- A number of subscribers have asked if they can make a small financial contribution towards my efforts. I have now opened a simple paypal account at paypal.me/peakfiddler.
I am planning to self fund the publication of a collection of my tunes, so this will help towards those costs.
Not wishing to make you all feel down in the dumps, but I just thought I would spread a little of the Blues this week.
This is very much written as a fairly simple Blues tune to learn to play on the Violin.
First, I demonstrate the melody and then discuss some of the finer details of playing this style of music.
Then I play you through the Blues tune at a slow pace, if you wish to learn by ear.
The notation and TAB is provided for you to follow along with the video.

Thanks Peakfiddler! Another great lesson!
What a great tune! Thanks, again, for your teaching and generosity!
That is really good. Thanks for the chords. Reminds me a bit about Stephane Grappelli. I enjoyed listening to him.
didnt see it at first, thank you!! Please do more like this, something slow and moody?
You have got the best songs and you are an excellent teacher. Thank you!

Une mélodie très sympa à jouer. Merci
grazie!
thank you sir
You are totally right - in fact black fiddle players were the first to play the blues then guitars copied them. Lonnie Chatmond is my favourite
Shades of Papa John Creach!
W.C. Handy is smiling.

I left a link for the notation and tab in the video description
