Great ideas there David. I agree, the spontaneity that can be achieved with this keyboard is brilliant.

I like the jam at 5:55.
This keyboard is doing for you exactly what my Korg T3 did for me through the 90’s, and today I still have several floppy disks with all those “Idea 1”, “Idea 2”, etc. I’ve shared a couple of those with you before, and it’s fun to go back and hear things that struck me on a given day 30 years ago.

Thanks so much Dave! Helpful feedback to know what jams are worth pursuing. I of course remember your inspiration resulting in those ideas on the T3. Such fun! Part of the equation might be the novelty of a new piece of gear and corresponding change of paradigm. Another part for me I think is giving myself permission to create music that may NOT be worth revisiting. In other words, some writers may have subtle internal pressures that everything has to be a masterpiece. LOL!

Oooh very Jazzy and snazzy! The one you made around 6:00 is a good pick me up after a hard days work, love it. It IS a relief valve, I remember when I just used my other synths (which I still have) with a studio recorder (Tascam DP32SD) which I still use when I go too crazy for the final recording when going nuts with the slider on the Key 61 and filters, but... you know, I rarely use anything else than the Key 61 nowadays, the other ones are just collecting dust (which is a terrible crime agains for example...a lonely Yamaha montage which has SO much potential) but oh the menu diving and the hours wasted just creating synth experiments, I'd rather get stuff done, kinda like you.

Thank you so much! Very helpful feedback. Its so interesting that you are mainly using the Key 61. I am having a similar experience with some other great keyboards here collecting dust. I feel a bit guilty about that... 🙂
