriter and vocalist myself and played in bands back in the 80's and 90's so l know about a lot of them.
Loudness was big even in Singapore back in the 80s amongst us secondary school kids…guitarist Akira Takasaki in my view is one of the best guitarist of all times…
One of my favorite bands of all time (top 5 for sure). Criminally underrated. This lonely heart is my favorite song by Loudness
thunder in the east - what an album!!
ABBAMAN,.. back in the '80s there was a ton of metal melodic heavy metal rock bands.. what happened was when a label had a successful act a competing label would try to find a similar act who could be as successful it didn't always work in the case of loudness they were not around that long so it was easy to have missed them. Every label does that no matter what genre of music for example if a label has Britney Spears another label will find a sound alike or a Taylor Swift so that's what happened in the Rock genre I'm sure there's a lot more acts that you have never heard of what happened is that these new acts don't carve out their own sound or distinction because they sound so much like other bands of the same time
That makes a lot of sense, thanks Gene!
@@GivenToe Loudness played with Nemophila earlier this year. Try another of my favourite bands from back then - "Don't Leave Me Now by Vow Wow"
Hmmmm on the fence with this one not sure if like 🙃😉😀
Yeah sometimes its simply hard to tell 😊
@@GivenToeif I'm not mistaken back in the 80's when Loudness recorded and performed "Crazy Nights" they didn't know or speak English.
But even ABBA didn't know English and sang English phonetically with their songs in the beginning.
Aldrig hört dom förut men jäklar vilket drag 💥 Den kan jag absolut lyssna på igen 🥰 Tack för den 👌🤘
Härligt att höra att du gillar den! 😁😁😁
At least Therion, Children Of Bodom and HammerFall have done a cover version on this.
Yes,that Is rock'n roll😁💥I Dont know This band, but I think I have to listen more of it 😉 Japanese can really often surprise me 😅 Sometimes I have a feeling, they do parody of some bands😅But IT sounds good😁Thank You,although I am not in patreon family,I enjoy This reaction Soo much.♥️👌
I donto 😅 glad you enjoyed it too 🙏🏻😊
heavy chains and getaway are cool tracks
It's from me, chafic itani. They are a one-hit wonder band with this song. But they have other good songs that in my opinion are better like "So Lonely" is a beautiful rock ballad from them.
Thank you Chafic, for this request! 😁🙏🏻
I have never heard of this band and do not recognize this song. It is really good. I like it. I usually don't care about the lyrics, for me the music is important.
Glad you enjoyed it Nin! 😁
A little fun fact- Did you know when they all Chant MZA there was suppose to be another chant but it would not fit with the song. So he shouted MZA and it stuck.
Really? Hahah awesome 🤣
Except Children Of Bodom sang COB in their cover version. :)
Loudness and VowWow were the Japanese rock bands I remember from the 80s. Neil Murray once of Whitesnake joined Loudness not long after this track was released I think.
Oh, as a singer? 😳
Bass guitar and backing vocals I believe.
Actually my mistake, it was Vow Wow that he joined after leaving Whitesnake.
Aldrig hört förut men det gick ner i magsäcken😃🤣

Det här var oväntat..och från Japan ! Har aldrig hört eller hört talas om förut ! Men annars rätt Ok låt , men ingen favorit 🙃👍
