This is probably my favorite album of all time, i loved seeing one of my favorite bands come back out of nowhere and drop this banger. The Kintsugi Kid ended up being my number 1 song on Spotify last year
honestly same! i love this album so so much, it’s incredible and just might be my favorite as well. The kintsugi kid is sooo good, my 1 song on spotify was love from the other side!
@@notenoughstardustit’s good, but not up there with take this to your grave, folie a deux and infinity on high and from under the cork tree. Those are legendary
They killed it with this one. Also, at least for me, the album tricks you into nostalgia. The lyric "You were the sunshine of my lifetime, what would you trade the pain for?" is in the first song and the last song. So you hear it, forget it while listening to all the in-between songs, and when you get to the last song it sounds vaguely familiar but you're not sure why, and it makes you sad.
this is so accurate, love from the other side is my second favourite fall out boy song, but oh man, the title track means so much, it was emotional enough but after i watched it get debuted live at the london show i went to i aggresively sob on the inside every time i listen to it
omg! seeing smfs live would literally be the death of me..i rlly hope they put it on the set for 2ourdust i lost my mind when i heard they debuted it. i’m so happy for you that you got to see it!! sounds like it was amazing..and lftos is def one of my favs ever too it’s soo good
There's a beauty to this album that I've never seen before from Fall Out Boy. Of course that's not to say they've skimped out on incredible melodies or poignant lyricism in the past; but there is something about how Every Part of Stardust just tears at your heartstrings but puts a smile on your face - it's hard to put it into words exactly. Something about the hopeful nihilism that seems to almost guide the album out of a post-pandemic world. The boys have absolutely outdone themselves this time around, and I can't wait to hear what's next.
@notenoughstardust I was very lucky to go to their concert in Oklahoma and when I tell you I screamed so loud when they played heaven iowa its not an exaggeration I was so close to crying
@@kiwiisawitch3089 omg literally same LOL not the same show but i’ve been really lucky to see them live a few times and the videos i have of that song..it’s literally just me screaming and i cried when i saw it during 2ourdust..it’s such an amazing and powerful song
there is so much I could say about this album that i cant even write here because it would be ridiculous to write a wholeass essay in a youtube comment section. but its a fucking fantastic album, a modern rock opera if you will, and god. fucking- god. yeah this is it this is it completely i dont even need the essay a video is a thousand words LMAO
For real thoughhhh! At the beginning of Heaven Iowa I’m just so chill and contemplating life, then at the climax I go all out and my family is concerned when they find me wherever I am 😂😂
@@notenoughstardust yeah I definitely made a mistake not giving it a chance It's like a really good blend of both pre-break and post-break FOB and I am ALL HERE FOR IT Also I don't know if this is a controversial opinion but the We Didn't Start The Fire cover isn't a bad cover It's just the lyrics that lack in the quality department (I will play devils advocate and say the idea of it all being out of chronological order gives the song a new meaning, that meaning being that the world's going so fast that in terms of events, it's all becoming just one big blur, but they still could've found a way to avoid some of the more "awkward" bars) The actual song has a really intense sound that I personally love, and I absolutely adore songs that go into high gear, like Misery Business by Paramore which is one of my favorite pop-punk songs by an absolute mile (I'm even listening to it as I'm writing this final bit lol).
