Hope you guys are looking forward to lots of Manor Lords on the channel! Grab yourself a cheap deal and support the channel at the same time, Instant Gaming have supported the channel for years! Enjoy! www.instant-gaming.com/en/?igr=overchargedegg
Okay after the absolute debacle that cs2 has turned out to be, this game looks absolutely stunning and looks like it plays really well. I'll 100% be getting this when it releases on consoles. Really loved you adding that short section where you could hear the sounds of the game. Goes to show just how much real care went into this game. The developers really should be praised for the game and its in early access and looks this good. Thats impressive
@peterburton1160 that's what a few people have said. That it'll be on pc first then a couple other things then console later on. Really hoping it does cause the game looks phenomenal
Yeah same here, looks awsome! It is on gamepass for pc and will most likely come to console gamepass aswell, when the early access is done. Playstation+ maybe gets it aswell, not sure how that service works.
Please continue this series especially when the game releases fully. I can only imagine the city resulting from this game’s beauty and uniqueness with your detailing skills.
Thank you so much. Bought this game yesterday, and was quickly overwhelmed. Looked at a few beginners guides on UA-cam, and they all seem to jump straight into the deep end of strategy without giving a basic idiots guide on getting started. Personally as an idiot, the comment "We will take a nice slow approach to this game", instantly got the channel a thumbs up and a sub.
i remember playing some demo long ago, it was great game, i cant wait to play again in full. i love those kind of games. when i was kid i imagined Age of Empires would become something like this in the future
You are one of the few UA-camrs who actually showcases the animation and music in real time to appreciate just how good it is and I love that. So many UA-camrs are playing this at constant high speed and you don’t get to see the cool bits like food stalls being replenished or someone going to get a bucket of water from the well. I love it.
running my first play through right now & i just copied your whole set up, luckily i spawned next to a rich deposit of wild animals! this game is so fun & beautiful & im barley getting started!
This game has just been made with such love. The animations have such character and the graphical assets so many cool details you can tell the amount of care that has been put into it. It's such a contrast to these sprawling, generic games produced by massive teams. Really looking forward to more of this series.
Oh I'm really looking forward to this series. I've been watching your CS videos for a little while now and recently catching up with Ilos. But I'm really interested in Manor Lords. It's really fun watching you create. Thanks for the content.
I have just started playing this game after stumbling upon it accidentally, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised how enjoyable and detailed the game actually is for an early access. I am here now to learn how to play by watching your tutorials.
What a wonderful intro to this beautiful game! You're going to make me broke if you keep introducing beautiful games like this, Egg. Lol! Thank you for sharing.
What a great game Egg! So glad you have decided to play this as I share your enthusiasm for it. Really looking forward to seeing you get into it over time.
I’ve been looking forward to this game for so long! Based on what I’ve seen so far (I’ve not watched the video yet) and the limited beta demo release that was put out last year, this may be the closest I’ll ever get to those glory days of playing Caesar 3 in the late 90s. I’ve been looking for this combination of city builder and RTS ever since
can i just say right off the bat, this game is definately for me!! the way you explain in such detail for a newbie like me to get my head around everything is exquisite. not only do you care for your content, but most importantly for your viewers too. thankyou so much. keep manor lords coming!!!!!!!!
Thank you for doing a series on Manor Lords! I have followed you since Cities Skylines. I enjoy the way you get lost in the game and how you explain everything. Just can not wait to play this game! Keep up the good work!!!
In response to your comment of : "let me know what you want to see" .... ALL OF IT!!! fantastic game i can't wait to download this! and I will be watching every video you post! I'm literally drooling
I’ve been interested in Manor Lords ever since it was announced, but I must admit I’ve been on the fence about it, given many other hyped strategy and city builder games not living up to expectations. This video changed my mind. I will definitely buy this when the full game comes out. Beautiful graphics, great scenery (you really feel like a fragile small medieval settlement in the middle of vast wilderness), classic strategy and resource gameplay, great attention to detail and some very nice features like buildings adapting to plot size. Great video Overcharged Egg, will watch the rest of this series!
Awesome. Manor Lords is finally here! This really is a beautiful game. I love the detailed production chain and variety of resources in Farthest Frontier, but the aesthetics of Manor Lords is on another level. Looking across the map/countryside is so realistic. Makes you feel like your town is really incorporated into the world. With FF, you can't really even zoom out and you don't get that feeling of really being in the space. Don't know if that makes sense, but ML seems a lot more immersive on the visual level (and it's not just visual, the game mechanics are there, too). I am really looking forward to more episodes.
Very enjoyable video to watch thank you. Manor Lords is beautiful and appears to be very fun to play. I have always preferred the relaxed atmospheric style of city builders over intense first person shooter type games. I am excited to get into Manor Lords when it launches and build my own town. Please keep the ML content coming as I enjoy you approach to the content.
This game is absolutely gorgeous! 😫❤️ The graphics are amazing but what really made me excited was all the details in the different buildings & the way you see the sims doing all the different chores. Like the logs aren’t just spawning from one area to another.. 😅 Would really love to see you continue with this game as it develops because it really suits your channel, you gameplay style & your overall vibe which is so important for me! 😊 It’s just a wholesome, engaging & chill game just like you 👍
Really looking forward to this game. I am sure I will put 1000+ hours into it over the next couple of years. Well done to the dev and publisher. This game is going to be a huge success for you and for content creators like our Egg here to fill the void from that stupid game that failed miserably that shall remain unnamed. Can not wait to grab my copy on release day and to see how to game progresses through early access, into 1.0 and beyond.
My partner and I are coming back to start this series and are really enjoying the slow pace explanation approach. You can see the early access rough edges hut they're not game breaking. Even in this state id be more keen to get this now than CS2, sad state, but exciting for ML
okay, I admit, I wasn't going to watch these, I didn't want to start another game. BUT, It is really good, and I can just watch you play it without having to buy, install, and play it myself. Thank you for the VOD. 🥃🥃
Absolutely top class content helped me learn a few things as im new to city builders! A very thorough detailed explanation i cant wait for more videos! You sir have earned yourself a follow and subscribe! 🎉
This looks like an incredibly exciting game. Plus I read somewhere that this is going to be on game pass which is even more exciting for me. Thanks as ever Egg
you really have things spread out a lot at the beginning. Your poor ox is having to haul those logs a long way to deliver them. I would have looked at where the water is and the fertility before deciding where to place my buildings. Still loving your playthrough, can't wait for the release.
The road from the Church, Granary and Hitching Posts should continue across the Main Road towards the Houses and connect at the road Junction with the Houses It will create a small triangle which can be used as open space. Could also continue the road from the Houses accoss the Main Road in the other direction towards and past the Hitching Posts to create some parallel roads.
I’ve watched several let’s play and I haven’t seen anyone figure out that you can upgrade the homeless tents to a working camp. It’s a game changer to start, the negative approval stops.
Thank you for sharing this insight! I'd love to see a "roundabout"- or "circle"-residential district where the road is a circle in the middle and the houses on the outside of the circle.
This reminds me of how I wished there was an Age of Empires game that was less about the War and RTS elements (While still having them) but more about building a functional kingdom of sorts. It honestly looks like the exact type of game I've wanted for years. lol
This is really interesting game, been binging on content. I can see it would be very important to scout out the area for resources, water, and fertility first, in order to determine what kind of economy you will be focusing on and where to build housing. I'm guessing being far away from the water and other resources affect your efficiency.
What a beautiful looking game. Amazing how one man with a vision can create an experience that smashes it out of the park and puts major developers to shame. I think CS2 has shown us that design by committee doesn't work and that designing for the cash grab just makes people mad. And rightly so. I hope this game does really well when it's out of early access.
Removing the family gathering berries is a mistake, because they have a food stall, so by removing them, they will no longer work the food stall. The same goes for any production building that has a market stall.
I have played similar games in the past. The only thing I don't like is...there usually is no variety in style of houses. All houses end up at the same level and every one is the same style. A choice in 3 styles would be nice.😊
Once you have built homes, church or marketplace. Can you later move them to redesign the village for better placement as the village grows? Or move and redraw roads? 😊
Absolutely phenomenal brilliant video with such passion and in-depth guidance I bought this game and was about to refund it. I’ve just watched your part one. I can’t wait to fully watch all of your other episodes and then I can’t wait to play this game. !
My favourite thing about watching all of these gameplay videos on Manor lord is seeing the city builder gamer's brain rot manifested in building urban planning suburbia in a medieval game. Have fun with it, be creative. You don't have to make everything square.
Just on a historical note, tanneries were rarely, if ever, set up near a population or in the heart of a town. They allegedly were putrid places and were constructed on the outskirts of towns / villages. Just being fickle
Little bit of clipping going on with characters going through like objects and such. Not a big issue but just need to do better with object collision. This will prevent characters going into or through objects.
Hope you guys are looking forward to lots of Manor Lords on the channel! Grab yourself a cheap deal and support the channel at the same time, Instant Gaming have supported the channel for years! Enjoy!

For an early release, the graphics are incredible, and the game play looks so smooth! WOW!!
Couldn't agree more mate!
It's pretty awesome. I'm really digging it.
Please continue this series especially when the game releases fully. I can only imagine the city resulting from this game’s beauty and uniqueness with your detailing skills.
Definitely more of this series to come 😌
It's absolutely amazing what one man with passion can do in creating a game vs. the giant, well-funded team behind CS2.
Yea you said it right their "well funded" they are greedy they, just want money, that's why those games are shit, beimg cheap while maximizing profit
VERY excited to see you finally in this game! Great intro Egg and look forward to more!
Thank you FewC! Glad you've enjoyed it :)

This game is SUPER pretty. I love it already.
Very nice start to Manor Lords. It's such a lovely game!! Look forward to much more 🤩

Praises the dynamic plot size of houses, still builds grids 🥺
Thank you for these guides. You have made one of the best
Thanks man, thats kind of you to say!
A few extra large Burgher plots with vegetable gardens yields a lot of food for their cost early on.

More Manor lords less City skylines 2!
Removing the family gathering berries is a mistake, because they have a food stall, so by removing them, they will no longer work the food stall. The same goes for any production building that has a market stall.
City building + RTS is basically Stronghold.
This is Stronghold with depth.

15:04 French words to make English brains think you're smart and fancy :^) The dev knows
Have you seen the grave yard or the pit for the enemy in action yet?
Could you turn the video brightness up a bit though? It’s a bit dark.
This seems like it has the potential to have a decade long run similar to GTA 5 or EU4, especially with the right DLC
yeah man people will be playing this game for 400 thousand years just like GTA 5
Very nice... someone explains well//// since... there is no tutorial in game... or... what is there... is not enought❤ thanks

Have you figured out yet how many families per morgen it takes to efficiently farm?
They should have named this game “we need more families”
What are your graphics settings in the game and in the Nvidia control panel. My game at full settings on 1440p does look as good as yours.
Banished has come a long way.
