Ok so I been seeing a lot of people use the wise strix, force strix, soul shave force into cyber dragon infinity combo and I've been running it. Am I missing something orrrr? Second question is what happens if I dark ruler no more my opponents savage dragon? To his attack and counters...and if the savage dragon was to stay on field till next turn what happens then?
You can activated any normal spell cards after setting it, quick play spells on the other hand can't be activated the turn they are set i.e. the same rule with trap cards. The 2nd question the counter Will vanish and the attack return to normal, if the savage still on the field nothing Will happen to it.
can you dark ruler, Artifact scythe? i was in a local tourney when i was told because artifact scythe effect was placed the turn before dark ruler dose not apply
Depends if the cards that negated by veiler is Hard OPT or Soft OPT and if that cards effect already activated when your opponent use the veiler. If it hard once per turn then you can't activated it effect again as you already activated it and got negated. If it SOPT then you can activated it again. Because veiler negated the effect not the activation.

Infinite Impermanence is a bad example here. Since you can only target your opponent's monsters, it's not possible to negate your own monster effect to prevent the other impermanence from resolving.
He was using imperm as an example of players trying to negate two backrow columns targeting just one monster on your opponents field. Only the second imperm can resolve so only that one column is negated
Can herald of the arc light get its effect off after getting hit with dark ruler no more? I know it should work under skill drain but I was curious if it would be different due to the different wording
You won't negate with it but u can activate to remove it off the the field. Skill drain only negates the effect of monsters that are face up, if they aren't face up any longer by being removed from the field, then they work again... But once a monster has their effects negated by another effect applied to them, it is still negated if they activate it on the field (even if it gets moved off)
VFD's effect, if it resolves, lingers for the remainder of the turn. DRNM has absolutely no effect on it, sadly. Same goes for Utopic ZEXAL on your opponent's turn.
This was great. Is there anyway you can show these examples with actual cards. It's a little difficult to follow the idea without a visual representation.
I’m not sure if you covered it in the video, but I had no idea that the attack gain from carrier was kept even if it’s effect got negated. Maybe that’s obvious to you, but I didn’t get that at all
For the card text i understand= declare atribute on field; A also B. Asuming Protos is the only Monster on the field and it is a valid Monster for the effect and as neither A or B is required for the other to occure and it does B when resolved i think yes, you can actívate, im not 100% sure tho
you need a Monster with the Attribute/Type on the field that you want to declare. A is to destroy monster of that declared Attribute/Type and B to lock the Opp out of summoning that Attribute/Type. If A cant happen (cause the monster cant be destroyed by card effect or a card like salamangreat bale saves them) then B is still apllied cause it does not need A to destroy something.
The token collector got tributed by Nibiru. Token collector can only activated it's effect on the hand or GY. So the token collector got tributed but then it can activated it's effect in GY to SS it self and destroy Nibiru token.
If my opponent summons rescue cat and I activate effect veiler I been told he can still activate it's effect because of some priority bs. Is this true?
Read all of this. On summon you used effect veiler, and veiler resolved. So yes, they can activate rescue cat, but when it resolves it will be negated this nothing occurs. The priority thing is bs.
Linguriboh 1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster *When your opponent activates a Trap Card (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate that card's effect, and if you do, banish it.* If this card is in your GY (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 "@Ignister" monster that was Summoned from the Extra Deck; Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Linguriboh" once per turn. Yes it can if the trap is just being activated If it is already been activated, it cannot
@@chrismcdonald6079 the way dark ruler works is simply stopping monster if you can chain any s/t to its effect and then 1 of your monster to your s/t effect you can work around it they had to give ruler some kinda of weakness other wise it be ban worthy (which some probably feel it is i feel its fair their a small out and mostly non searchable)
9:30 You can not impermanence your own monster. Not saying anything previously was incorrect just to calirfy card text here. "Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, negate its effects (until the end of this turn), then, if this card was Set before activation and is on the field at resolution, for the rest of this turn all other Spell/Trap effects in this column are negated. If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand." The example you gave about there only being 1 monster is an illegal play. If you use impermanence on the opponent's monster, you can't chain your own impermanence to stop that effect. A better example would be if you chain Impermenance to column where there Impermenance is while you yourself control another monster. The Impermenance in the higher chain will be the one to resolve to negate the column and monster effect the other Impermenance will be negated by Impermenances secondary ability. (if both are set in the same column) Side note: If A can't happen B won't happen. So, in order to get the set effect of Impermenance the monster has to be negated. Example: If your opponent controls a Traptrix Sera which is unaffected by normal trap cards, if you activate Impermenance and target the Sera A can't happen, So B won't happen either. You must negate the monsters effect to get the secondary benefit of it being set.
@@MSTTV Oh, I understand now what you said, you meant as in You had 2 Impermenances your opponent has 1 monster. It felt like you said there is two Impermenances on the feild I assumed you meant as in one on the opponent's side and 1 monster on your side. So, yes sorry. I get you now. The one in the higher chain link will resolve and the other one wouldn't be able to do anything since the one that is chain link 2 already negated the monsters effect.
I mean, any chainable trap, including skill drain, will let you negate dark ruler with a monster effect next chain link if you have a monster that does that. Alternatively, you could just play solemn judgment or something.
Yes it can. Even if he activates TK's effect, it will still be negated because TK's effect were negated at the time of activation. Its like: Using debris dragon to special summon a Lonefire Blossom. The lonefire's effect is negated. If it uses it's effect on the field... the effect activation and resolution are BOTH from the field (the card maybe in the grave, but activation and resolution of a card are from the same place) I'll probably do a ruling on this one as it is the most frequently asked question.
Thanks . I’m returning to Yugioh . Still learning all these new cards and certain Scenarios. Once I learn them once. It sticks with me . So thanks for answering .
Most people won't have Dragite and savage at the same board unless they want to bounce back your opponent cards. They tend to have savage/dweller/Herald/appolusa/union carrier/BD or savage/dweller/Herald/appolusa/I.P/BD. Why would you need Dragite when you already have savage/Herald? If you want to negate monster effects just use appolusa. But i see your point, it can happen.
Rama Roy just speaking on plays I’ve seen happen. Not the “standard” end boards. And I actually play the lvl 4 water for the stack and draw. So I make both 8s more often than some rock players.
Hero is my ruling question for dark ruler no more. This is a Dark Warrior Kali Yuga Senario. Lets say I have the play for Kali Yuga with Number 11 Big Eye and the Phantom Knight Rank up Set. Lets then say that my opponent activates dark ruler no more, I then chain my rank up to go into kali yuga. My question is, won't Kali Yuga then negate Dark Ruler No More since his effect isn't activating in response to dark ruler no more thus leaving his second effect live for the turn or would all his effects still be negated?
That could work if you chain phantom knights rank up as chain link 2 against a dark ruler then it would special Kali Yuga first and since Kali Yuga Eff is mandatory it resolves first meaning that dark ruler can’t actually resolve
@@tha1stalchemist Kali Yuga's effect to negate does not activate and applies upon summon resolution. Kali Yuga's Xyz Summo resolves first, so DRNM should be negated.
@@thomash8513 there is no actual resolution to Kali Yuga's effect as it doesn't activate. It just applies once the condition is met. As it is known as a Unclassified effect ,its like a condition/effect merged into one instance.
Dark Ruler no more will be negated before it reaches its chain link. so yes in a sense that does work as all card effects are negated after Kaliyuga is xyz summoned
Player A has Archfiend Abyss and impermanence, Player B has a monster. Player B activate dark ruler no more, Player A chain the impermanence to the dark ruler no more, if Player B has no response can Player A chain Abyss to the impermanence to negate dark ruler no more?
Dark ruller on a negated monster is false. It doesmtnspecifically say negate effect monster effects. Since it is a face up monster on the field. It still gets negated at the same time as unicore
If a card can negate the activation of of either the card and the effect, can you decide to negate the effect on a card activation. For example Generaider Harr deciding to only negate the effect activation of Eldlixir of Black Awakening, instead of the card activation so the condition to lock them to Eldlich is active?
no the way cards like this work is when it says the effects of a card it means something already face up activating it effect example be diagram using it pop effect to search (you could with harr negate the activation of the card or when it goes to use its effects at 2 points you can negate it) but their no pick and choosing effect or activation its just on continuous and field spells (some others ) they have effect that activate while face up
Until now no cards can choose to negate the activation or negate the effect unfortunately If it exists, I will choose to negate the effect for HOPT cards and negate the activation for other cases
2 Impermanence activated by each player can't target the same monster cause a player who activates impermanence must target a monster controlled by his opponent
All those people who called an Adamancipator player stupid for not going into Dragite feel like fools now, huh? There probably wasn't a water in the GY at the time.
In the example is you have 2 imperm then activated both of them targeting your opponent monster to negate it and negate 2 collomn at the same time. Not that 2 Players have imperm and try to use it on the same monster.

Skit make no sense. If you saw dragite on field you would have checked grave to see if it could negate. And if it couldn't then you evenly matched. Looks like this is a player who drew evenly match and immediately went into trying to use it before checking board state. In other words a mindless noob. Not someone who over looked a small detail. Don't worry even pro players can fall for it. Just look at online tournaments in PPG or cimoo CCC tournament. Both of them pro players and one of them normal summoning Twice in the same turn(both of them have tops in YCS).

VFD's effect, if it resolves, lingers for the remainder of the turn. DRNM has absolutely no effect on it, sadly.
Same goes for Utopic ZEXAL on your opponent's turn.
Hi, I was wondering if you could overlay a card like Shaddoll Core for a rank 9, or can you not because it’s still treated as a trap?
Yes you can
It is also a monster so you can overlay it (except it is negated and it is on S/T now)
In dragite's case, that's why i saw many play tenyi shtana and needlfiber, just becuase it's water.
This was great. Is there anyway you can show these examples with actual cards. It's a little difficult to follow the idea without a visual representation.
I’m not sure if you covered it in the video, but I had no idea that the attack gain from carrier was kept even if it’s effect got negated. Maybe that’s obvious to you, but I didn’t get that at all
union carrier's effect is still applied so even if the monster was negated, as long as the equip is still attached... then........ yah it stays.
@@MSTTV I love that you type exactly the same way you speak.
To activate the effect of archnemeses protos, do you need to have a legal target to destroy?
How do you join the discord?
what happens when Token collector is on the field when I activate Nibiru?
Can nibiru even activate?
The token collector got tributed by Nibiru. Token collector can only activated it's effect on the hand or GY. So the token collector got tributed but then it can activated it's effect in GY to SS it self and destroy Nibiru token.
ya your right, thank you. it tributes token collecter and THEN summons token.
@@MSTTV thank you man. I have a few more ruling questions...umm I dunno when or whatever to ask but. Yeah. Much appreciated regardless
dark ruler vs ultimate falcon?
Can linguribo negate a floodgate like gozen/rivalry
Linguriboh
1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster
*When your opponent activates a Trap Card (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate that card's effect, and if you do, banish it.* If this card is in your GY (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 "@Ignister" monster that was Summoned from the Extra Deck; Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Linguriboh" once per turn.
Yes it can if the trap is just being activated
If it is already been activated, it cannot
If you already activate abyss dweler and your oponent activate dark ruler no more is abyys negated or its effect still continues
abyss dweller once resolved, its eff is lingering, so even if abyss dweller is off the field, the effect lingers.
it’s a lingering effect. it won’t be negated. same with true king of all calamities.
What about the cant respond clause in dark ruler no mores text
This is after the resolution. But you can still negate dark ruler if you activate a spell/trap than use equalmax/something like it.
@@WShoup9818 I understand, kinda defeats the purpose though don't you think?
@@chrismcdonald6079 the way dark ruler works is simply stopping monster if you can chain any s/t to its effect and then 1 of your monster to your s/t effect you can work around it they had to give ruler some kinda of weakness other wise it be ban worthy (which some probably feel it is i feel its fair their a small out and mostly non searchable)
The m:p masqaruena is illegal of the reason that security quard is light
you mean with orcust.
I:P cl1 and chain orcust cards is legal so.
If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand."
The example you gave about there only being 1 monster is an illegal play.
(if both are set in the same column)
Side note: If A can't happen B won't happen. So, in order to get the set effect of Impermenance the monster has to be negated. Example:
If your opponent controls a Traptrix Sera which is unaffected by normal trap cards, if you activate Impermenance and target the Sera A can't happen, So B won't happen either.
You must negate the monsters effect to get the secondary benefit of it being set.
I never said imperming my own monster, there is only 1 monster on the field lets assume a valid target otherwise nothing makes any sense.
Cute, even more reason skill drain stays at 1. Well, that's good to know for the future at least
Because clearly, we wouldn't want it to be like the ocg where everyone is maindecking skill drain to duck dark ruler no more.
@@kapwns skill drain at 3 would be cancerous regardless of this interaction
Skill drain at 3 is fine the only reason it was limited was becaus of qli know in day theres so much removal
I mean, any chainable trap, including skill drain, will let you negate dark ruler with a monster effect next chain link if you have a monster that does that.
Alternatively, you could just play solemn judgment or something.
@@IamGrimalkin you know. Ignoring the fact that most negates must be used directly in response
Can dark ruler no more negate thunder kings ss negate?
Yes it can. Even if he activates TK's effect, it will still be negated because TK's effect were negated at the time of activation.
Its like: Using debris dragon to special summon a Lonefire Blossom. The lonefire's effect is negated. If it uses it's effect on the field... the effect activation and resolution are BOTH from the field (the card maybe in the grave, but activation and resolution of a card are from the same place)
I'll probably do a ruling on this one as it is the most frequently asked question.
Thanks . I’m returning to Yugioh . Still learning all these new cards and certain Scenarios. Once I learn them once. It sticks with me . So thanks for answering .
Another thing dragite users do is make savage and have noodle equipped to savage. Taking the water out of their gy
i love dragite i use it in my tenyi deck cause mare mare water (tho i not cheaty i make sure mare mare in gy or shthana water tenyi)
There’s always a way to negate Dark Ruler No More. In response, just tell them SHE CALL ME MR. BOOMBASTIC
*Vader breathez heavy* no... tha chain resolvez 1st then dark ruler iz tha last eff ta go off... *Vader breathez heavy*
But why would dark ruler negates your monster?
Player A has Archfiend Abyss and impermanence, Player B has a monster.
Player B activate dark ruler no more,
Player A chain the impermanence to the dark ruler no more, if Player B has no response can Player A chain Abyss to the impermanence to negate dark ruler no more?
Sure. This is because archfiend is not responding to Dark Ruler No More but impermanence.
Yes
I have a ruling question MST TV. Would number 38 hope harbinger be able to negate dark ruler no more? Funny skit!
No
No; DRNM says no player can responding with monsters
*Vader breathez heavy* so tom... iz lost wind in damage calc good or naw??? *Vader breathez heavy*
Lost wind can be used in BEFORE damage Calc, not during (both steps are in damage step)
Dark ruller on a negated monster is false. It doesmtnspecifically say negate effect monster effects. Since it is a face up monster on the field. It still gets negated at the same time as unicore
The skin's link is missing??

My bad
If a card can negate the activation of of either the card and the effect, can you decide to negate the effect on a card activation.
For example Generaider Harr deciding to only negate the effect activation of Eldlixir of Black Awakening, instead of the card activation so the condition to lock them to Eldlich is active?
no the way cards like this work is when it says the effects of a card it means something already face up activating it effect
example be diagram using it pop effect to search (you could with harr negate the activation of the card or when it goes to use its effects at 2 points you can negate it)
but their no pick and choosing effect or activation its just on continuous and field spells (some others ) they have effect that activate while face up
If the card have its activation then the condition lock is not applied
If it is negated, it is still applied
Until now no cards can choose to negate the activation or negate the effect unfortunately
If it exists, I will choose to negate the effect for HOPT cards and negate the activation for other cases
2 Impermanence activated by each player can't target the same monster cause a player who activates impermanence must target a monster controlled by his opponent
The example was the one player targeting the opponent's one monster in hopes to turn off 2 columns.
Never did I mention the player controlling the monster had imperm.
All those people who called an Adamancipator player stupid for not going into Dragite feel like fools now, huh? There probably wasn't a water in the GY at the time.
Emergency Provisions XD
Impermanence only targets your opponents monsters so how would both players be able to target the same monster with impermanence?
In the example is you have 2 imperm then activated both of them targeting your opponent monster to negate it and negate 2 collomn at the same time.
Not that 2 Players have imperm and try to use it on the same monster.
This guy always gives the best tips(thats what she said). Gotta love this dude(no homo).
Im sorry that everybody asks if youre jet li
If dark ruler no more fails to negate anything can damage be applied?
No
No since it is not resolved properly

Lol they asked about future fusion. Case of really not reading.
Have you meet Yu-Gi-Oh Players? Even the pro players do it sometimes.
@@ramaroy2408 lol then all i have to say is are they pro or just a cheating a hole that half read there card and said wow look what i can do. Yah I'll admit i read a card and said good effect then play test and go man cool. Then later i read it again and find out wait that's not how this works.
@@Aaron_Heininger if it can get the W they won't care lol. Just like in the video skit. Cheating is part of the game(as long as you don't get caught), heck if you don't pay attention your opponent maybe normal summon Twice in the same turn(it happen alot).
@@ramaroy2408 yah and that's why i dont play pro. It's too much of a headache to read every card being played and koonami made it easier to cheat with making it not mandatory to be able to verify if they have the card in hand or not when you play effects like harr the boss of storms that forces them to send a monster in the hand to grave. They could lie say they dont have a monster the next turn play a draw card or two shuffle around there hand first before dropping summoning a monster or dropping a hand trap next turn. You dont know if they had it in hand already or drew into it. At least the search targets or excavation of cards have to be shown. And i always hated when i did play mind crush to rip a card out of hand before it got reruled to be able to verify the cards wasnt there and the people i played would only turn there hand for a quick second and go there i showed you. Annoyed the hell out of me. But the biggest reason i dont play pro is cause i dont like people touching my cards. I know that sounds dumb but when you have an expensive card and someone picks it up and digs there finger nail into it that pissed me off to the point i almost punched the guy. Now when i play locals i only duel with cheap decks or play with people i trust not to be dicks.
Adamancipator dragite is a mermail duh
then it would be a Bad deck lol
Cant imperm an impermed monster... unless at the same time somehow the monster changed side of field 😂😂
No the example is the Player have 2 imperm and target your monster to negate 2 of your S/T collumns.
@@ramaroy2408 If Impermance is already applying its effect, the another Impermanence effect is not applied
@@jofx4051 that's what tombox explain.
@@ramaroy2408 😂😅
Man I don’t get yugioh some times.
Like no water monster in grave.
Don't worry even pro players can fall for it. Just look at online tournaments in PPG or cimoo CCC tournament. Both of them pro players and one of them normal summoning Twice in the same turn(both of them have tops in YCS).
😂😂😂
