RIX a whatever pseudonym it is , I thought the rest of the bunch on Ross looked either jealous or scared .....as for an " interview "..a load of bollock 's and Jonathan Ross 's hair dye looks ridiculous .😨😨😨Glenda Jackson is far too intelligent for many so called " Celebrities ".

Erm, no. Outside of Clarkson, most of them either won’t know who she is or will hardly know her.

With Oscars or not this lady was in many ways the greatest actress of the 20th and early 21st centuries. And even now when she’s gone she still holds the special place in the pantheon of outstanding leading ladies ever to walk the stage and printed in the celluloid! It has to be the movement in acting named after her!

What I like about Glenda Jackson and really it's to do with people from a certain time, there is no over reacting, trying to be funny and excessive inter-play, that I find a lot of people do these days.

Wonderful actress, MP. Sad she never backed Jeremy Corbyn. He biggest down fall. She spoke out against him. But good she spoke out against Margaret Thatcher.

Why would you expect her to support a bigot?

She did say supportive words in the beginning but turned against him by 2019, which was a mistake it shows a weakness, to go along with the tide of opinion and I credited her with a strong enough mind to see through all the crap. In one interview she did talk about astrology so that's a bit meh as well, everyone has their weak points.

If she turned against Corbyn she evidently had reason - she's one of the most intelligent, independent thinkers I've ever seen, and had 20 years in politics in its purest form, Public Service; so I bow to her superior knowledge and have the deepest respect for her courage and unflinching honesty. God Rest her warrior heart.

I love her. But she went to the tonys... it’s weird how artist relate to awards

Well the Tonys are for Theatre, a more respected art form in her opinion.

@@damianhoffman36 oh trust me, she's very old school. She DEFINITELY respects the art form, she was my MP so I actually met her a few times, she said that the Academy Award ceremony is too exaggerated and she eventually went to the Tonys because it's done in a more classy way.

Yes she did, but maybe she's softened over the years. Kate Hepburn also didn't like going, but showed up one year to present an award to a producer who was a very good friend of hers.
