I love where I live (Ontario, Canada) in the fall but my second favourite is Austria, where you can walk through vineyards, taste the new wine (wine before it's ready for bottling) and eat in-season food at tiny little guest houses in private vineyards. I ate roast duck in a mom & pop gasthaus outside of Vienna. I ate picnic table style, elbow to elbow with strangers in front of a roaring fireplace with a dog sleeping in front of it.

You show items that average Joe's can afford and make sense of and also you have used / worn these items! Good video. Another suggestion though for anyone who has slightly larger thighs: if taking dresses either to do walking in or if you are just going out in humid weather, remember to take a pair of undershorts. Taking care of chafing while on vacation is not fun. I have done full days of touring in a skirt/dress in Europe with no problem, but did end up with chafing word the end of the day and it will happen almost immediately if in humid weather such as the southern US.
Great tip!! I did buy a couple of pairs of legging shorts last year with the pockets, so it helps save on chafing and a place to hide your phone and/or wallet 😊. (And yes, it is hot and humid down here in the South 😂)

I totally agree with you on the latest baggy trend. It is a definite "no, no" for me as a 5' 1" curvy girl now morphed into an apple shape at age 65.

Can you do something like this except you pack for an airline with a strict 7kgs/15lb luggage restriction total for both cabin bag and personal items? Unfortunately most of the airlines I fly in Europe, Asia and Australia strictly enforce bag/s weight as well as dimensions.

I'm headed to Italy next week and it looks like the weather will be more summer than fall. It was 85 in Rome and 88 in Palermo at 5 pm yesterday.I love your luggage, but both pieces are too big to take on Swissair. I can't fit much in a personal item thats only 3.9 inches wide (15.7 x 11.8 x 3.9"). My carry-on has to be less than 21.5 x 15.7 x 9. Weight for each can't exceed 17.6 lbs.

Thank you. We are taking a 17 day European cruise in March. I am bring the same suitcase and a different backpack. I'm so glad to see you can pack lots. Haha. Since it will be Mar, I'm sure I will need warmer ,bulkier clothes which we all know is harder to pack.
Spring and Fall, definitely challenging seasons to pack for!! Make sure to check your luggage sizes if you are taking a European airline, from a lot of the comments and a brief look online, they are very strict! 😊

Great ideas. I avoid white when traveling. I am just to clumsy and it would show anything I spill or run into.
Leaving tomorrow for Sicily. I packed in an underseat bag as a carry on and a small Pacsafe backpack as well as a medium sized check in bag. Your luggage wouldn’t be allowed on Swiss and Lufthansa. You might get away with the backpack you have as your carry on plus a decent sized purse( most tote bags would be too big). You would have to check your carry on. Thanks for your wonderful ideas!

Proper culottes are wider cut as you go down the leg & more cropped, much closer to a calf length split skirt while still looking like pants. The ones you have are probably gauchos like you originally said or just a flowy wide cut

I've had a couple of pairs of joggers, the nicer ones I found at TJ Maxx and honestly didn't end up wearing them that much. My favorite joggers are ones I got at Walmart and I think they have them again this fall...they are their Athletic brand. 😊

Absolutely! It is Universal Thread, was part of the Fall Collection, hopefully you can find it. I wore it a ton this winter... perfect for the inconsistent weather in North Carolina 😂

I put my underwear and socks in little plastic bags and packed them inside the Adidas tennis shoes and my little TSA first aid pouch iI slid down on one side of the suitcase. I have a video on how I pack that little first aid kit 😊
I love that luggage but who can afford it?
Plenty of people can afford it and even more expensive luggage. There are so many brands of luggage available so you should be able to find something similar that fits your budget. Just remember less expensive pieces may not be very durable.
