Thanks! The wobble I speak of is from the drill, my finger caught the brunt of it.

thanks for answering my question. I have a jl vxi 600/6 on morel tempo ultra 692 and jl c2 in rear. The sub is a jl tw3 in the wedge jl box on a Rockford fosgate t750. i want more bass and a better front stage. i have the factory 8 inch non sony systems. trying to decide if i want to wait on the idata maestro kit to come out or use an android phenix t style radio.

I would add another jl tw3 that amp is plenty of power for two. As far as the front stage goes I'm a huge fan of the focal flax line. You will be stepping down a 6.5 though. Did you sound deaden the doors?

@@stereoking7778 Yes the doors are deaden with roadkill. my first setup was a A.C. dm608 and Lc 4.800 I like the jl dsp better but I really want to change my head unit thinking about the Phoenix tablet radio or the Kenwood dnx 7706s .

@@stereoking7778 I really think I need to run all new speaker wire. right now I am using stinger speed wire from the amp to the carav harness behind the radio.

@@marauder0284 Are you talking about the elevate? If so you could switch to optical input on your vxi amp which would be awesome! As far as running wires into the doors I really doubt you would hear a substantial difference unless you are running active and relocating the tweeter to the sail panel.

What’s up man? I stumbled across your channel while looking for info on the JL Audio 10 TW3- D4. Do you know if it can be used for a replacement for the factory sub behind the seat in a 2010 Honda Ridgeline? The space is really shallow. Or worst case scenario can you recommend a good under seat sub box that I can combine with two of those subs? I only have about a $700 budget. Plus I still have to get it installed here in Georgia. By the way, do you know of any good installers in the metro Atlanta area? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I wouldn't recommend trying to replace the factory sub with a tw3 sub, the plastic enclosure wouldn't be strong enough. It maybe tough to get 2 subs, enclosure and amp all installed for $700, I would guess you would be $300+ in wiring and labor so that doesn't leave much for product. As far as recommending some one in Atlanta, I hear Cartunes is a solid shop.

Have you ever had an RP-5 turn off on you ?
My Chevy sonic I installed and after certain volume(not that loud) it turns off my radio and turns on again. 5 channel amp installed with speed wire to the harness maybe too much power?

Yes, I would run the speed wire after the rp5. If that doesn't work I would make sure the unit is up to date.
