One of the Best sitcoms ever. No matter how much they refuse to have reruns of this phenomenal groundbreaking show. Those exceptional cast deserves to be receiving residual checks.🖤❤💚
I'm so happy I had the pleasure of growing up with this show. Having the weekly anticipation of waiting for the new episodes. Talking about the show with friends at school the next day. The joy of dreaming that when we grow up life, marriage, and family will be just like what we were shown in The Cosby show. Looking back on these episodes brings back so many great memories and feelings. Thank you for sharing this💕.
Gordon Gartrell is apart of the production team if you look at closing credits. Its a trip how Theo's voice changed. Literally watched a boy turn into a man for 8 years.
That is something that’s unfortunately missing in this world of streaming and endless options. These shows brought the nation together and gave us a sense of community. 62 million people tuned in weekly. That’s a bygone era, sadly. And we’re seeing the effects.
A black family that is articulate and inspirational. A black family that was a good example for black people. A family that made other people respect black families. The parents are hard-working. The children are expected to be educated. Then gansta rap happened! People didnt have to try to be better than what they are. They didnt aspire to be better. The gansta rap culture has a lot to answer for! Not since have black people been portrayed this way.. A father, a mother and children in a family black people can be proud of; a family that people respected. A family that showed that black people are sophisticated. Gangsta rap and ghetto culture has a lot to answer for! We need to return to this version of black culture.
@charlotteclark6061 Unfortunately, people are influenced and inspired by what they see, especially on TV. Yeah.. the one gangsta rapper did well, but the community at large is poorer for it. Gangsta rappers glorify vices, violence(mostly against black people, btw) and debauchery. They didn't call anyone up. We as a community must start calling out the aspects of our culture that keep us down. Music is not merely a form of entertainment..in this case, gansta rap became the soundtrack to a lot of young black people's lives; they were inspired by it. They wanted to be the gangsta and do what ganstas do. I'd rather young black boys and girl look up to the family portrayed in the show than any gansta rapper. More families like this family than any gansta rapper throughout the history of that particular genre. Yes, the one individual gangsta rapper does well, but the community is poorer for it.
It's such a nostalgic moment in time. Such a wonderful show , such great memories ❤️. Cobsy needs to be back on all streaming platforms, in my humble opinion. Brooklyn is watching 👀

Robin Givens on the Cosby show. Theo he cleaned up his room trying to make a good impression on her brother you work too hard your sister said normal behavior
Will always love this show for its positivity and how *all* families could relate to the situations the characters found themselves in. What they did in their personal lives, while for Mr. Cosby was quite heinous, once they stepped off the set, was their business.
I once burned the skin off my left making a boiled egg at 11 yrs old because my family was watching this show and I grabbed the pot off the stove to run in to see what was so funny and turned the water on myself !! Lesson learned.

@kaykepop4084 THE BEST...HANDS DOWN!!! 😉🥰😊
Theo’s shirt would be considered fashionable in 2023. 😂😂
Yup absolutely
So true! Given the horrors of modern fashion. 😳😬
That shirt was awesome!
2024 even
Only one thing: it buttoned right over left, which is for women. Men's clothes are left over right. He was wearing a girl's shirt.
Each clip about Theo was so funny I love it all
Love the scream when he finds out about his shirt... after 30 years still funny as hell
