The fact that I think Mrs Thatcher was an important politician who had to make some difficult decisions to turn around a country that was in decline or that Glenda Jackson was one of our greatest actresses is beside the point. I hope that the actress and you will one day reflect on our own spirituality in judging others.

She never said anything cruel. Merely pointed out the devastation Thatcher's ideologically driven policies wreaked on large sections of the community. But no point going over that again, been done to death.
The Empress of Theatre returns! Long live the Empress! How I wish and hope and dream I could see Ms Jackson on stage. The best pairing of two superb actresses Glanda Jackson and Vanessa Redgrave in Mary Queen of Scots.
She's not flawed or sick. She's just brutally honest. And bless her for it.

She is one of the best EVER! Along with Vanessa Redgrave, Deborah Kerr, Maggie Smith, Peggy Ashcroft, Judi Dench, Emma Thompson, to name a few, they may be the finest of British actresses, or ANY actresses.
plus of course Vivien Leigh, Julie Christie, Greer Garson, Natasha Richardson(British-American), Kate Winslet, Charlotte Rampling, Dame Edith Evans, Brenda Blethyn, Emily Watson to the list of great British actresses

I just saw Elizabeth Is Missing, really good movie with awesome twist ending that was both sad and kind of funny
