I got this and mine came with four attachments I think. I bought it because my hair stylist uses it on my hair when I go in. What I found when I started using it with the tools is that they seem to be designed for a stylist to be using on another person because when you're using it on yourself it doesn't work like a the same motion as a brush you're actually having to twist your arm into a awkward position because the attachments are straight on the end instead of sideways. I need to play around with it more and get used to it, but it definitely has power and even before I used any attachments, just the blow dryer itself gave me a lot of shine. Just wish the attachment snapped on perpendicular to the end of the dryer instead of crossways at the end.
So just a little tip for the blow, dry styling brush, and this will apply to any blow dry styling brush. You should always go over the surface and the underneath of each section to get optimal smoothing results. I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 20 years and I’ve been using a Dyson air wrap for the last three or four and it is key to getting a proper blowout. I go over the top and underside of each section And end up with virtually no frizz. Having said that I’m really looking forward to trying the shark speed style. My original Dyson dryer from eight years ago, seems to be dying its final death. And I have a great discount from Ulta so I’m gonna give it a try and hope I like it as well as my Dyson.
You are beautiful, gray hair isn’t ugly, I think it makes you. But I know what you’re saying, but ya know all these women who dye their hair, when they’re sixty, seventy or eighty, they don’t look younger they look sixty or seventy or eighty. And some look plain foolish.
Do you use the curler attachment on wet or damp hair? I’d love to see a comparison of the shark vs the Dyson air wrap. I’d be more likely to try Shark since it’s like half the price.
The speedstyler is super speedy! My team and I all tried it out and shared our thoughts here: thenewknew.com/shark-hair-tools-review/ You can hear from 3 people!
I have a cheap ,not even sure the brand, I got it with my Boxycharm box Mega Sale 3 years ago for $15.99, yes $16 and it has 3 speeds as well, I use it from sopping wet, or half wet or alsmost dry. I have VERY curly hair, but its not coarse! and the brush on mine is between round and square, kind of sqoval, i guess they call it, i can get to my roots and it take s me less than 10 mins and my hair gets super duper shiny and smooth, looks like i got a professional blow out, or uised a flat iron but without the super poker straight look. if you lift up your hair and then put the corner part at the root and hold it there for a minute and then when the mid to emds are almost dry keep rolling the hair around and around the brush without letting go of the hair and this will give you, a very smooth and bouncy look. I am also a master ahoirstylist of 20 years so i do have experience, but you can get ot good if you practice and follow these tips.
I came to this video to see how your hair looks now after the 3 years I'm loving the lighter colour I'm nearly to the 6 month mark going cold turkey you helped me after I watched your video
I loved this video, just what I was craving to know. I just purchased my speed style, but with the diffuser attachment instead of the concentrator. After what you mentioned about the hair damage, I'll consider buying this one too.

How old are you? I feel like you said you were almost 50 in a video. I feel like like that can’t be right. Maybe it was almost 40? I’m almost 49. Haven’t died my greys since early November

Thanks for this! I was in a fix, trying to choose between the speedstyle and flexstyle. This really helped.
I'm so glad to hear it! Which one did you end up getting?
@@thenew_knew I got the speed style and love it so far.
Hi, which product do you use before using the flyaway smoother? Thanks
Would you say the speedstyler dries faster from a blow drying perspective? I’ve read that a lot but would love to know from someone directly!!!
