I’m actually thinking of starting a UA-cam channel , cause I have lost 8 and a half stone in the last two years , and I video every meal I make , but I’m nervous about it , I won’t show my face , just video what I am cooking every day , healthy food , I think 🤔 I will give it a go , but it’s so hard on UA-cam to even be recognised , any tips jill 🌻🌻
I would say, show your face 🙂 I know know you said you don’t want to, but I think it really helps people feel like they are connecting with someone, rather than just hearing a voice. You will learn as you go along. And don’t start a channel trying to make it big lol, just start one for fun and see who you can reach! It’s fun to connect with people going through the same things as you.

Put foil on first then the lid
Ohh that’s a good idea, thank you! Might save me from having to buy a new crock pot.
My old crock pot lid did the same thing and it would no longer cook anything thoroughly, so I had to throw it away. I learned that the rubber part around the lid shrinks when you wash it in the dishwasher.
I bought a new crock pot that has the lock clips on both sides a few months ago and it works great! It's the Crockpot brand. And I now wash the crockpot lid by hand, so I don't have to worry about the rubber shrinking.

I was looking at your floor while you mopped it and it looks like the previous owners left those cracks deliberately. I guess you could always fill them with grout.
I always hand wash the crock pot so I don’t think that’s the cause for me…it did cook but I ended up turning it up to high because it didn’t seem like it was getting hot enough.

The cracks are because the floor wasn’t laid down correctly😞
