Hello there! I'm from Brazil and we have a vehicle from Chevrolet pickup that's called S10, wich is a variant of yours USA GM Colorado. I've just bought an SUV that is the "closed" version of the Colorado and it's called Trailblazer, whom use the same 2.8l Duramax Diesel Engine. I really wanted to say thank you for your videos, they are helping me a lot while maintaining the car! Best regards buddy!
Thanks Wade!!! I have the exact same truck. Doing mine today at 28k for the simple reason......filters are cheap fuel components are definitely not!!!!
Who is having gel issues on these trucks? I'm searching around and not seeing a lot of chatter on it... Mean while my dad has a hell of a time keeping his brand new 2022 going. Troubles with 16oz of opti lube in the tank prior to cold snaps. GM is really getting under my skin. He sold his last Caynon because the dealer can never fix GM's perpetual evap codes. Now he has this diesel that I can't keep going in temps below zero.
Water in fuel is a killer on these trucks in the winter, especially with the filter locations. My suggestion is to see if your truck was ordered with a block heater. If it wasn’t, go to your local Chevrolet dealer and pick one up.
They will be louder as they process through the air that is in the system after a filter change. Truck should have started after second or third key cycle.

Right on!
I have one these trucks. Favorite Truck of my life. Easy to change for sure
Thanks for the info and the video. I just got a 2020 ZR with the diesel. So this vide was perfect!
thats a slick fuel filter housing they designed
Just as the old saying goes,
"Real car (and truck) guys know AcDelco."
Drain water off a stock 2006 6.6 Duramax? Is there a way between intervals?
Great video! Thanks !
So what your saying is... If it looks like Quilted Northern its a good filter.
Best we can tell, yes!
FYI - the AC Delco fuel filters are also manufactured in China.
I think not all. There are also ones which are made in Korea.
Where it’s manufactured doesn’t matter, as long as the quality is the good, the AC clearly was a better filter than the knockoff

I followed all the steps but after second lift pump cycle, I hear a loud buzzing like it's struggling to pump fuel
Like it's got air in it
