Cool, I haven't actually seen this form factor before, but here's another use case for you, say you don't want to go through the trouble of roof mounting panels + grid-tie inverters + permits, etc.. Well as long as you aren't putting anything onto the grid itself, then you can have your solar system as a separate technically off-grid system.
You need at least a small battery so it wouldn't constantly switch back and forth, but something like this is nice as it will allow you to run whatever from solar at daylight hours and automatically switch back to the grid.

Great video. Would have loved to see you tear one of the ATSes down to look at the construction

We use the cyberpower units in racks to power switches from dual UPS.

and good thing you didn't switch the 240v unit like that because both legs are hot, so it would go from 240 to 120v, albeit without a return neutral most likely but still a ground. I have no idea what a PDU would do in that case but I'd hope it would transfer off the bad input. If both outputs are switched off with light switches bad things might happen inside the PDU or server as two hot legs would still exist and could potentially bridge across from A to B side or vice versa. Even with 120v that probably still exists if you are switching on the neutral instead of the hot. So the lesson is, never play with electricity unless you 200% know what you are doing!

Could we get updated 2021 battery videos?
