I was super salty about him not being in the top 100 too, but it's so good to hear him say that he doesn't even focus on stuff like that. Hopefully he stays in Detroit for a long time.

I met Kenny G outside wing stop in Southfield a couple years ago. Very cool down to earth brotha off the field, but that south side of Chicago comes out once he laces them cleats up! One of my favorite players
He's very humble. You don't get the big shot attitude from him. He's my younger cousin. He played for our grandpa's little league team every year. I'm proud of what he's doing. Still the same person at heart. He subbed in his first game against the Colts in the 17' pre-season game and finished the game with 2 TDs and 2 TDs the following games. The man has forced and recovered a rumble against the Jets his 2nd year in pre-season.

@@dareonallen9574 it was 2nd quarter of a Monday Night game against the Jets. Trumaine Johnson picked off a pass on the Jets 20, Kenny laid him out at the 30 and knocked the ball loose, then he recovered it in a smooth motion
KG, one of the most underrated WR in the game. Dude put up over 1k yards & 10 TDs with 4 different QBs last year. Going to be a monster with a healthy Stafford.

There's a great amount of potential in Kenny G and this RB upgraded offense. I want to see the Lions force their will on all their competition and at the least: WIN THE NFC NORTH.

I do feel like Detroit gets overshadowed by the more marketable teams, so when we have KG ball out, he doesn't get the same name recognition as your Beckams, Thielins, Hopkins etc. Our record is what it is, but it's not fair to discredit the work these guys put in. It's always something though, had the most TDs, over 1100 yards, but they'll knock him for the teams record being bad. And some of these players get in just because they're big name guys from a season or two ago, but like GQ said, down year for them and they still come in at the #3 WR. KG is gonna get his though, he's gonna ball out and make plays and some more insane catches that humans have no business being able to make, and people will start to recognize the talent!
